History

Established in 1972.

Dennis Gabriel started Gabriel Piano years ago in Columbia Missouri. Now in Kansas City. We have in the past gone by Metro Piano Services. Now Dennis has retired and Van Gabriel, his youngest son has taken over the care and tuning of our many customers fine pianos.

Business Owner

Van has been working on and around pianos since he was a little boy. Starting with sweeping in the shop, to helping to sand and refinish pianos. Moving on to moving for over 20 years. Van spent many years apprenticing with Dennis. Learning first the arts of piano regulations and repairs. And then tuning. Now Van is constantly thirsty to learn more and more in his craft. Reading every book he can find. Going to Piano Technician Guild meetings and seminars, and even a mail in course. Van tunes for many individuals, as well as theaters and places of worship.
