Great place with a lot of options. Both name brand and generic. Prices vary. But overall, knowledgable staff and very helpful. They give out great free samples too.

A friend of mine who is a fitness fanatic told me that this was the best place to go to buy my supplements. The person working there (Luke) was very knowledgeable & helpful. I thought the prices were very fair. I will definitely be buying my supplements here from now on. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking to increase their fitness/​health goals.

This place is amazing for anyone that wants in depth info on what you need to take first time I came here I met the owner and he literally told me he used to be like me skinny and trying to gain weight and he recommend me these supplements ensuring me that if I took it the right way like he did it that I would get results! I’ve tried going to other places but they just bump up the prices to much these people here keep it real with you and they have great prices and they work with you! Performance Nutrition Center is by far the best Health and Nutrition Store in Orange County! They are always welcoming no matter who you are when you enter their store. Unlike other Nutrition stores in the area, Performance Nutrition Center will never sway you to one brand over another. They will give you their honest opinion on what has worked best in their experience.
On top of their great customer service, their prices will beat anyone’s by a large margin.
I’ve only ordered my supplements online until experiencing outstanding service and support from Performance Nutrition Center.

These guys are awesome! Prices are extremely competitive and they are willing to answer all of my questions (believe me, I like to ask a lot). This place is too legit to quit! After I do my research online I come into the shop and ask the guy at the counter some more questions. I like buying from here versus amazon, don’t get me wrong I love me some amazon, but this prices are almost the same as amazon. And why not support your small business, people have bills to pay too!

Performance Nutrition Center has literally everything you could ever need! A knowledgeable manager and a wide variety of brand name proteins, vitamins and other supplements one would need for their specific health goals at great prices. Luc, the manager, has years of experience under his belt as a past competitive NPC body builder which translates to a complete understanding of each of his products. He is unbiased to brand names as his store does not have their own third party brand. Luc will respectfully recommend what he thinks is best for you based on your goals and if you are unsure, he will offer you a sample of the product (if available).
I finally have a (local) nutrition store where I can purchase all my supplements and vitamins all at once at an online price! As a current NPC men’s physique competitor, I can greatly appreciate the personable, non-​demeaning customer service, knowledge of supplementation, convenience and savings Luc offers. I strongly recommend Performance Nutrition Center as your go-​to nutrition store!

This is a great little store with a very nice selection of of products at very competitive prices. Luke is knowledgeable and very helpful. I went in looking for Musclepharm products and they had them for less than Costco’s pricing. I ended up buying the protein powder I was looking for and an additional recovery supplement Luke recommended I try. I will definitely be back again! Highly recommended!!!

Let me start off by saying I am an avid online shopper, however when it comes to supplements and knowledge. This is where I go! The best prices around, always give some extra goodies with the purchase, takes care of Veterans, friendly staff and always have the best products! Highly recommended this nutrition shop, it’s like GNC but actually good! Luke is a hell of a guy always willing to help you out and help you choose the right products. Xcel lineup is amazing and they have a great selection! STOP reading this head on over and get some gainz!

I have been getting my supplements here for years and there is no place in the area that compares for variety of products or knowledge of the staff. I know if I have a question about a product that the staff is qualified and knowledgeable enough to steer me in the right direction.

Haven’t been here in over a year and tried going the other day to re-​stock. I was very sad to see they were gone. I remembered their website cause it was a really simple domain name and checked it out. I am so happy to know they just moved up the street and changed their name to Performance Nutrition Center (Laguna Hills). These guys are awesome and I get to support local non-​corporate business. My husband’s hunt for a weight gainer protein powder lead us from Unilocal to this little shop and we were pleasantly surprised! After reading other good reviews and price checking, we headed over there one Tuesday morning.
You may think you know this portion of Laguna Hills…
You may have very well lived here all your life and know it like the back of your hand…
but low and behold, you probably can’t find this place without your GPS… like me.
I thought it was in the same shopping center as Trader Joe’s and that they some how went under like other businesses have a tendency to do in this area of the city but in reality, after a humbling call to the store asking for directions, I found they are thriving in the TINY little row of shops opposite In-​N-​Out. DOH!
Once we arrived we weren’t overwhelmed by the amount of choice but I would say there were about 20 different protein powders to choose from in many flavors beyond the standard chocolate, vanilla, strawberry which I appreciated immensely. The store is about the size of your living room with shelves rising almost to the ceiling and 1 – 2 employees to help you navigate.
While hubs was looking through the gobbleygook of ingredients on the back of a box and weighing out his options in the protein section, we were approached by a brand rep offering to help. When we told him we were looking for a weight gainer protein powder, he (nicely) segued into his spiel about the natural sugars and etc low carb benefits in the one he was flogging… He was nice and not overbearing but we were in for weight gainer so we took the food for thought and moved on.
Hubs found one he liked, the price was the cheapest he’d seen online (amazon included!) or in stores (GNC, Vitamin Shoppee, etc) so he grabbed it and we went to the vitamin aisle where he picked up his «ANIMAL» pills… lol, oh how my hubs makes me laugh.
The only other person in the store was the cashier and he was also very nice and knowledgeable. When he saw what we were buying, he recommended some other products to us to accompany and work well with what we were already purchasing and judging by the size of his build, he looked like someone we could trust. ;)
He rang us up and included some free samples of other protein powders to try and we were on our way.
A small, personable shop with great pricing and good selection…

I walked in here on a whim to see what kind of creatine they carry. Luckily, I wasn’t in much of a time crunch because I ended up in a lengthy discussion about the effects of creatine monohydrate, ethel-​ester, krealkalyn, creatine phosphate and blah blah blah. In the end, I felt like my brain was about to explode with information overload, but I’m still glad I came in. Needless to say, I left carrying a tub of creatine.
Overall, the selection lacks a bit, but what they do carry, they believe in 100%, which I can respect. I wish they carried RTDs (ready-​to-​drink).
