We went to the first ever Kailua Brunch Fest and had a really fun time… The selection of food was great… from delicious stuffed waffles to yummy southern comfort food! There was super entertainment(I particularly liked Brandon Lanham) and fun, free activities for kids. I liked that it’s dog-friendly and lots of people brought their pups along. It’s really nice to have a fun, casual outdoor spot for brunch on Sundays. I’ll definitely be back next month!

I have not been to a brunch festival before, but the flyer made it seem much more exciting than it actually was. There were only about 8 booths, most of which were not interesting or related to breakfast/lunch combinations. It was neat that they had balloon animals and things for children, and they had a band, but I was expecting it to be significantly larger than the smallest parking lot in the land.

Very cute and small, though there needs to be some minor changes. It was really good for this being their first event, but I was underwhelmed. There was entertainment which was good, the thing that lacked the most was the food. Considering they are marketing themselves as a «brunch festival» I thought there would be more food options. There were only about 4 – 5 vendors and Pinky’s didn’t have«brunchy» food and Cinnamon’s only had two choices, a little plate with meat and potatoes with cheese on top or one red velvet pancake. I may give this event another chance later on when they sort out the kinks.
