Visit this restaurant everytime we come to Kalispell. Would recommend the gnocchi. Meals can be a little on the pricy side, but not too high. Staff are freindly, service was prompt, ambiance was an added bonus.

Worst food ever and I asked the waitress what was good. It was lemon and greasy noodles so greasy that I was holding down the vomit afterwards. That was the best the waitress could offer! 406 has the same management. Table was dirty and staff unfriendly. For downtown food, favorites are Bonelli’s for lunch, Thai Palace for lunch or dinner, and Desoto Grill for lunch or dinner. Desoto Grill is for meat lovers, is off the beaten path and has a unique, historic building. Hops is for dinner focused on specialty beers. Cere’s is a great bakery. Montana Wheat has a neat history of farm to market food. Norms News is an old-fashioned lunch counter, has local meats for burgers, and includes old-fashioned candy and current magazines.

Awesome cozy relaxing restaurant. It was my hubby’s birthday and he «pigged» out! We ordered the homemade meatballs, lasagna, Caesar salad, calzone, and lobster ravioli. All of it was scrumptious. Our waitress, Kelly, was superb. Bathrooms were very clean. Walls filled with hundreds of family photos which makes it unique. The owner was very nice and gave us a big hug before we left! We will definitely be back!

The service was not great although the young lady was trying, but she was also working as the bartender too. After we ordered we waited so long to get our food because apparently they were short staffed and didn’t expect to be as busy as they were. I ordered a spaghetti w/marinara for $ 12 and they offered sausage or chicken for $ 3 more so I said I would take that. The server/bartender came back and said it would be $ 5 even though the menu clearly said $ 3 but they would not honor their menu so I said then leave it off! When we FINALLY got our food it really wasn’t worth the wait. We WON’T be back. We will spend a little more and drive a little further to go for some really good Italian food in Whitefish MT @ CIAOMAMBO Italiano.

Very cute restaurant, although the manicotti was delivered in a super hot bowl the manicotti was Luke warm. Dessert was full flavor and perfect!

At first glance this place has a nice atmosphere. Not many people so we were seated rather quickly. We ordered a dinner salad, Calamari, and Mamas Lasagna. The Calamari arrived before the salad. We had to send it back as it was under cooked and very chewy. When they returned it to the table it was tasty and very good. It took about 40 minutes between appetizers and the lasagna to arrive to the table. By this time we were over this place. Other people had arrived after U.S. Already ate and left. When the lasagna final arrived the plate was hot and hard burned around around the rim of the bowl. Taking a bite the top portion was very hot but the bottom of the food was cold. Don’t think that we will be returning.

Mediocre food and lousey service. When we were leaving we were asked if everything was ok, my son responded no the service was horrible. The gentleman apparently was the owner and it turned out the server was his sister.

I do not recommend this restaurant. The salmon limon tasted bland, like an undefined fried white fish. The linguini was topped with a bland creamy«white wine» sauce, which tasted pasty and awful. The meal was warm, not hot. The order was delayed an hour due to computer problem. My two companions felt the same re their meals. Way overpriced at $ 25 for the salmon and pasta with seafood for the lack of quality. Waitress sweet but inexperienced and I’ll trained. Served beer with no glass, did not bring oil and vinegar in dispenser, but one small plate of oil for 3 of us. Did not offer bread til requested. Skip this place. It was not even close to good or authentic Italian food. Marinara sauce served over salmon. Really? Karen R, Los Angeles

My new most favorite restaurant — ever. This little Italian restaurant was hands down, the best place I’ve experienced yet. So authentic, right down to the founder greeting us upon walking in and not being able to speak barely any English. His son seated us and had a waitress on our drink and food orders right away. I ordered some halibut special that came with spaghetti in the most delicious sauce… My little boy ordered a pizza and we had to wait awhile for it because the waitress said there was a mishap in the kitchen and the pizza was accidentally dropped, so they remade it pronto. My kids were happy, my hubby was happy, and there were absolutely no complaints. Things that could make it better: — Please, please, please open a Scottibellies in Bozeman so I can eat there on a weekly basis!

