R3 Entertainment & DJ Randy

We had a very positive experience with Randy and his staff at our wedding (end of April, 2016 in Jamul, CA). Great attitudes, professional, pretty much everything you would want to take care of you on an important day. Based on my experience, you’d have no issues and would rest assured that you’re in good hands if you went with them for your event.

Randy was our DJ and did not disappoint. We literally had our wedding during the remnants of Hurricane Delores in San Diego. I think the only day it rained in SD in years (joking) but in all honesty we were slated to marry outdoors and Randy took over as coordinator. They Music was phenomenal, the intro the lead in. The end. Everything was flawless. We haven’t gotten our pictures or video yet as we bought the package but the man who ran the show was Randy and he went above and beyond to make out entire wedding party feel amazing. Our reception made the entire day amazing. Thank you again!

R3 Entertainment did a stellar job at my daughter’s Sweet 16 celebration!
Randy came to my home to get a feel of the layout of our yard and offered many helpful suggestions. The music made the party and everyone had a blast! We also included the photo booth which turned out to be a wonderful keepsake for my daughter with photos of her guests all housed in an album. Very reasonably priced and professional. Thanks again Randy to you and your amazing staff!

We hired R3 Entertainment as the DJ, photographer, and videographer at our wedding. All three aspects were PHENOMENAL! Randy is extremely good at what he does and has hired some very good people to work with him. He kept the night flowing very smoothly and was always more than willing to make changes and help me when asked/​needed.
Randy did a great job of playing the songs I had sent him. I also loved that he asked for a ‘blacklist’ of songs, so I didn’t have to hear anything that I don’t like.
I didn’t actually meet the photographer until the day of the wedding, but Katy was great! We got married in a backyard and she really worked with the space she had. I really liked her ideas and how she positioned us in different ways. Our pictures came out great! I also ABSOLUTELY LOVE that a DVD of our pictures was included with the package. Photographers typically charge too much for that aspect.
I haven’t seen the videography portion yet, but I know it is going to be great! In addition to the professional videographer, Randy walked around while songs were playing and took videos with his phone. The compilation he sent to us just off of his phone made my mom, one of my bridesmaids, and myself tear up! He even paid attention to the details enough to put a song that I had told him I LOVE as the background music.
Randy’s pricing is also very reasonable. For how great of a job they do, they are worth every penny! A huge deciding factor in me hiring them was the packaged deal. I would not have had such a great wedding and pictures/​videos to remember it by if it weren’t for packaging all three of these vendors together!
A funny thing that happened… I stepped on glass and cut my foot. After walking all the way around the concrete in the backyard, Randy walked up to me and told me to sit down. I was having such a great time that adrenaline was definitely flowing… I looked at him like he was crazy and said ‘No, I’m good :)” Then, he looked at me and said «I’ve been following you cleaning up your blood trail! That’s not typically a DJ function.» It was way funnier in person, but how unbelievably sweet of him to do that! He could have walked away and gone back to playing songs, but he was there all night to make it the best it could be!
The only small bit of criticism I would give is regarding the response time (only sometimes), but honestly, the execution the day of more than makes it worth it all!
One of my friends is getting married next year, and I am already pushing her to use Randy and his team! Highly recommended!

Randy was a consummate professional throughout our entire wedding planning process. I was actually referred to him by a good friend of mine, and he more than proved his value! Randy is definitely a veteran wedding coordinator and planner that helped bring my vision to life, and I would’ve been lost without him. His ability to continually keep the wedding flowing, ensure both me, my husband and our family/​friends were all taken care of, and keep all our vendors on track during our wedding was absolutely impeccable. His brother was actually our DJ as well and did a great job of keeping the party going from the moment we entered the venue until the very last song. I would highly recommend that any of my friends or family consider R3 Entertainment for their wedding or event and would use their services again in a heart beat. :)

Randy was the man! It is almost hard to put into words how I feel about Randy, and the services that R3 Entertainment provided for my wedding. R3 provided the photographer as well as the video and the DJ which was Randy. Everything was flawless with their services, as they made sure to cater to my wife and I during the entire wedding. Randy was the captain of it all and made sure we were the happiest people in the room. His DJ services were great, from the high quality sound system, to the up lighting, to the outdoor sound system for our wedding ceremony. Not to mention he has every song ever made! Probably not literally, but when we requested a song it was never a problem, he had it cued up and ready to play right away. His coordination of the event amazed us as well, as he kept the wedding on schedule and helped walk my wife and I through any part of the reception we were un-​sure about. The photographer had great ideas for our poses and she was able to take charge and keep our photo session on schedule so we could maximize the time scheduled and get as many photos as possible. The videographer was energetic and flexible with his shots, and made sure he was where we wanted him during the important parts of the night. My entire family came up to me after the wedding and said it was the best wedding they had ever been to because the energy never died, and I contribute all of that to Randy and the people at R3 Entertainment! My wife and I are still excited about the energy Randy brought to dances like the Cupid Shuffle. He did a little play by play on which direction to turn and what to do, and it allowed people who don’t know the dance to get involved and enjoy the dances as well! Experience, professionalism, and excellent service are things you can’t put a price on! Randy, and R3 Entertainment get my highest recommendation!

