I had terrible upper back pain that had me getting massages 1 – 2 times a week just to dull the pain! I tried physical therapy and it didn’t help! I met Dr. Angela at a martial arts tournament and was hesitant to try it, but at this point I was desperate! So glad I came in! I still get back pains, but they are not nearly as bad! Dr. Angela is helping me get my back and neck back to better health! I highly recommend it!

I didn’t buy into the pressure tactics and was immediately uncomfortable with it. But I thought I would give it a chance even though my gut feeling wasn’t good… they deserve a chance, right?! Anyway, my back got much worse and I ended up in urgent care for pain killers and anti-​inflammatories. It was incredibly painful — I could not walk, sit or do anything without piercing pain.
Perhaps it works for some people but definitely not me…
Be cautious and do your research. Maybe I’m an isolated case but wanted to share my experience just in case…

As a massage therapist, I spend all day working on others. Dr Angela is who works on me! She always knows what to do and I trust her completely. Dr A keeps me tuned-​up so that I can treat my clients and stay healthy. I highly recommend Dr Angela!

I have known Dr. Angela for about 6 or 7 years. She is a spitfire. Here knowledge and her personality combine to create one pretty terrific practitioner. She loves physical activity in her private life and she wants her clients to enjoy a great quality of life. That means she wants to get their range of motion back to norm, she wants the aches and pains to be relieved and she wants them to go out and conquer the day.

How often do you get headaches? If the answer is more than 1 a month, then go see Dr. Angela! She is nothing short of amazing, and the customer service of the whole place is top-​notch!

I have a pretty erratic work/​life schedule so it was hard for me to get in initially but when I did I went and saw Mo (Maureen). She is AMAZING. And she really know’s her stuff. I tell her what hurts, what I have been doing and she takes care of it.
I highly recommend her if you need deep tissue massage and/​or are an athletic person who gets sore from workouts. She will do wonders!

I’ll be the first to admit it. I thought Chiro care was a huuuge scam. And i’ve seen a few and talked to many in my days. But i can tell you on my life that I totally believe in Dr. Angela and anyone at KLC. They dont just do the crack crack break your back stuff and send you on your way. They actually listen to what is going on with you. They educate you on why that is. They listen to your concerns and find the best way to get you fixed up and on your way. I don’t like having my back or neck cracked at all so Dr. A. worked on me with other ways and even though it took a little longer she made sure I felt comfortable and respected my wishes. Because of her my neck and back are no longer in pain and there is no stabbing sensation.

Dr Angela is an amazing chiropractor. As a physician myself I not only trust her with my neck and back I trust her with my patients. She is skilled, thorough, knowledgeable, trustworthy, kind and has a great support staff. Highly recommended!

Dr Angela is the best, she has repeatedly put my back, back together whether it was from car accidents to all my years of football she is the one I truly trust to get me back on the field.

This review is for their massage services– have had the best massages ever with Jacquie when she was working here; she had amazing technique, super friendly and professional, and their rates are fair (but not inexpensive). I recently went in to have a deep tissue session with Briggita and she was incredible! Amazing sense of service, the right pressure and techniques, and she was very thorough. What a score. It’s always a win when you find a great masseuse.