Food was mediocre: the bread was not good, had a strange consistence, very dense with a hard crust, not the usual Italian bread, and they microwave it before they serve it. Their«garlic toast» was made with the same kind of bread, and they just sprinkle some cheese on it and bake it. It was dry and didn’t have any taste. My linguine pescatore had decent amount of seafood in it, but the linguine tasted exactly like the dry pasta you can buy for $ 99 a box from grocery stores, and my plate was wipes with a dirty rag around the rim then the person who brought the food put finger prints in it. My husband’s lasagna was just ok. The

A few years ago we had a rememberable meal at an Italian restaurant. That evening left a wonderful impression on us. I spent much of the day looking for that restaurant. Fortunately someone posted a picture. I knew then I found what I was searching for. It was like stepping back to a past evening. The owners treated us like family. We had another wonderful meal with a special friend at a special restaurant.

Not a great first experience. We had a reservation at 8:00 and they told us to come back at 8:20. We sat down around 820 and didn’t get drinks or bread until 8:50 since they ran out of clean dishes and bread(the bread was cold, assuming they ran to the store) our waiter was hard to flag down and was constantly forgetting things. The food was good but service was not tonight. Stay tuned we haven’t even got our food yet and it’s 9:15 Update its 9:30 and we just now got our food Now a customer was complaining about his food taking over an hour and the waitress raised her voice and proceeded to argue with him about the time stamp on his ticket. After 5 minutes she walked away, and in front of customers, makes faces and starts telling another waitress about the exchange.

Made a reservation and when we showed up they couldn’t figure out where to seat is. Made us walk back and forth in the dining room twice deciding where to seat us. During one of these trips they the hostess stopped to chat with a co-worker and completely ignored us. When we asked what was going on, they still ignored us. Once they decided on a table they realized the table was broken. The manager was rude and not interested in helping us. I would not recommend and only gave it one star because I had to give it a star.

Ummm, yum!!! The smells in the air as we approached were enough to start me drooling! Right around the corner from the Kalispell Grand Hotel, this Italian restaurant was a good find. Friday night busy, but seated quickly.(I am posting some photos). Waited on promptly. Service was frequent and attentive and very pleasant. Has a full bar. Some flat screens above the bar. A large seating area. Food took awhile, bit that was expected. And it was overlooked with bread/oil/vinegar and a cocktail. Mamas lasagna was a HUGE hit — see photo –(although the eaters commented there was too much cheese, which was easily scraped off the top) HUGE helping! $ 15 per plate. I had the butternut squash raviolis in a butter reduction with Parmesan. I enjoyed the chunks of squash mixed in with the purée. For $ 18 a plate, the helping wasn’t as visually generous — see photo – , but I can’t eat much anyway, so I was fine with that. I would order that again! I wasn’t feeling up to par tonight due to a tummy issue, so I’m not feeling the 5 star – though it might deserve it.

Whata great surprise as we were traveling home after visiting Glacier National Park and were very hungry. This traditional Italian Restaurant feels like an old school east coast Italian food. I had the traditional Lasagna which was fantastic. The anti pasta player was full if flavor !!! Loved the blue cheese and salami with olives. This is a fantastic restaurant and must stop if you are traveling through the area !!

Had dinner here for our 30th anniversary. I must say it was really one of the best meals we have had in Kalispell. We started with a Caesar Salad and the fresh and warm house bread, both were terrific. My wife had the Linguini Carbonara and I had the Penne Arrabiata again both were terrific. We added an order of cheese bread which was loaded with garlic and cheese, again fantastic tasting, fresh and loaded with flavor. For desert we shared a tiramisu and a huckleberry cannoli. The tiramisu was out of this world. The huckleberry cannoli was unusual and good but not as good as the tiramisu. The drinks, vodka Collins and Manhattan, were also really good. Our waitress, Lorain, was great! She was friendly with lots of smiles and very helpful with menu choices. We will definitely be back! Thank you ScottiBelli’s for a fantastic and memorable dining experience.
