Ok let’s start of with there food. Ok so they had some great food until this one time I ordered a shrimp coctail from them which I had in the past, and all was great until one time it was so watered down and smelled like raw fish which It shouldn’t. I am a huge shrimp cocktail cridic. I know a thing or two on how it should taste and this time they failed. So my total was like $ 16 or so because I ordered it with extra avocado and extra lime. So as soon as I got home i called them and explained to them that the shrimp cocktail wasn’t good. They told me that it WAS good and that it is my opinion which of course it is. I mean as a paying customer it should be my opinion especially with shrimp. I mean you can get very sick with bad shrimp. Well anyways they told me to come down and they would refund my money which was nice of them. GOODRIGHT??? Nope… can you believe they wanted to just give me a portion of what I paid. They claim that nothing was wrong with limes and avocado. I was in shock. I mean isnt it fair to refund the whole amount. These people are just unreal. I made a big ass deal about it So they ended up giving me all my money but that’s not the point. I shouldn’t have to make a big deal about it in order for them to refund me the whole amount. Also I might add ever since this issue they treat me differently. like If I bother them. Not the way to run a business. I will return because the joint across the street isn’t as good.

I hate to give a local business 1 star but when you practice horrible customer service you deserve it!!! Ordered $ 50 in food here like I have done many times in past, then get home and realized they gave us the wrong burrito. Called and spoke with girl who took my order and couldn’t believe that she admitted that she knew the kitchen made the order but gave it to me anyway. She said she would take my name down so we would get a credit for the burrito on my next order. I went in the next week to place another order and inquired about the credit for the 1 burrito but the owner said no one left him any message and he didn’t want to honor it… he acted like I was lying to him. Just seems like bad business to me to loose out on $ 50 orders over one burrito because there is a lot of good Mexican food places in the area and I’ll be taking my orders elsewhere from now on.

I went 15 minutes b4 closing and they told me I could only order tacos because they were already cleaning up. I wouldn’t mind if they offered some kind of discount for the inconvenience since they were suppose to be open and bc didn’t plan on buying tacos but since I was already there I got the tacos.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I bought three street carne asada tacos no flavor and the meat was crunchy as if it was old. After I ate my stomach started to hurt. The one star is for the salsas those are pretty good

Prices have gone up and the menu is not flexible. For example, a bean and cheese only chimichanga WITHOUT meat was $ 8.99! Without meat! And to top it off, $.75 to use a credit/debit card! I understand those card machines cost a lot and they take a good percentage for each transaction but there’s many alternatives nowadays. I’ve seen donut shops use a variety of devices. Get with the times. This isn’t Tijuana! Many small restaurants and shops now even use Apple Pay. So easy. But stop nickel and diming and overcharging for beans and cheese.

The food was very tasty and fresh. I had the chicken flauta plate and my friend has a carne asada burrito. At the end of our meal we were pleasantly full. The employees were very nice and the restaurant was clean/well maintained.

Food so authentic that it will have you speaking Spanish by meal end. If it ends! The portions are enough to feed two full grown adult males! Al pastor with all kinds of goodness! Beans, rice, lettuce and all the fixings needed to make a taco! All and all it was good, cheap, and i have lunch and dinner!

I use to love this place. Portions are huge and the prices are decent but I think I’ve had my final stop here after today. It was pouring rain and I felt like having some ceviche with some chips. I went inside and I saw the owner behind the counter. The ceviche tostada is 4.99 and I asked if I could just get it to go with chips, he seemed very disgruntled and didn’t even respond and picked up a little container and I told him that was okay… He charged me the 4.99, then another 1.00 for the chips and not to mention the 1.00 fee to use the debit card… I really wanted it, so I didn’t care… Came home and the ceviche was absolutely horrible! There was so much lemon! Half the container was lemon juice! There was barely any actual ceviche in the container and what was there you couldn’t even taste because of the overwhelming lemon juice in it. I was completely disappointed about it. My girlfriend said to take it back but I just tossed it… Now I’m snacking on chips as I write this review. I always believe if you don’t like your job then quit. The owners sour attitude was as sour as the taste of my ceviche today. Don’t think I’ll be going back here.

Started visiting this venue when I used to live near here and a friend recommended it to me. I am still a regular even though I’ve moved several miles away. Best Mexican food in this area, in my opinion and I confess I’ve only had their flautas, burrito, enchiladas both red and green sauce. Loved both versions!!! Especially love that their chicken is shredded white meat(majority of the time) Had their chicken soup one chilly day and recalled it to be a little bland, but I definitely want to try more of their menu again soon. The refried beans are really smooth in texture and tasty. Rice is perfectly cooked. Noticed their tamales can be pre ordered for the weekends. I definitely want to try those in chicken, cheese, and jalapeño. Think they also had beef. Awesome friendly service; consistently delicious!

Los Amgios might be tough to find if you Unilocal it and use the map application. My coworker and I were in the area and checked with the locals and they said Los Amigos was a decent place to get grab a good Mexican lunch. Our first time up Railroad Canyon we ended up driving passed the restaurant. Come to find out, Los Amigos is located in the Chevron gas station in a strip mall above the street. We didn’t know it was inside the Chevron. As we rolled up, we noticed the overhead menu to be filled with yummy plates, tacos, burritos, etc. I ended up getting the Carnitas dinner plate(carnitas, Mexican rice, beans, guac and tortilla). It was good! They have a nice salsa bar with hot salsa, and the tortilla chips were decent. AYC-drink beverages. Fast food Mexican, not bad. Cheap.
