LeLuxe Photography and Events is more than just a bunch of photographers. We specialize in all types of portrait and event photography, and we can help in the planning stages of your event as well. We consist of a team of professionalswhose aim is to have your event run smoothly from beginning to end. We can be involved in your special day in many different capacities, from being the photographer in the background, to the event coordinators.

Lena and Kyle did a great job taking our family photos! They did a great job managing 14 people — including 8 kids! The beach they chose was perfect and we had a great time! I would definitely recommend them to help you capture memories. They were easy to work with during all phases — before, during and after. I really appreciated Kyle’s efforts to go above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied with our experience. Thanks again — see you next time we come to Maui :)

Loved the photos from our ceremony! They did such a great job– and I really appreciated them working within our tight budget. Kyle did a very good job keeping in touch with us beforehand, and they were both super fun to work with during the ceremony and our photo-​shoot. Downloading pictures from their website afterwards was easy. Overall, I feel this team is a very good value in Maui for ceremony or other photos. I would recommend taking them up on whatever recommendations they make regarding locations/​poses etc. The small tips they made resulted in really wonderful photos!

I always use Unilocal,but never make an effort to write an actual review — up until I met Lena & Kyle who are the epitome of amazing service deserving of an outstanding review.
My fiancé & I hired Lena & Kyle to do our engagement/​pre-​nuptials shoot. I spoke to Kyle several times before we arrived and he was so knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. A few days before we arrived, I reached out to express my concern about some potential hurricanes that were coming through and he gave us confidence that everything would be fine — which it was!
I brought a bunch of props with no sense on what I actually wanted to do with them. Lena has an amazing eye and knew exactly how to direct every single aspect of the photograph. Her instruction was so easy and she made us feel so comfortable. Her and Kyle went above and beyond to get the best shots, often getting covered in sand and even partially submerging in the water with us.
My parents tagged along just to watch and they threw in some pictures of them. They took the most adorable pictures of my parents. Lena even got a picture of my mom sticking her tongue out at my dad — old people are so cute haha :)
We received the proofs a few days after and just being able to see them was the highlight of the trip.
As soon as I start poppin’ out some babies, I’ll definitely come running back to them for some family photos! haha

My husband and my little 18-​month old boy visited Maui for the first time this year. The Photoshoot was one of the highlights of our trip!
The planning stages of our Photoshoot narrowed it down to two Maui photographers. I did extensive research, read various reviews, looked at online portfolios, browsed through the photographer bios, and spoke to the photographers or reps by phone.
I decided to go with LeLuxe Hawaiian Photography because I had a good feeling after speaking to Kyle on the telephone. They provided more bang for our buck! Best value I’ve found without short-​changing quality.
They are a husband and wife team: Kyle handles the pre-​photography planning, PR, and such… while Lena handles the photography, creativity, and editing. I LOVED working with this team!
Prior to actual face-​to-​face meeting, I’ve already felt very at ease handling business and planning with Kyle. He was easy to get in touch with and he was prompt at returning phone calls and emails.
Lena is very passionate about getting the best shot of the models. She isn’t afraid to get down-​low on the sand to capture a picture perfect shot. Really, she was literally on her belly at one point while she was clicking away with the camera.
They came prepared with everything we needed for this Hawaiian beach Photoshoot. They brought chilled bottled water for refreshment, room temp bottled water for cleaning up our little boys sandy feet, toys to keep our little boy happy, face wipes to wipe away our sweat… and they brought patience! Lena had her creative game face on, and Kyle brought his interpersonal skills to keep everyone happy! They are genuine individuals who are passionate about their craft. They care for their clients, and the way they handle business is proof of their authentic care.
Just received our online proofs… and we are very satisfied. We are blessed to have met this team at LeLuxe Hawaiian Photography. If you are searching for a Maui photographer, you need not look any further. Give Kyle a call, discuss with him your thoughts, sleep it over, and pay your deposit to hold your appointment date!

So we met the photographers and they were great. We have twins 5 years old and they were so great with the kids (amazing) I have done so many family photo sessions and I feel this went great. We have not seen photos yet but I am sure (I hope) that are great as well

Lena and Kyle are amazing people with an immense amount of talent! The did our wedding in July and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The pictures and videos were amazing! Lena is a talented and gifted photographer with a great eye. She goes the extra mile to get the best shots. Kyle was a pleasure to deal with when coordinating everything. He did all of the planning and prepping. We just had to show up! They have a real passion for what they do and they go the extra mile. The entire experience– the coordinating, the wedding day, the pictures, the videos– it all exceeded my expectations!

