We are an exclusively Montana made art, gift & coffee shop. We feature nearly 50 local artisans along with locally roasted Fieldheads Coffee. We are the perfect shop to take home a little piece of Montana when you are visiting or when you are looking for that unique, one-​of-​a-​kind gift.

History

Established in 2009.

Think Local started as a seasonal shop for the holidays and has grown into a year round business owned by «3 Local Gals» who live right here in the beautiful Flathead Valley. In Nov. of 2011 we added our 3 Local Gals Coffee Bar which features locally roasted coffee and uses Kalispell Kreamery milk.

Business Owner

Cathi Spence is a 5th generation Flathead Valley resident who realized her dream of owning her own shop featuring art, gifts and an espresso bar in 2009 when she along with business partner Janelle Buchanan. When they decided to go from a seasonal shop to a full time business they added a third partner, Kay Smart.

Near the end of our week long vacation in Kalispell, we wanted some authentic and local gifts to bring home. This shop offers plenty of not too touristy gifts that were all actually made in Montana. I was actually surprised at how much I found there that I liked! There is also a coffee shop in the back but I cannot speak for that as we didn’t get any.
The staff were friendly and helpful, explaining the origin of certain items which was very helpful. Overall the prices are average for a gift shop.

We were visiting Kalispell, a darling town, and bought many unique gifts for our friends and family at this store. I love the variety of gifts as well as the fact that they are all made locally. The staff was very nice and we used our coffee coupon!
We bought little booties for a niece and hand soaps and lotions. The store is clean and the staff was very nice.

What a wonderful store. Completely filled with gifts and treasures all made in Montana! Art in the form of jewelry, photos, prints, knitted things, and more. Huckle berry chocolate, jelly and honey. Coffee roasted in Montana. and This store is well stocked and VERY clean and the staff is so polite and helpful. If you need a gift, cup of coffee, or just want to browse, this is a great place.
