My girlfriend and I decided to fulfill our midaternoon coffee/sweet craving, so we quickly whipped up Unilocal and check for a local coffee shop. Upon stepping in, we immediately thought that this is actually a pretty decent study spot! It is clean, the amount of seats are ample, the couch even looks comfortable. We ordered vanilla latte and a scone pastry to go along with it. A bit on the pricey end, but it was just the right amount of sugar we needed. Would definitely come again with work that I need absolute isolation for

Great coffee shop. Love their lattes. Service is friendly. Space is comfortable. Wifi is nice. Sat for a couple of hours. The only problem is usually one or two male customers who believe everyone should be interested in what they have to say, so bring earphones. It’s nice to sit outside if there aren’t smokers, too.

View: 6⁄5 Ambience: 5⁄5 Service: 4⁄5 Coffee and tea: 4⁄5 Overall, this place is underrated. It has one of the best views in KC area. It’s nicely quiet inside, great music; you can enjoy a cup of coffee and talking to friends or work/study. Free and good speed WiFi. Love this place. The whole briar cliff area is awesome.

Everyone was very welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. I can’t recall if I’ve been to a Latte Land previously so we will chalk this up to being my very first visit. I ordered the Macchiato which was served up on this wooden platter with a small glass of water with two coffee beans. Cute! The Macchiato was perfectly prepared. I’ll definitely stop here again whenever I’m in the Briarcliff area.

I love the espresso at Latteland. This season(feb) single origin bean by Kladi’s Coffee was very fruity and tart with a hint of mahogany. I absolutely loved it. It was so clean and left the most pleasant and light aftertaste. It is Served classically with soda water and artistically displayed on a natural wood serving dish with three chocolate covered espresso beans. I adore this conveniently located shop in the heart of Kansas City.

I really love LatteLand and try to schedule morning meetings here on a regular basis. Their London Fog Tea Latte is amazing and everybody who works there is friendly and helpful.

Used to go here with some frequency, not sure why I stopped, believe it had to do with logistics… out and about the other day with my lab in the car, realised I had forgotten to pay a bill and needed some wifi. After passing several other options I realised I «needed» a special drink. I didn’t need any more coffee, but hey I deserve a little cup of special. Went in and got a mint green tea mocha-was a go to back in the day — and it still is! Barista was super nice, not kill you friendly but even keeled engaging, and not I’m-so-cool-and-you’re-so-not. Interior is very warm and inviting, and their patio, which I’ve never utilised, is a great space. Food looked yummy but I was splurging on the drink… all about the balance:-)

I stopped in here yesterday to get a café mocha. The baristas were very friendly and my mocha was made perfectly. The temperature was spot on and there was just the right amount of froth. The espresso taste came through nicely and was roasted well(read: not burnt like some other places). The décor was inviting and there is an outdoor seating area that I chose to take advantage of given the nice weather. Will definitely be stopping by here whenever I’m in the area!

Stopped in on a fairly quite evening recently for coffee and a couple of cookies for the kids. It was the slowest and most awkward service. There were 2 staff members working and I didn’t get a greeting from either though they were quite chatty with the guests in front of me. They did notice that I had 2 kids with me and while I don’t expect them to rush for that reason I thought the could have acknowledged that I was there and they were running slow. The kids were well behaved but starting to run out of patience. Once we were waited on either staff member wasn’t overly friendly. Overall this is more of a business style coffee shop, not really kid friendly.

I love this location the staff is amazing and after only a week of showing up somewhat regularly they were treating me as a regular who had been coming for years. The inside of the café is pretty lackluster, but they don’t really need a lot of seating at this location as most people just use the drive through. They are very quick to get your order ready! The menu for cookies is out of date, they no longer carry oatmeal! *sad face* If you are in the area go here for your coffee! I always get an Americano but their Iced Toddy is fantastic and had a strong chocolate taste. Be sure to pick up a punch card! After 10 purchases your 11th is free!

Ok honestly I wasn’t expecting much here, but I ordered a macchiato & a bacon cheddar scone. They clarified I wanted a traditional macchiato which I confirmed & I asked for my scone to be heated. Everything was PERFECT! Scone was great with nice chunks of bacon you could actually taste & chew & some nice cheddar, but not overpowering on either. My macchiato was actually good with a perfect presentation that made me feel like I was in Europe again! Can’t beat it! I told them I would be staying & it was served on a bamboo tray with a small glass of sparkling water, a cute little cup for my macchiato with a beautiful pour & three chocolate covered expresso beans to knock it out if the park! Great job Latte Land, I was surprisingly impressed… I just came by for a caffeine fix!

