What can I say about my business partner Jimmy … Jimmy is by far the best mover in the industry. I say this because in 24 years I still yet see anyone as fast and efficient as well as skillful knowledgeable in all aspects of moving. From pianos to hoisting to loading or just simply moving your possessions. At age 5 he was golden gloves winner in boxing. In high school he came out in news papers for his achievements in playing football for his school. Jimmy is a great friend who is nothing but honest hard working and a loving family man … As so am I… Jimmy and myself have known each other for over 35 years. He’s a great business partner and a true friend … Together we are Knockout Moving…

DON’T DO IT! I scheduled a move with Knockout 5 weeks prior, «Jimmy» calls me ON THE DAY OF THE MOVE, rambling, says his wife lost his car keys… then says he can’t find my apartment. Then just stops returning my calls. Totally flakes out on me and NEVER SHOWED UP. Guess he went onto his next move job. Totally screwed me over and didn’t even apologize for it. These guys suck.

Wow, I have had better service hiring college kids, and at least they wouldn’t try to rip me off either! Jim and Doug were scheduled to arrive at 1pm at my storage unit, called at 12:30 saying they would be late by about 30 minutes, but then didn’t arrive till 2:10. Doug was very pleasant and sweet, but Jim was just awful. He was throwing boxes into the truck and dropping them on top of one another. Then after we get to my apartment to unload everything, he tells me «It’s gonna be over 2 hours» and then leaves my buckets on the side of the hill so they tip over and all my pictures and files scatter over the yard. I tried to confirm what time they had arrived to know where we stood on time, and he tried to tell me 1:30. When I corrected him saying he definitely didn’t arrive till after 2, he replied «I’m not arguing with you» and brushed me off. And this is what I was paying $ 200 for?! Then, he started to argue with me on the amount. I was told $ 140 for 2 guys for 2 hours, then Jim says «No, that’s 158.» When I say I was told otherwise, he just keeps saying «I’m wrong».
Bottom line, I have never been so disrespected, my stuff handled so poorly, and paid so much for such bad service in my life! Never ever EVER will I use these people again, and I’d suggest you do the same and look somewhere else.

I give these guys 0 stars. If I could give them a negative star I would. First, I will say that they were very helpful and quick about loading what we needed loaded. However, this is where the problem began. We hired them specifically to load our furniture. Since they are a moving company we figured they could do this without damaging our things and if they did we could make a claim for the damage. When we arrived to our new location and unloaded the truck we found that our furniture had been damaged. The legs on our dresser were dented where they had rested it against the ground and every surface of our bed had large scratches on it. Obviously we were not happy. This was a very expensive bedroom set and now it looks like crap!
Now I have moved many times. I was in the Navy for the better part of two decades. When I had moved previously, any damage or broken items, I just made a claim and was reimbursed for the damages. So I tried calling Knockout movers several times with no answer. I have left messages with no return calls. I sent a message through this site that went unanswered. Right before leaving this review I tried calling once again and this time the number rings and then goes to a busy signal. When I tried to leave another message on here, there is a notification that the business has not be checking their messages. Really?!?
So the moral of this story is, if you care about your stuff, do not use these guys.

We used these guys to move into a condo in a three story building. I have some very heavy furniture and a Ca King bed. I didn’t know how they were going to do it but they did. We went over an hour on the two hour appointment but paid them additional money. They were awesome!!! I recommend them to anyone I know that is moving. They were professional, quick and efficient.

I found Knockout Moving on the UHaul site. Anthony and his guys did a great job packing up and loading the truck. Anthony called me numerous times beforehand and was very professional. He keep me posted throughout my move. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks!

Like another poster said, Jimmy and Doug were fantastic. My wife, a friend and I packed up my house into storage, took us 9+ hours, 2 24′ Uhaul trucks, and a pickup. They did it in 4.5 hours (with a longer commute), and packed everything into 1 26′ uhaul. I was hesitant to hire a «by the hour» mover, but those guys moved so fast I wanted to tell them to slow down so they wouldn’t faint!
They called the night I made the reservation, the night before the move, and called when they were on the way.
Rent a uhaul and have them come, it will cost ¼ the price of a moving company. I will definitely be contacting them for all my moving needs.

Jimmy & Doug are A-​M-​A-​Z-​I-​N-​G!!!
We have a company office move today with lots of heavy inventory shelves, office furniture, and computers.
At first, I was slightly intimidated by their intensity but boy they are focused and fast and professional.
An employee researched them through Uhaul’s website and read all the positive reviews.
We booked them for only 4 hours but we need them all day and they aren’t slowing down after the first load.
I am very very impressed. These guys deserve the rave reviews and they deserve your business. Hard working guys, funny, and we are happy to work with them!!!
FYI — renting a Uhaul and then hiring these guys is 1000 times cheaper than hiring a professional moving company. Save money and book Knockout Moving! Ask for Jimmy & Doug!

Wow! I saved a bundle renting my own UHAUL and hiring Knockout Moving! These guys moved everything in 5 hours, without stopping. They had all their own equipment and moved everything with great care. I will use them again in a heart beat!

WOW! Anthony and Jimmy were excellent! I called them only inquiring about moving my piano since I had friends and family available to help with the other stuff. Turns out that the Knockout guys have the same flat rate for moving. Period.
They ended up moving my entire one bedroom apartment, including the piano, into an upstairs unit on the hottest freaking day of the year (105+)! These guys were awesome and took such great care of my stuff. They asked me where everything should be placed AND they even set up my bed (totally unnecessary and shocking they just did it).
I will definitely call Anthony and Jimmy next time I move and I will certainly recommend them to everyone I know. Their communication was clear, concise, and they followed through with everything we agreed upon. Very impressed!
