So initial check in went well, we got in the room and asked for extra blankets. It was me my sister and three young kids. Took them for ever. Then we went to take showers and noticed the mold growing on the walls. When we asked if we could get more towels she said they only give two towels per day. The place has a funny mildew smell. This is most definitely not a 3 star hotel.

It was looking futuristic as hell what with the exceptional electronic key situation and the Chinese theme, sort of like a post apocalyptic sci-fi place. You’re thinking, «this guy is a total asshole then, one star? I would love to get some dystopian near future shit up in my face.» Yeah, well, I think they may have hit closer to what a REAL dystopian society would be like, complete with a 13th century cannon in the lobby, a microwave shared by the entire hotel, and a restaurant frighteningly located in the basement. I found burned glass in my bedroom and my sock was dragged off my foot by a sticky substance as I made my way to the bathroom, which was covered by haunting rose covered wallpaper.

This hotel is awesome. The staff are sweet and very accommodating. The room we got was spacious and the bathroom was huge. The décor is great. It’s kind of a fancy 70s in the room and the common areas have very interesting furniture. It’s a deceptively large hotel with many features and alcoves. A fun hotel to stay in!

I stayed here for one night and had a very positive experience. The hotel was nice and quite which led to a very relaxing stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The attached restaurant and amenities make this a unique stay. The library/sitting area was a nice quite place to read and relax. The restaurant has great food to bring back to your room. The hotels unique layout and décor is also a treat!

NONONO This place stinks(litererlay) service is absolutely atrocious. I asked one of the house keepers multiple times for room service and every time nothing. When I asked front desk same thing the lady looked at me like I had 2 heads. Finally when she came to clean the room. I went to one of the lounge areas. She came to me twice to complain 1st was to ask why the window was open. Told her cause it stinks and I like fresh air. She told me it’s not supposed to be open. I mean really¿¿ I should of said cause it opens and I want it open. 2nd after waiting half hour go her to clean she comes again and asked if i wanted the whole room cleaned. OMG I will never stay here again. I give them 1 star only cause I have to.

I will never stay in this hotel again. Worst visit ever there was ants and spiders in my room, and they change 150 $ a night and the pool is broken that I got woke up by them pounding on the walls at 8am cause they thought it was a good idea to remodel while people r sleeping. Then I was told I couldn’t leave my room till they r done or I could leave and not come back till they r done. Nope not happy. I would rather go stay at A cheap hotel then come here again.

From my first contact with Mawg(front desk supervisor), the customer service has been exceptional. We had an unusual situation which they accommodated well. Our ice hockey team needed 11 rooms if we won our playoff game and got to advance. But we wouldn’t know until 8pm the night we needed to descend on them. No problem, Mawg gave us a group rate, checked previous weekend occupancy and said more than likely they could do it, and took my contact information for her quote box. When we won our game(after a 12-round sudden death shoot-out!) I called and spoke with Benjamin, who happened to be new on the job. No problem, he handled it like a pro, took our room requests despite all the noise, and called Mawg to double-check that he did everything correctly. When we arrived, we were greeted with exuberance and high-fives. The hotel is clean, has a great little breakfast bar complete with waffles, and the rooms were very spacious. The location right by Totem Lake is beautiful. Denny’s is around the corner should you need a full breakfast while their café is being remodeled. For the price, you can’t beat this hotel and it’s friendly staff. Thank you! GOWARRIORS!

For the price this place is a gem. Clean rooms, friendly staff, new flat screen TV’s. There’s a restaurant on the lower level selling«healthy» Chinese American food and vitamins — interesting combo. I had Chicken in Spicy Garlic Sauce. It was very good at $ 8.95. A bit oily. The hotel itself is tucked away behind a strip mall and pawn shop, but it’s close to a Evergreen Health and close to some good restaurants. Check out Wing’in it BBQ and Flycaster Brewing when you’re in the area.
