I sampled All Stars Dips at the Orange County Fair here in Southern California just last week. I do think the dips are very good; however, I paid $ 5 for three of them and now see to order more they’re $ 6 each! That’s definitely more than I pay for dip mixes.

I encountered All Star Dips my first trip to the Windward Farmers Market. The man working the booth was so friendly it was hard not to stop by. He was so friendly and didn’t make us feel awkward for trying stuff. He actually truly encouraged it and we tried them all and even some great combinations. For $ 16 we got 4 bags of dips which was a pretty good deal for us since we do love dips. Instead of using sour cream we have been using greek yogurt with the mixes and it proves to keep very well in the fridge. We have used our dip mix as dip, spread on sandwiches and a little dollop with serve as a nice dressing! No preservatives, no additives, just good ingredients mixed to perfection.

Don’t you just love those little samples at Costco, that you just keep coming back for, and you don’t care if anyone thinks you’re a pig, it’s just that good. Cause, that’s exactly how I feel about All Stars Dips. Located on the 1st floor of Windward Mall, every Wednesday at the Farmer’s Market, right behind the escalators from 3:00 — 8:00, is exactly where you will find me pigging out. One hand holding a pretzel, testing every dip. I take my testing of samples very seriously! They have a variety of dips. It’s made with a package of homemade seasoning with local and fresh produce, added to sour cream and mayo. What impressed me the most was the fact that these dips can be used for other things as well, such as soups, fish, meets, pasta, and what not. So far here are a few of my favorites: Spinach Dip: Your usual spinach dip. But what I love is the fact that the spinach is quite light, it isn’t spinach overload, and the mixture isn’t too rich where it will leave you feeling full. Tomato Basil: My ultimate favorite. The flavors aren’t overpowering, they are very subtle. But in my opinion, I don’t personally like them with pretzel sticks. Better to eat them with chips Artichoke: Every kid’s favorite vegetable. I know it wasn’t mine, and it still isn’t. But just tell yourself it’s just some other vegetable, and you won’t be able to put it down. At first, it’s very subtle, can barely taste the flavors of artichoke, but towards the end, the flavors really hit you. It may be a bit overwhelming for some. They also have dessert dips, in flavors like key lime, banana, strawberry, you get the idea, have yet to try those yet. So the dips come in different varieties, in regards to packaging. $ 6 for a pre-made dip + 1 bag of pretzels(It’s what I had, and I LOVED it) $ 4 for the dry dip $ 5 for the dessert dips And lastly, hours: Windward Farmer’s Market, Wednesdays 3:00−8:00 International Marketplace, Thursday 3:00−8:00 King’s Village, Friday 3:00−8:00 Aloha Stadium Swap Meet 6:00AM — 1:00PM
