When it was time to move we had the small stuff in boxes, and already had the truck reserved, all we needed now was the elbow grease. After searching online for local moving companies, Sunflower caught my eye. Very very good pricing. They confirmed the moving date /​time several days in advance, as well as 24 hours in advance. The 2 movers were 15 minutes early on the day of the move. After a brief discussion for a plan of attack, the two guys went straight to work. Very careful in regards to furniture and protecting walls/​door frames/​etc. They provided furniture pads at no additional cost. The truck was loaded and secured that no furniture was even the least bit scratched. We made two trips in a 28ft truck in under 4 hours. Since our move we have recommended them to two other friends and family who were also very very pleased with the services provided.

I couldn’t believe how hard these guys worked and how much they could fit into a 26 foot truck! They were on time, professional, and really quick. They were easy to schedule and dependable. They knew how to carry each piece of furniture so I didn’t have to unpack my dressers. They did not bang anything into my walls or woodwork… like I’m sure I would have!

I hired Sun Flower to move my family from our home of 15 years to our new home. I had rented a truck from Uhaul and hired these guys, based on price, as labor to help us. The value was so good, my wife wondered if they were legitimate. I told her we would find out.
Jeff and Tim showed up early, ready to work. They repacked what I had already loaded in the Uhaul so it wouldn’t shift during transport and created a more efficient use of space.
These guys are professional, hard working, hustle, are polite, respectful, patient and pleasant. They made suggestions, brought their own moving tools and took over the entire move.
Once at the new home, they paused repeatedly, with heavy furniture, to take off their shoes at the threshold of our new home, without being asked and took steps to protect our belongings as it started to rain.
They were patient and accommodating while unloading, asking on every unmarked box, where we would like it placed. They went upstairs, downstairs, basement, kitchen, kids rooms, master, closets, garage, anywhere we needed.
The little extras they did, often without asking, were far too numerous to mention here.
I had never met them before that day. And, I have to say, not only did they provide the best moving experience I’ve ever had or heard of, Jeff and Tim provided some of the best service of any company I have ever done business with.
In fact, they scheduled their next appointment with enough buffer to stay on our job another 2 hours, which saved us. These guys know what they are doing.
If you are moving, call early. You absolutely must use these guys. By far one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. Sun Flower Moving sets the standard for service and a high bar for any company to aspire to.

At 25 years old I have moved 7 times in the last 5 years… I’m exhausted! In this time period I have had my fair share of experience with various moving companies. Sun Flower Moving Company has, by far, been the best company I’ve worked with to date, not to mention reasonably priced. I stumbled upon Sun Flower as hired muscle via
and decided to contact the business separately. Rather than traditional movers Sun Flower is just that. You provide the truck they provide the labor. I hired 2 men for 2 hours to move my 10×20 storage unit into my 7^th story apartment (without a freight elevator). The booking process was simple and who doesn’t like simple?! Their website is easily navigated, and here I was able to submit the formal request. I was contacted immediately and had my move set up for the next day. The owner, I believe his name was Jeff, contacted me again the following morning offering to be early, if needed. I didn’t need him to be early, but last minute decided I’d rather him drive my Uhaul. I changed the meet up location 15 minutes before our start time… yea, I was that girl. With zero reluctance he obliged to my request. Both men worked quickly and with ease. They finished the entire move right at my 2 hour mark and with zero damage to any furniture. They were both extremely kind and Jeff offered exemplary customer service. After taking a break from the culinary world he opened his moving company, Sun Flower, only 9 months ago. Had he not told me this fact himself I would’ve assumed the company to be much older. I would say the only downfall is the business only accepts cash or check. If booked through Uhaul the customer can use card, but the transaction is a little more expensive. Overall, I absolutely recommend Sun Flower Moving Company.