This Latteland is the savior of the others! They are so friendly here and make me feel very welcome everytime I have come in or gone through the drive through. I love it when you aren’t sure what you want and the staff helps you out and doesn’t make you feel like an idiot. I will always stop by here when I am in Briarcliff for coffee. I am not sure what else makes me like it except how friendly they are. Thank you.

A dozen pastries for customers and a coffee for me. All good stuff. Actually, the pastries are quite good. The scones and muffins are particularly tasty! The inside of this location is open and has a nifty fireplace.

While Lattéland is never going to be my go-to coffee shop of choice, this location is pretty dang nice. I mean, it’s much closer to a Starbucks than an Oddly Correct, but if you go in embracing that fact, there’s a lot to like. — Plenty of seating, with good light. I do wish they had larger tables, but I won’t be scheduling meetings here anyhow, so that doesn’t personally effect me. — Bathrooms are very clean, just a benefit of being a chain location in a nice area of town. I suspect it’s been years since a bum tried to bathe themselves in there! — Good food options, as is typical with the Lattéland brand. I had a regular coffee and a toddy and everything seemed A-OK. I mean, I don’t think this is a good spot for the total coffee snob, but if you go in with reasonable expectations, you’ll like what they have to offer.

The service was quick and friendly. My latte came a bit cold, and when asked to reheat(stick the steam wand in it for a second or two) I was told it wasn’t their policy and everything is «heated to the standard set» whatever that means. Coffee was a bit weak, but I think I will try it again, next time I’m in town.

Another reason I miss living in NKC. Latte Land in Briarcliff was my go to coffee spot on the way to work in Midtown. Workers are always friendly here, coffee(they use Kaldi’s) is always freshly ground and tasty, and the ambiance is indicative of any great coffee joint. This location also offers a great view of the KC skyline making it a must visit spot to sip a cuppa on their outdoor patio. Pastries are usually good but sometimes a little«meh» if you arrive late in the day or super early before their delivery arrives. Two days of meetings in Liberty have me rejoicing at the opportunity to return to my old coffee stomping ground. I miss their local and unique flavor here and the non-corporatized atmosphere. Get up here ASAP!

I heard this place existed and checked out the drive thru on my travels in the area. The barista at the drive thru was friendly and my latte was as ordered. I like coffee options and this will be one of the places I will return to get my caffeine fix. On a ambiance note, the view of the city from the parking lot is magnificent. I do look forward to picking up a coffee early in the day and watching a sun rise over the city from the parking lot.

When I lived in Seattle, there was Seattle’s Best which was far superior to Starbuck’s if you ask me. Eventually, Starbuck’s bought them out and upset that apple cart. Part of what made Seattle’s Best the best was the people. The Seattle’s Best legacy lives on at Latteland. A good friend of mine and I would start each morning there. He with his White Chocolate Mocha and I with my Plaza Sunrise smoothie(Highly reccomended BTW). I guess we became regulars and the staff treated us that way. Often knowing our order before we got there. The staff really get to know the people and genuinely talk to the clientele beyond«Regular or whole milk?» To me this is the true mark of a great coffeehouse. Now their roast is also top notch. Not burnt like some places, but right on the money. I even got a pretty decent restratto shot from them one day. Also very hard to come by. Their baked goods are awesome(I know one of the bakers and this man is GOOD). I have yet to get a bad cookie or paastry from them either. The atmosphere is laid back for being as busy as they sometimes get and as a huge bonus, they do have a meeting room you can reserve for meetings. If you are in the Briarcliff area, this is a must go destination for coffee or just catching up with friends.

Latteland’s best attribute is that it’s not Starbuck’s. But for Latteland’s audience, that’s really not an issue. If you really can’t stand serial coffee purveyors, travel South 4 more minutes and you can try City Market Coffee or K City Coffee. My current dukedom is due only to Latteland’s proximity to my office and my more than occasional insistence that I should wait until the very last minute to try to make it to work for a meeting. I just don’t make time for that extra 4 minutes to the River Market. Otherwise, it’s coffee. It’s good.

I really love the area of this shop. Maybe I will stop by and spend longer. The coffee – it was ok and did its job, but I have had tastier coffee. The coffee sleeves are cute and I’m guessing supposed to be environmentally friendly? I like the sleeve as loyalty card, however, it does not work well as a sleeve. It was very difficult to hold the cup as it was super hot. Barista was cool, and sported the beard I so often see here. What’s up with all the facial hair KC?