Randy DJ’d our 5^th Grade Promotion Party and was AWESOME!!! He somehow kept 100 kids engaged and entertained with appropriate music, games and fun dances. I can’t recommend him enough!

Randy is amazing! He has a was to make you feel completely comfortable and confident in his services. He is extremely professional and thinks of everything. I will definitely use his services again and recommend him to all of my friends.

This guy is the bomb! He is a super good dj and is really flexible. He will play any song you request and is really good at getting the mood of the party flowing.
He gets your feet moving out on the dance floor and helps you really feel the music. I literally couldn’t stop dancing!

DJ Randy and his guys made my brothers wedding reception super memorable. No agenda of his own, just there to please. Plays great music. Very personable and likeable but never over bearing or overly talkative on the mic.
His music library is top shelf and anything you request he is willing to play. Totally understands the flow as well. Started things off with classic wedding reception music and as the night continued and the crowd got younger so did the music.
Highly recommend using him as he is very easy to work, is reasonably priced and puts on a great show.

I was in the bridal party that DJ Randy was hired for and I have to say he was above and beyond amazing. He was on top of every little detail from making sure every person was having a great time when they needed to be and stress free to making sure we were where we needed to be when the time came, he was on the spot to find lost items and their rightful owners and didn’t want us to worry about one single thing except for being there for the bride and groom. A true professional and personable person. A million stars to you Randy :)

I used R3 for for all 3 of my wedding day services — dj, videography, and photography. I couldn’t be more happy with my choice! From the get go, Randy was so responsive with any of my questions via email and phone. He is so professional and made me feel so comfortable. Many times throughout my wedding day, I started to stress out and Randy was right there to ensure that everything would be fine. His work and his team’s work played an important role in making my wedding day perfect. :) I will definitely be recommending R3 to any of my friends that will be gettting married in the future!

We used DJ Randy for our wedding through The Abbey. He was amazing! We had one small hang up over a dance (totally our fault) and he moved through it flawlessly. The music was great, he kept the crowd dancing with no weird pressure. I’d recommend him to anyone!

My husband and I were thrilled (ecstatic actually) that Randy made himself available to DJ our reception. I heard great things about him personally and glad that it worked out. We really wanted the night to be fun for our family and friends. It turned out perfect! From start to finish Randy was awesome assisting in the planning process and he helped out with his expert tips. The music was on point with our style and we danced the entire time! Thanks to R3 Entertainment and DJ Randy for getting the party started… I don’t think some of the guests wanted to leave the dance floor!

My husband and I used R3 Entertainment for our wedding in La Jolla at the Cuvier Club. Randy was our DJ and was worth every single penny. He kept competitive pricing, and truly over delivered. Randy is very personable and caught the vision of our wedding really quickly. He was willing to make our event exactly what we wanted. He was timely, organized, and kind. He was a great director for our planning meeting with all my vendors, walking us through our reception schedule, and the day of the wedding he was a «cool calm» individual to be around and organize the wedding party for our «grand entrance». Periodically during the wedding he would come check on my husband and I to make sure he was meeting our needs and inform us of slight changes. He got he crowd going! We had 300 people at our wedding and probably 250 got on the dance floor. It rocked! I would totally recommend Randy and R3 to another bride and will definitely use them for future events.

Randy has done 2 events for me. He was hired for our school’s Halloween Carnival and was GREAT! He kept the evening moving with PERFECT songs for the event, a great and FUN personality and was willing to announce anything we needed of him. He became the party and made the evening SO much MORE fun!
I also worked with Randy at my church carnival. Again he picked the perfect songs for the evening. He even dressed up for the event as did his crew. He is extremely professional and VERY pleasant to work with. I have recommended Randy to several of my friends. We have ALREADY scheduled him for future events. You won’t go wrong with this DJ!

My husband found DJ Randy and I am so thankful he did. We had a very short engagement and finding a DJ can be a bit of a nightmare. So many individuals advertise that they are classy and experienced. Not only did DJ Randy exceed our expectations, but he was hired and booked in short notice! We were only engaged for six weeks, and I think we finally started thinking about music with only 2 weeks before the wedding! Luckily, DJ Randy was available. He was affordable, and on top of that, he sent us a list of what we were looking to have played, so that he really could choose the best songs for our special day. Randy really took a hold of the party and was able to have everything flow very smoothly. I had several compliments during and after the wedding. In fact, a friend of mine who attended and is getting married in the fall requested DJ Randy’s information!
