History

Established in 2012.

Trying to help one instructor find an affordable space, turned into a business that offers small businesses, organizations and individuals a unique and affordable space for their classes, meetings and small events. Clients pay for space only when they need it, leaving the worry and cost of maintaining full-​time studio space to us.

The Station is located in the historic Interurban Building, which used to be a station for streetcars traveling to and from downtown Kalamazoo. Since its streetcar days, the Interurban Building has been home to a shorthand college, a theatre, several taverns, a county clerks office, a bank, and an engineering firm. We are happy to carry on the traditions of hosting education, entertainment and business in our studios.
