This place is heaven sent. I will forever be thankful to my friend who pointed me in this direction. $ 25 consultation is the best price you will get from any reputable dentist. Everyone here cares about the job, from the person answering the phone to the dentist seeing you.
Whoever hired Dean Garcia made the most intelligent decision in their life. He is an asset to this place. He actually cares about his patients. He takes the time to listen and answer all your questions.
For as long as I live, I will point other people in his direction. It would be a disservice to not send patients to him.

I’ve been here for fillings and cleanings. My girlfriend and her mom had to have 5 fillings redone between the two of them because Saddleback does shoddy work. I’m shocked no one else has reported this issue.
I liked that they were extremely gentle while doing any kind of work and was totally satisfied with my own work here; I knew their prices were marked up 50% above market value.
They charge $ 250 per wisdom tooth extracted. The dental guidelines determined by the government are $ 125-​$ 150.
Fillings here are $ 75 each.
What is most shocking, obviously, are the bad fillings they did for my girl and her mom. Both were told at a different office that they MAY have to receive root canals if the decay from the botched fillings was too bad.
What is most important in ANY medical treatment is NOT customer service or location.
It is effective and proper treatment.
These people do incomplete and/​or incorrect work. Thus; ONE STAR FOR SADDLEBACK.

Got 4 non impacted wisdom teeth extracted here about 5 days ago. The experience was pleasant, and all the staff members were extra friendly and tried their best to make me feel comfortable and safe during a normally scary procedure. They took me in and gave me a Valium, and then gave me the laughing gas and I felt super funny, they were making jokes which made me feel even more at ease before going under anesthesia. When I woke up, I was crying with gratitude because I was just thankful to be alive and well taken care of! Everyone was just phenomenal and super nice, I couldn’t have asked for a better team of people to help me through my first surgery! Recovery has been painful but not as bad as I thought, and the post-​op care has been great as well. I’ve been back in once to have my wounds checked and the doctor was super friendly and helpful, answering my questions and giving me advice for healing. Also got a cleaning and cavities filled here while u was under for the extraction, and everything was just perfect! Recommend this place to anyone!

What an enjoyable experience all-​around! I switched doctors after feeling harassed every time I went to my old dentist to buy add-​ons, treatments, etc. so I gave Saddleback a try. The front staff was friendly, the patient coordinator was great, Dr. Garcia was awesome and accommodating and the hygienist was gentle but thorough, I actually really enjoyed the dentist. I especially liked not feeling hassled to start any unnecessary treatment and the doctor even suggested an alternative, cheaper solution to a small problem. Highly recommended.

After a mix up with a previous appointment, Dr. Garcia personally apologized and took care of the situation. As a patient, that was reassuring and really appreciated. The staff here are professional and seem to really care about their patients.

After struggling with a wisdom tooth for several days, I decided to call Saddleback Dentistry since they received great reviews and are close by. I was able to see a dentist within just an hour of calling. Their staff is absolutely amazing, very friendly, and accommodating. I met with Dr. Conkle, who pinpointed what was wrong and was able to setup an appointment to extract my wisdom tooth less than a week later. Dr. Conkle was very personable and reassuring throughout the entire procedure, as was his aid Ana. Truly the best (and most affordable) dental experience ever! I won’t be going anywhere else for future procedures!

I have severe anxiety and refuse to go to any other dental office EVER! Dr. Garcia and Dr. Conkle are the best dentists I have ever had and will only come to their office because they are so wonderful and awesome ! Claudia who is the office manager is AMAZING! She is so sweet and has always been able to get me in and seen as soon as possible, Long always works out my financial payments and explains everything thoroughly. I have had my deep cleaning, retainer, wisdom tooth removal and teeth whitening done here! There are so many dental offices out there but the quality of care, efficiency and cost is absolutely unbeatable! my mom loves Dr. Conkle and also see’s Dr. Garcia, my younger brothers come here and my husband has also been seen here. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Saddleback Dentistry !

My review of two (2) visits. I recently moved to the area and chose Saddleback Dentistry. It was time to have a wisdom tooth removed, but of course a consultation and cleaning were required first. Dr. Daniele Green performed the cleaning and the removal. She seemed frustrated often and used my chest as a table, placing the tools on my bib. That is unheard of and absolutely unacceptable! She left a tooth sealant from a cavity an odd texture (not smooth). When questioning mouth pieces, which was recommended, the cost was extremely high. I ended up using an online service, Pro Teeth Guard, and was very satisfied! Pro Teeth Guard offers replacements, warranties, and saves your mold, unlike Saddleback Dentistry. Lastly, the «numbers guy» who informs you of the suggested treatment plan, seemed to be hitting on me at each visit. I am a conservative female, so nothing suggestive on my part. This made me feel rather uncomfortable. After two visits, two chances, I will not return to Saddleback Dentistry. They still mail me letters stating that I have funds left to use for my «treatment plan»… They are money-​suckers.

