I purchased gift certificate on but when i got to place they said they don’t accept it. How come they offer deals on the web site then? They offer higher amounts and it is not acceptable. Poor business and definitely dont go there.

The food here is pretty good. They make their pita bread fresh every morning. I was lucky enough to walk in when they open and saw them baking the bread. The gyro I had was good, except for the sauce that came on it. It was very sour, and I couldn’t figure out why it was so sour. The filling was great, and there was plenty of meat in the wrap. The restaurant is small with only a few tables. They work fast to get your order out, and are friendly.

Came here an hour before closing. There was a lady and a man working. Two other customers who came after me while I was waiting for my food. The customers were talking to the couple in their language. I wait about 20 minutes for my food and I called ahead to place an order. I will probably never come back. The hummus was sour for some reason… It kind of tasted like throw up after taste. The chicken was so dry and SUPER flavored… And not in a good way. It tasted so salty, I took one bite and I was finished… I had to drink a whole glass of water afterwards. I read the reviews and say why not try it out? I won’t be back. I’ll just go to the Gyro House instead.

I’ve only been here twice in the past few months, but both times, food was consistently good and the owner/cook friendly! Prices are very low as well, and portions are average size. So far, I’ve had the gyro plate, sandwich and kebab plate along with some various cookies and pastries. The plates consist of your choice of meat on a bed of lettuce, served with a side of hummus, bread and grilled veggies. It actually doesn’t look huge or anything, but once you get to eating, it does fill you up! The flavors on the meats are so yummy too, seasoned just right! When you order the sandwich, which is only $ 5.99 for most of them, it is their homemade bread, filled with veggies and the meat of your choice. They have chicken and gyro meat on the spinning spits things, and they both look really good, but I’m just not a chicken person. I might have to try it anyway next time. When we went in today, after we finished eating, he even offered us two cookies for dessert! When I asked what was in it, he explained that it had walnut, coconut and caramel. He actually described it better than that, I just can’t remember. They were little squares topped with powered sugar. The texture was not sticky, but firm and had a bit of crunch! We didn’t eat it until we had driven away, but my son and I like it so much, I already told him he needs to go get some on Monday when he passes by the place again… by bus! Haha, yes, I’d make my child who rides the bus stop just to go get some, that’s how good it was! I will definitely be back again when I’m in the area, whether I’m hungry or not!

The first thing you notice about the Aladdin Bakery and Deli is that they make all of their bread in nice angular shapes. This helps to keep everything in your sandwich when you are eating it. A lot of places in Seattle use manufactured breads for their sandwiches and the difference is huge in my opinion! I thought the bread here was awesome and had more substance than regular flat breads! The shop looks like a small bakery when you walk in. They have a nice assortment of sweets available and they seemed reasonably priced. They also sell their angular breads in a bag. I picked myself up some bread because it was too great a score to pass up! We both ordered the chicken Shawarma’s and fries. They were pretty good. The thing about Shawarma’s is that they can be made in different styles and with different spices, sauces and breads. I thought these tasted good and the bread totally complimented it! I’d recommend giving this place a try if you are ever out towards Kent!

They are so nice! The first time we went we were given samples of the pastries and meat. If we could go once a week my family would be there! My kids love it!

First and foremost they have the best baba ganoush I have found outside of Seattle. And I can assure you I am on a constant hunt for decent baba ganoush lol That said, their prices are a little high. However… the food quality is also above par. I have been there twice now and have gotten their beef gyro in my sandwich. It is tender and has a great flavor and I have no qualms of returning for more. Their pita is not the traditional flat round but a style best for sandwiches with an oblong shape and peaked ends. It also happens to be quite fluffy and soft and had been freshly made both times I was there. I have yet to try their vegetarian plate w/falafel but that may be next trip so I will report back to you guys ;)

Everything looks very clean and fresh and smells good. The owner and his assistant seem to make everything. The bread is tasty, had the Greek salad and hummus before. The salad was very basic. Tried the gyro salad, meat is good, there was no feta, maybe need to ask for it. Lamb sandwich has 4 pieces of lamb,(chops, grilled to order), grilled veggies. The meat is in chunks, so hard to eat on a sandwich. Dumped them out on a plate added the tabouleh salad and ate the bread and veggies on the side. Pistachio baklava was very good, crunchy, chewy, fresh. Nice to have a new place in Kent that has fresh and authentic food. Some items you have to wait for to be cooked, so allow some time.

This place is really clean and has really amazing Iraqi food! A lot of people will say bad things about the chicken being dry, or the bread being weird. This is just how authentic the food is. The sesame ball with date inside is one of the best options of the many sweets they have!

I had a chicken swarma in a pita sandwich… I really wanted to like this place, it was clean when I walked in and it took them fast to get my order, since I was the only customer during lunch… Chicken swarms was so dry and the yougurt sauce of some sort was bitter almost spoiled. it looked so good and smelled good but the taste was horrible… And they had only few sweets that looked like they been sitting there for a while, so I didn’t get any.

YUMS! I happened to see this place as a passerby, and decided to head in to get dinner. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma and Lamb Chops Sandwiches, both with french fries. Oh wow, so delicious! They cook your food by order, so you definitely know your food is fresh and hot. Had the Baklava for dessert and that was wonderful too! This place is truly authentic and will definitely come back.

This place is amazing! I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich and chose to go with the combo that includes the fries and a drink. These little sandwiches are delicious and they are absolutely fresh! I think I will try the lamb next time, they also have traditional pastries and treats that they make there every day, I took home about 6 of the palmiers and a few cookies, they didn’t last long. Definitely coming back!

I tried the falafel, hummus, and baklava which were all outstanding. While I have had good Middle Eastern food in Seattle, I didn’t realize that such an outstanding one would be found in Kent. Needless to say, i will continue to return to this treasure in Kent!

Wish we lived closer. Found this place by chance, and it’s great. Delicious and authentic food. We had a falafel sandwich, gyro plate, and chicken sandwich, with fries. We will be coming back to try more. The store itself is small, but clean. And the service was five star. Also, the baked goods look YUM. We will be trying the baklava before we go!

Brand new place on Kent’s East Hill, only open two weeks. Lots of eastern Mediterranean desserts and a great place to grab a quick casual meal. The chicken shawarma is especially good, as are a couple of the desserts: baklava and znod al sit. Food is very authentic(owners are natives of the region) and all is home made on the premises. We’ll be regulars.
