Banyan Tree Divers is a small SCUBA diving company located in Lahaina, West Maui. We introduce every guest to Maui’s most colorful, active and uncrowded dive sites. It is a little known fact that the best dives sites are shore dives. When shore diving with BTD, our guests enjoy a fun, private and safe experience with the highest standards of customer service. We understand that your time on Maui is limited, so our company offers small group sizes and flexible scheduling. Whether you are experienced or have never tried diving before, let Banyan Tree Divers be your host!

History

Established in 2013.

One of the world’s largest Indian Banyan Trees was originally planted in Lahaina’s old courthouse square in 1873. Lahaina’s Banyan Tree had been imported from India standing just 8 feet tall. This spectacular tree now shades more than ²⁄₃ of an acre, supported by 16 trunks and standing 60 feet high. Lahaina’s Banyan Tree is the town’s shaded heart, where local festivals take place, artists sell their goods, and many different faces come to rest. As ambassadors of Maui’s dive community, Banyan Tree Divers is creating our own island dive haven where guests enjoy not only the stunning underwater beauty of Hawaii, but also a welcoming SCUBA environment. We are in the land of Aloha after all!