I went under to get all four of my wisdom teeth out on Friday by Dr. Garcia. My consultation weeks before was fast, easy, and the staff was very helpful. On surgery day, the staff and doctors (Dr. Garcia, and the anesthesiologist) were so nice, and really made me feel at ease and comfortable. The healing on my left-​side was virtually painless, and the swelling was minimal. My right side, however, I’m thinking it must have been a more difficult extraction because there is a lot of pain and discomfort and swelling on that side. I think this is just the nature of having surgery so I’m putting arnica gel over the area, icing, and taking antibiotics and pain-​killers. I’m five days past the surgery, and I think in two to three more days I will 100% better. Not bad at all. Thank you Saddleback Dentistry for serving me, and my family.

I took advantage of their new patient special (as I was paying out of pocket) and I was very impressed with their service. This office is up to date with dental equipment– and I got a thorough cleaning.
The dentist took his time with my exam and reviewing my xrays, he even had a small camera to show me the area of my mouth he was referring to. He suggested a small procedure and showed my why he was suggesting it– without the sales pressure. The front staff was quick and efficient and the price that I was quoted was exactly what I paid when I came in to get the procedure.
I will be back.

Having been a loyal client to Dr. Garcia and his practice for the past 8 years it was extremely upsetting being told by the head of his billing department, Lan that he was the one that ultimately ran the practice and that my 5 year old’s teeth were permanent and that she needed oral surgery that required general anesthesia. Mind you Dr. Conkel had not mentioned this to me during the entire visit. When I asked to speak with Dr. Conkel, Lan became very argumentative and aggressive with his answer dismissing me by saying that he is a father and knew what I was going through but the sad reality is that these were indeed her permanent teeth. I expressed I was not satisfied with this answer and he advised he would follow up with Dr. Conkel and call me back as of today (2 weeks later) I have yet to receive the call back. Prior to my contact with Lan I never had any issues but that encounter along with Stephanie’s «customer service» she provides was enough for me to seek a second opinion. Thankfully I did so because I found not only a dentist targeted towards children but a dentist that takes the time to explain the situation rather than having their clerical staff do so. My negative review is not so much because of the dentist (even though they could stand to be more mindful of their customer) rather than their staff. Because of this they have lost my business and more than that they have lost my trust and loyalty. It’s a sad day when the dentist become so big they can’t spend proper time with their customer’s and aren’t aware of how unprofessional their staff is.

I really don’t understand the negative reviews in here! All I can gather is maybe they’re being written by their competitors (?) or they’re being confused with another practice.
I have been taking my family to Saddleback Dentistry since 1992 and they have been nothing less than amazing! We’ve had a few dental emergencies over the years and I was so impressed with the way they handled every one of them!
Especially the time when my son knocked out two teeth and splint his chin open to the bone, riding his bike home from school. I called them on my way to get my son and they advised I bring him there before getting the chin stitched up. They were so great! They cleaned up the chin wound, stopped the bleeding and bandaged it so proficiently that the doctor was even impressed when I took him for stitches (his scar is barely noticeable now). They put his teeth back in place and secured them so well and quickly that they healed completely and have never given him any trouble, even years later. There just isn’t enough space here to give all of the other examples of their exemplary work.
Not to mention, I have not been there once that I didn’t leave smiling. I feel like there must be a prerequisite to work there, something like, «must have a sunny disposition and great sense of humor»!!

Don’t go to Saddleback Dentistry. Several cavities and loose fillings went undetected. After xrays and an exam I was told all was fine. Went to another (reputable) dentist and discovered loose fillings, cavities and a couple of fractured teeth. Stay away from this group — bad, bad, bad.

I’ve been coming here on and off for about 20 years or a bit less and it’s been dependable through all the changes over the years. Unfortunately since the new office Manager Claudia has taken over the entire practice has changed. I’m sure some issues are due to the changes behind the patient scenes but. .a good manager doesn’t let it show to the clients. That comes down to connection and respect. The long-​term team is great and they should promote from within their team if possible. Delia was great and professional. She’d do better somewhere service and trust oriented. My rating of 4 goes to 2 and we may be making the decision to leave.

My family and I have been visiting Saddleback Dentistry for check-​ups and cleanings for years and there is a reason why we’ve stayed with them: excellent service and a top notch staff! I’ve been to a number of dental offices in Orange County but I always find myself coming back here. They do a great job here at Saddleback Dentistry and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

I don’t understand why they have poor reviews here, but I have been coming here for almost 4 years now and always receive great service. There was only one time they needed to reschedule my appointment, but that because I arrived 10 minutes late, and they were busy and could not give me another slot for my cleaning that day (so make sure you arrive there on time or early if possible!)
For dentist, I really like Dr. Garcia, he’s a real professional and always do his job efficiently. He would call the next day to check his work on your teeth. And I love the work of their hygienist too! I think the other staff are friendly and funny as well! Like the girl (is it Rosie?) who claimed to be professional at drawing something (i should have her add me :-/
