Walked in and this place smelled like a septic tank. The food here is good but the service not so much. They brought me the wrong food and then did not ask if we wanted a 2nd beer. They basically never even checked up on us. Not really sure why I even left a tip. This place used to be awesome. What happened?

I went there with a $ 25 gift certificate purchased on ‘Restaurants.com’ and placed an order of $ 50 and then they told me they won’t take my certificate. ummmm what? Why would sell your gift certificate if you don’t take them, totally don’t understand that, and how would you punish the customer you need to take that up with . Can’t believe how badly the customer service was here. Will never go back.

The waitress was quite rude and unfriendly. Beware; the prices from their menus are different from the prices on the board behind the register. I order carne asada fries that were 5.99 but she then charged me 6.99 on the receipt. I questioned her about it and very rudely she told me the prices had been updated. As for the food, it’s good.

I ordered Chimichanga. It’s soooo good! The portion is big enough for 2 people. Salsa for chips is thin.

They give huge portions and the prices are ridiculously cheap. Best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. We came for taco Tuesday and I ended up getting the grande burrito(it was fabulous and huge!) my boyfriend ended up getting the fajitas which he said were spectacular. I wish I lived closer because this spot would become a weekly visit. 10⁄10 service was great too, so friendly and attentive

I honestly love this place. I come here all the time and always has friendly customer service and the they serve a lot of food in my opinion for what they charge. I will recommend this place to anyone.

More like a 1.5 star. Food was pretty mediocre. About a 4⁄10. And the service took forever. About 35 mins for 3 plates. Everyone else’s food seemed to come much quicker. My friend got her appetizer right with the food. And a side dish that I asked for twice was forgotten. Also, don’t think they have a liquor, so no margaritas for me. Bummer. Most likely won’t return again.

Love the bacon wrapped shrimp! Busy at times but the waitresses are always attentive! The micheladas are also really good!!! Sometimes the music can be a tad too loud.

I would like to start this review off by saying the service here is completely unacceptable. Waited 20mins for something that was never even made.

The food is pretty good. But by the time we got it, it was very cold. It wasn’t busy either, there were only a couple other people seated and it took at least an hour to get the food to us. I debate on going back here because the food is good but the service is horrible.

I really debated leaving this review, writing it makes me sad. We have been coming here about once a week for the last couple of years, mostly for take out but we occasionally eat in. We had family in town and wanted to show them our favorite Mexican place in town and well Vero’s you really disappointed us. First, I want to acknowledge that it was very busy the night we came in. The servers and cooks were busting their butts to get everyone fed and I really appreciate how hard it gets when a big rush comes. That being said, our service was pretty bad. First, when we ordered we requested avocado be added to our California burrito. Our waitress asked if we wanted the guac still, which surprised us because we had thought it didn’t automatically come with guac. We said the guac was fine, no need for the avocado. Our party of 4 ordered. Some time passed, and one of our orders was brought out. He ate so not to let his food get cold, but he was almost done with his meal by the time the rest of the table came out. Also during this time we saw other tables sat after us get their food, frustrating. I could tell my fish taco had sat a while as the sauce had already worked its way through one of my tortillas and the crispness of the fish was gone. The California burrito was brought out with the avocado on the side, so our discussion about the guac must have been forgotten. Avocado outside the burrito was a little useless(we aren’t going to rewrap it) so when I went to pay I asked the waitress if she could remove the charge for the avocado, as it wasn’t even put inside it(not to mention we had actually not even ordered it). At this point I was still chalking everything up to an off night that they were maybe understaffed for. However, when I requested not to pay the $ 1 for the avocado, she differed to another staff member, who then asked, in Spanish, if we had eaten it. I don’t know if this was an intentional attempt to have a conversation about my situation in front of me that I couldn’t understand, but it felt that way and i was honestly shocked that after all the things I didn’t even bother complaining about, and after all the times I have come to give them business, this $ 1 was important. In the end I did get the avocado taken off, but the whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth, which is so sad to me because I had really loved this place.

The food here was very good and served very quickly… I advised the management that I would certainly come back except for the fact that the air conditioning in the restaurant seemed to be off. I cannot sit and enjoy my food in a hot environment. Unfortunately I will not be back because of that.

Not a bad little spot. I stopped in after picking up truck from the Chevy dealership. I had the chicken enchilada plate. It was good and the chicken was nice and tender. The michelada I ordered was super, super salty. The server topped it off with beer for me. It helped a little bit. Way too much salt for my liking.

Well… this could rate waaaay higher however, the service was seriously that bad. Its unfortunate. She was friendly but so nonexistent we had to cash ourselves out while still leaving a 25% tip because we didn’t want to wait any longer. We had to get our own togo chips and salsa though we dined in, I had to go up and ask for two more drinks… which one was completely opposite of what we ordered. The food was excellent though. Not like the best I’ve ever had but definitely good enough to order togo from now on due to our dining experience… which sucks because we like to dine in and have a few beers. I ordered the fiesta burrito with cabbage as a substitute for no rice and no cheese. Therefore, it was shrimps, chicken, fajitas veggies and cabbage. It was excellent!!! My boyfriend had carnitas and pollo asado chicken tacos, he was happy… just wish tbe server was and acted like we there… bummer that crappy service can make you go elsewhere.

My Mother and I go to Vero’s every so often for our fix for shrimp, but aisde from this neither of us have enjoyed much of the menu. Some like their fish tacos but when I have had them the shells were soggy and the fish was overly«fishy». Their Carne Asada and Al Pastor are decent but if that is what you are after I would say look elsewhere. Menu items are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for with the shrimp items, I just don’t know how this place isn’t more well-rounded. Shrimp a la Diabla is delicious as an entrée and especially as a burrito, Their Bacon Wrapped Shrimp(Camarones de Costa Azul) is a real treat. My advice is to go for the shrimp, beer pricing is also reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Wait times can be long.

It’s okay It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t inspiring either. Just your average run-of-the-mill mexican/seafood restaurant. Some negative points, our drinks & food were slow coming out. However our server was sweet & professional.
