Somewhere between Seinfeld soup Nazi and just a quaint little experience is the owner of this little establishment.
A nice welcome, first time we were there, but as soon as we asked if we could change any of the ingredients on the menu for our order it was a staunch no.
Oddly, we didn’t mind, as his integrity for his recipes and menu was rocksolid.
We ordered the salmon and tuna sushi roll which was delicious, we ordered the burrito special role which was really nice, but the best thing we ate yesterday was the deep fried salmon and cream cheese roll.
It was delicious and a funny experience we both agreed it was a little bit of like a soup Nazi at any moment he could’ve thrown us out from asking if we could change the different recipes!
We will be back, we won’t run but we will definitely be back at some point in the very near future. A positive experience!

Good rolls good bowls (much better than some other bowl places) great prices and the crab mix is pretty good! Not your fancy but for counter service sushi and Japanese it’s pretty good.

Food’s great, and when it’s not busy, they’re super fast. Come in at lunch hours though, and you have to wait around 15 – 20 minutes. Prices are pretty good, and the food you get has huge portions.

Absolutely filthy. Every single table has left over food trays on it and nobody has cleared anything off. No wonder the place is empty.

Been coming for years, always get chicken and beef bowl. Clean and good food. My youngest son has been obsessed with this place for at least 5 years.

Great food, friendly staff. Not the best sushi you will ever had but been eating here for years and never gotten sick. Some good deals M-​Th on California rolls and crunch rolls. Not a ton of inside seating and reasonably priced

This is a review of the service, not quality of food.
I have been coming to this particular establishment for the past 10 years and I can tell you that customer service is not a priority. The owner has a tendency to prioritize people who are dining in. So, if you are getting your food to go, phone it in or dine-​in unless you want to wait 30+ minutes for your food.
The kicker is that the manager didn’t seem apologetic let alone actually apologize for the long wait.

They have really good prices for a good amount of food. The lunch specials are the best! They are pretty fast with getting the food out. Place is clean as well.

So yummy! Quick and easy for takeout! They have awesome deals too. Definitely will be back for takeout

I love Yogi’s as you can tell by the regularity in which I come! Well known for chicken teriyaki bowls (which are amazing) and come in 2 sizes; small and large. On Monday and Tuesday they have an 8 piece Cali roll for 2.99 and it is very good (have a sushi chef) on staff at the front so you can see what he is doing. Pricing is not cheap for this kind of place, would actually say a little overpriced. If you are in a hurry you can call in your order and then it is ready when you get there (usually 10 – 15 minutes). They have a rewards program if you are a regular, so make sure to ask for the card.

I love yogis! They have awesome sushi rolls when you have a quick craving. One of my favorites to get are the salmon plate or their famous chicken bowl. They’re quick and clean and always friendly.

We just moved to the area and was told this place wasn’t too good. WHAT? This place is the bomb! The service is great, the food is fresh and I love to take advantage of the specials they have. Definitely recommend this place!

I work in the area so I come here once awhile to grab lunch, usually do a phone order and look at the menu online. Recently I was very disappointed because I do the usual of looking at the online menu, order through phone and one of our coworkers goes in to pick up the food.
I ordered the KBBQ RIB Plate which online clearly says $ 11.99. When my coworker came back she said wow that was $ 16.19… In my head I knew it never was that much because if it was I would just go to an all you can eat kbbq afterwards if I was paying that much.
Anyways gave them a call back and said that the price was incorrect online and the gentlemen said the prices are subject to change and should be written somewhere on the menu below which did not say anything. He then said the menu in the restaurant said that and obviously I’m not there in person to read that so how can I know, hahah well anyways my experience with them went down the drain and the customer service was horrible. Instead he offered to give me credit for the 5 $ extra charge but instead I returned the 3 slack of ribs that was clearly not worth 16 $. I dont understand why I wasnt offered the ribs for $ 11.99 and given back the $ 5 instead. It was clearly their fault and irresponsible for not updating their website.

This past friday we went there with my son to order some take out !!! Well we all got food poison been vomiting with diarrhea and everything else for the past 2 days. So upset its not fair!!! DONT EAT THERE !!! ITS BAD REALLY BAD NEWS

Love this Place. Best sushi in Lake Forest and Mission Viejo. Gita try the El Toro Roll and Gyoza, plus great Chicken Steak bowels.

Sushi is decent — definitely not the best I’ve had but for the price it’s reasonable.
They have a great happy hour menu and on certain days the crunch roll is only $ 5!
Staff is friendly and inside has always been clean when I’ve eaten here.

Place is always great and service is awesome! Food is always fresh and spot on!
My go to location for local rolls at a reasonable price!

I stopped in because they were advertising a great deal: Monday and Tuesday $ 2.99 for an 8 piece CA roll.
The roll tasted good and there were bits of avocado in each piece — I wish there was cucumber in it to give it that nice freshness and texture. However, it’s not a bad deal at all. I would come back for a cheap and quick snack.