Lena and Kyle are so kind, flexible, and professional. We were there on a family vacation and had to take family photos. They were able to switch some dates around so we could make a tour. They provided water, props, blotting tissues and poses. They are fast and efficient. Kyle helped getting my 2 year old son’s attention and making him laugh. They shoot at the best locations on Maui! Lena & Kyle are a dream to work with and their photos are exquisite! We had been planning a big wedding at home in California, but we decided to elope in Maui instead. We did not want to sacrifice great pictures, especially since our family would want to see everything when we got back. We talked to them twice on the phone and exchanged emails — this team was very responsive. They even recommended a better beach for our ceremony — we’re glad we took their advice since we had the beach to ourselves and the view was breathtaking! They were very quick getting the digital pictures to us — we were married on 12⁄10 and we had our photos in time to create and send out beautiful Christmas cards.
I want to also mention that they are fun to work with and they kept us calm and relaxed — we were extremely nervous, so we could have ended up with a collection of very stiff photos, but they were all beautiful. They captured moments that we never would have expected — simply wonderful!

My husband and I chose Lena and Kyle to shoot our wedding photos. We had a wedding (with just us two) at Makena Cove in September. From the beginning, they were both so responsive and accommodating to our requests. The day of the ceremony, they were there earlier than us, with all of there great equipment. Lena gave us awesome suggestions on poses for our pictures, and they turned out awesome. The couple works together to get several different angles and shots. The turn around time was great too, only 2 days and we had our pictures! We really loved this couple and appreciate their hard work and sweet personalities!!! Will definitely use them again!

Lena and Kyle were great. We hired them to take some family photos in West Maui and they delivered. Very professional, had some great ideas, and were open to our ideas as well. I really appreciate that they took their time with us and our young children to look for shots that would represent a more natural set of photographs. Lena and Kyle shot our May maternity/​babymoon pictures and we couldn’t be happier with them. They turned out so amazing. Lena’s ideas for poses and props were much appreciated and all turned out so well. We also appreciated the extra editing she did with the b&w and specific items in color. They turned out really well also. Kyle was great too both at the shoot and before with the set up. Appreciate that they found time in their schedule for our last minute idea before we left Maui. The cold water bottles during the shoot were much appreciated as well. They really thought of everything! We will definitely look them up on our next Maui trip this time to do family pics with our kids.

This is an update as we have used Lena and Kyle again, this time for our wedding. All of the pictures came out so beautifully and some of our favorites are the random shots they took throughout the day of everyone hanging out. They helped us get exactly what we wanted and captured the day so beautifully! Who knows maybe we’ll be back soon for a trash the dress shoot or maternity shoot?!
05÷10÷14 — While we were walking along the beach in Maui, my now Fiancé proposed and out came Lena and Kyle! They captured the moment perfectly! After that we did some pictures posing for them and we were super awkward at first as we had never done anything like that. Lena gave us great directions and they both made it super fun so we got into it pretty fast. Would obviously recommend these guys! Thanks again Lena and Kyle!

The best pictures we ever had!
Lena and Kyle recorded our big day and made it unforgettable. Although we had a limited time as we wanted to do the pictures at the sunset we did not feel rushed. They worked very professional and definitely know what they are doing. We did not have any idea about which pics we want, so we told them to tell us what to do and we enjoyed the shooting a lot. also during the ceremony they did a lot of beautiful pictures but I did not recognize anything about it. I never expected such professional pictures. With these pictures all our friends and family at home get the perfect and real impression about the mood, harmony and emotions we felt at this time.
They work together perfectly and make you feel welcomed and comfortable from the first minute. We just enjoyed is and just recommend to book this amazing team to get your amazing pictures.

First, they were both extremely helpful in finding the best location to do the pictures that we wanted. We had 7 people in our party and wanted certain groupings, which was no problem at all. Lena, was taking the pictures and knew exactly what to do. Sunset can be very tricky to shoot and she knew the right angles to hit that gave some amazing exposures on all of the pictures. Our pictures turned out fabulous and there is nothing more we could have asked for. She has quite a talent and I would not hesitate to call them again next time we are in Maui to shoot our family. We were a family of three who had a fabulous vacation in Maui and wanted to also get some special photos of our family. We luckily stumbled across Lena Evanko Photography during my web search. Lena and her husband Kyle were excellent to deal with — professional, caring and personable with great attention to detail. I was a bit apprehensive because we don’t consider ourselves naturally photogenic but the pictures turned out amazing! There are SO many great shots that we will forever cherish and could never have captured so many without their eye for great lighting, scenery, etc. They made us feel very comfortable and were a very good value compared to other photographers who seemed more generic to be honest.
We highly recommend them for family, couple or wedding photos! Maui provides a beautiful setting but a great photographer knows what to do with it!
