The main idea of Marketplace Grille is to provide healthy, tasty and fresh food. We cook all of our meats on skewers, chicken, beef, salmon, filet mignon, and shrimp over charcoal mesquite fire and all of our salads, appetizers hummous, babaghanoush, tabouleh, shirazi, soups and rices are prepared daily at each of our 2 locations. We take great pride in providing fresh and healthy food and we always strive for providing the best service possible. Our goal is to make sure that every customer feel at home, and knowing that we are helping maintaining a healthy lifestyle is what Marketplace Grille is all about. We love to get to know «you», and serve your favorite food the way you like it!
History
Established in 1985.
Tony and Mehran, the owners of Marketplace Grille, were room mates and looking for an opportunity to be in their own business. With Tony’s background and education in the food industry and Mehran’s background and education in Managing, the combination of the two was a great match! They found a little place called Marketplace Grille in La Jolla and took it to the next level, added new items to the menu, a new look and some new fresh ideas, and made it a success story with now 2 locations.
