Reading Success Academy started out as Midwest Reading Clinic in 2001. Using the Phono-​Graphix method, founder Paula Smith has been helping students get back on grade level in 12 clinical hours or less. After a three year break to go back to the classroom, Paula has reopened her tutoring business as Reading Success Academy introducing her online course and Google Hangouts tutoring sessions. Whether your student prefers one-​on-​one instruction or the convenience of an online class, Reading Success Academy can meet your needs!

Business Owner

Paula Smith, Founder of Reading Success Academy, is a certified Elementary Teacher for grades 1 – 6 in the state of Missouri. She is also a certified Reading Therapist by Read America. Paula has six years of classroom teaching experience as well as over six years of clinical experience as a reading therapist. Paula has chosen to take the Phono-​Graphix reading method to a global classroom by making her tutoring sessions available to all students with internet access.
