Checker Cab

Will never use or recommend this «cab» company. I was in KC for an interview, I called and scheduled the cab the day before I needed it and was given a time it would be there to ensure that I made it to my interview on time. Once the pick up time came and went, I called the company, the rude dispatcher said the call just came up on his screen and that a cab would be there eventually, he could not tell me when it would get there or if it would get me to my interview location by the required time. When I said I would… he hung up on me. Do yourself a favor and never use this useless company.

We are in a busy tourist city! I called up this extremely rude individual to tell him my girlfriend called and her phone messed up and by the time she got it back on there was a voicemail that seemed to come from Kansas city and as we are not from here we assumed it was the cab company so I wanted to know if he could give me any information. He asked me for the address of my hotel, (I provided the name and it is a unique name, not part of chain). When I couldn’t give it to him he hung up on me! I called him back after making it to the front desk and asking them and when I told the story about the phone again he told me that he needed the address and he did not have time to talk to me! He wouldn’t even let me explain that even though he has every ability to figure out the address I got it for him. He continued to be rude about it so we opted to choose Different cab company.
It is 2014. I am not going to expect to know the address of everywhere I go when I can guarantee you have a computer in front of you. I’m paying YOU guys. Do your job, take two seconds to find the address if you don’t know your own city and quit being lazy abd rude. Other people need your job, let’s give it to them. And if you still want me to get the address, treat me like a freaking human being.
And everyone gets busy at work. My customers don’t get rude service when I am, unlike the people who work for this company.

I called at 7:30 to schedule an 11:30pm airport pickup. Then called at 11pm cause I was there early. Both times: no problem they say. 11:20. No cab. Call back. The guy YELLS at me because he doesn’t have a cab to send me. What an unreliable company with people with bad attitudes.

Ask yourself a question, will I get picked up or will I not? That’s what you need to ask when dealing with this cab company. The dispatchers are never going to be honest with you. Basically, you might as well walk. Having lived in cities where cabs actually show up when you need them, this company deserves to go under. The dispatchers never know where their cabs are, and if you persist in asking where your cab is, they just hang up on you. Any entrepreneurs out there, please start a good cab service in KC. I’m not even kidding, I’ve had to walk home half the time I’ve called this company. They’re about as unreliable as it gets. I’m not even talking about weekends. I’ve called this company on a Tuesday and they can’t even manage to get a cab over to midtown. Yeah… that’s how bad they are. Have a back-​up plan if you call them.
