History

Established in 2005.

Since 1982, the Moses Family has been setting the standard for quality, «made from scratch» food at a reasonable price… starting with their 1st restaurant «Paradise Café» and later «Tommy’s Paradise Bar and Grill» at Parker Dam. However it has always been their dream to come Lake Havasu and build something a little different. In a town of very mediocre food and atmosphere, the Moses family wanted to fill a particular niche’ that had been missing in LHC, and fill it they did with ChaBones Steakhouse & Tapas Bar. Voted #1 time and again, they also were named one of the 25 best restaurants in Arizona by «Arizona Highways».

Meet the Business Owner

Laurie M.

Business Owner

Unable to sleep one night, the idea of ChaBones came to Laurie and she stayed up the rest of the night drawing the building and concept that you see today. Always a «hands-on» business owner, she designed and created everything from the rock walls, the unusual colors, the banana leaf light spheres and the arched cement bar… to the unique Tapas and Dining menus. She even did most of the mosaic tiling as well as paint most of the unique artwork in the Restaurant. Originally from Southern California, Laurie moved to the Parker area in 1974, married and had 2 boys, and has always had a deep seeded passion for arts of all kinds — culinary, textural, paint, mosaic and sculptural. Laurie still has a hand in the business, especially when there is a special menu to prepare… but her oldest son Cameron is now the General Manager and is very astute at keeping up the quality service and food that his Mother first envisioned.