Having had back problems for 15+ years that have only worsened since having a baby, I’ve had more than my fair share of chiropractic visits.
I made an appointment at Kirkland Life Chiropractic accidentally — I thought I was calling a different office in Kirkland, but they sounded so kid-​friendly, I decided to stick with them.
And they are SUPER kid-​friendly. I usually have to schedule any appointments I make around babysitters, but I decided to see how it would really work if I took my 15 month old son with me, since they said it was ok. Everyone there was really warm, payed lots of attention to my son and happily looked after him for a few minutes while I went off to get x-​rayed. Even the room I was in was kid-​friendly. I chased after my son as he opened a couple cabinet doors and tried to pull things out and Dr Heisler told me not to worry about it, there was nothing in there that he could mess up. I just found this aspect of their office to be a huge relief and REALLY convenient.
Ok, but how are their services? I’ve only had a few visits thus far, but I was really happy with the initial visit. (I go back again tomorrow.) It seems my last couple chiropractic visits have gotten more and more in-​depth (I used to just go get adjustments, then I had a chiro in Santa Monica who did a full on assessment of my back, while I was pregnant, and I learned a couple things I’d never known before (curvature and other weirdness). Then at this office, they assessed and also did x-​rays, which I hadn’t had done before. I have high hopes that they’ll be able to get me fixed up, once and for all, and I might actually be able to lay or sleep on my back again without waking up in searing pain, and that all my mysterious neck pain that comes and goes will ease up. I’ve lived with it all for so long, it’s hard to imagine it all actually going away completely, so we’ll see!
Edit: I went for about two weeks but eventually stopped and have since sought out another chiropractor. I realized I wasn’t eager to return to Kirkland life. I had some acupuncture done on my lower back (cupping) and no exaggeration — it completely released my lower back and I have had about a 90% improvement for months, now. Which kind of backs up the voice in my head that really thought all the x rays and traction weren’t right. As I’ve found a new chiro now, that I LOVE (for upper back and neck issues), I realize that I prefer the more «old school» hands on approach. The xrays and machines just felt like overkill. And I REALLY REALLY REALLY HATED the dogmatic approach of Kirkland Life —
It was annoying that I had to read pamphlets every week & then got «quizzed» on them (Just a couple of questions asked about what I read.) It’s not a huge deal but the information feels a bit like propaganda to me — it’s not so much information about the physiology of the spine and things that might be useful, but «information» that repeats the mantra that your spinal health is EVERYTHING. It would pretty much lead you to believe that if you don’t see a chiropractor, you are destined to die of heart disease or cancer. I’m a big advocate of natural health — we never have processed foods in the house, I cook all the time and do 90% of my shopping at Farmer’s Markets, my doctor & ob/​gyn plus my son’s pediatrician is a naturopath, and I never take prescription medications — I rely on natural methods for headaches, colds, etc. And even *I* found all the information a little annoying.
As one other reviewer mentioned, there’s also a one hour and 45 minute class that they want you to attend. I didn’t want to, plus asking me to commit an hour and 45 minutes of one of my evenings is actually asking a lot and wasn’t easy for me to schedule. I just kept refusing and saying I couldn’t squeeze it in.
So, just be prepared. I think better care can be found elsewhere, without all the pressure.

I was going to another chiropractor’s office for awhile without seeing any major improvements. Then, I switched to KLC. I really love their holistic approach to health and well-​being. All the staff and chiropractors are warm, approachable, and absolutely no BS. They are 100% committed to your well-​being and take great pleasure in helping you heal.
I have a super active life (soccer, yoga, tennis, skiing, workout, etc.). Without KLC’s help, I don’t think I could do all the things I enjoy doing without feeling some kind of major pains or strains.
I used to get tension headaches from tight neck and shoulders. I’m happy to say that I don’t get those anymore.
I know chiropractic is not for everyone, and this office is certainly not the only place you can or should get treatment at. However, I’d highly recommend KLC if you have some nagging pains and you happen to work or live close by the office.

I have been to other doctors and I still had no clue what the plan was or why I was experiencing pain. I just lived with the pain. After seeing Dr. Angela, she was able educate me. Explained why I was experiencing the headaches and where the pain was coming from. I would recommend seeing her or anyone at Kirkland Life Chiropractic.

I have lukewarm feelings toward this chiropractic center. They made me attend a education seminar one evening, which was a total waste of time. Basically, saying that chiropractors can cure anything, which I don’t believe. They also wanted me to come 3x a week or more, which is just too much to me. The adjustments were a little rough for me, but I am pretty much a delicate person so take that with a grain of salt. I ended up leaving because I was experiencing some restless leg issues at night which I think had something to do with my treatment.
