I really love this place! Everything is new and clean. I have always been able to go on a walk in basis(I don’t go on holidays ever) The deluxe pedicure includes hot rock massage and the super deluxe includes a glass of splendid wine! The entire place is a little spa like and I always leave feeling like I had a mini spa day after my mani and pedi. My only hesitation with the business ever was one of the nail techs who was loud, rude, and just nasty to the customers but the owner did make short work of that and fired her! I have been going here since it opened and have frequented all the other salons in Kailua… I definitely recommend you come here to spend your salon money, it’s well worth the experience!

I asked the owner how much it would be for my daughter to just paint her toes and fingers and to soak her feet in the warm water. She’s 5 years old and I told him she didn’t need a pedicure. He told me it would be $ 10. I got a pedicure and requested a design on my toes. He quoted me $ 10 for a santa face design on my two big toes. I decided to change to Christmas trees designs instead and was very disappointed with the simple, boring design. Then the young boy decided to speak in his foreign language about me because all the other workers were looking at me. When I went to pay, the owner tried to tell me it was $ 10 to paint my daughter’s toes and $ 7 for her fingers and $ 5 for her snowflake design. I refused to pay the additional money that he tried to charge after he had told me it was $ 10. I told him to tell his workers that if they have something to say they should speak to the customer directly in English! We are in America!!! What happened to customer satisfaction! They could learn a thing or two! I even had to put on my own slippers while my toes were still wet. They just loss my business for their unprofessional attitude and trying to rip me off. I was planning to buy a few gift certificate to give away for Christmas today but they just loss out! Don’t waste your time coming here.

Went there to do my eyebrows. So one of there female employees took me in the back room, she did my eyebrows in less than 10 minutes! Bottom line THEYSUCKED!!! they’re wax was not even hot, the wax gave me a red rash after I was done! And on top of that she did NOTHING to my eyebrows they like the same when I walked in… never going there again.

Happy nails located in enchanted lake shopping center. Clean facilities, massage chairs are wonderful and new. Staff is friendly and will try to upswell to gel polish. However they aren’t pushy. I’ve been here three times and so far have not encountered the problems as others. Three star rating because twice I’ve had French pedicures and they didn’t trim my nails. Only filed. I don’t like long toe nails.

Thank you Adam for another beautiful full set! You did a 5 star job! Respectfully speaking to those who left unsatisfied reviews… there is always two sides to every story, and in sales myself, I know it is impossible to please every customer. So for those of you looking for a place to pamper yourself, I would encourage you to give Happy Nails a chance and make up your own mind. For me, I’ve found a comfortable place I like. :)

BEWARNED!!! If I could give 0 stars I would! I wanted to try this place because I thought the discount would make it worth it. I was cut and ended up bleeding. If you’re looking for a great nail salon in Kailua this is NOT it. Please don’t confuse this place with KAILUANAIL(which is next to the Pizza Hut & Shack– and offers the best nails in town) — this place is bunk! I did a little digging and found that this nail crew is from the old J & W nail salon(all the workers were operating without licenses) So the same guys still don’t know what they’re doing! QUESTIONABLEBUSINESSPRACTICE: At every chance he got(the person Scott, I can only assume is the owner) he bad mouthed KAILUANAIL. He lies and says they are not as experienced– which is a bold faced LIE! I will NEVER come back to this place again!

I really wanted to like this place, too, but like most of the others below, it really sucks. I will not be back and neither should you! My bridesmaids & I made an appointment for 4 of us and still had to wait 30 – 45 minutes before anyone had time to do our mani/pedis. That would have been ok, but then when the guy did my nails, he cut most of the cuticles until they bled(which has never happened to me before when getting my nails done!). That also wouldn’t have been the worst thing, but they turned black on the bottom and were that way on my wedding day! The guy also kept complaining that he hadn’t had time to eat lunch that day and seemed to be rushing us all out and was honestly quite rude.

Went there today for a mommy daughter day with two of my girls. Me and my teen got gel ombré done and the little one ended up with adorable watermelon and flowers. I didn’t get the name of the guy who did the girls, but I had Scott, the owner and he was great. Love how all three of our designs turned out, the fresh clean atmosphere and fair prices. I have a feeling this new salon will have a long and successful stay in Kailua. Going back soon for a date night pedi with my hubby!

I absolutely love my ombré gel nails. They didn’t have a sponge to do the ombré but they found out a different way to make it look even better than the sponge look. The service was great and all if the employees were very nice. I’ll be coming back again(:

Tried this place for the first time because my usual tech wasn’t available and I am very happy with my service. Got the deluxe pedi and they were able to help my monkey feet feelin & looking good again! Place is clean, well-stocked and the staff was very helpful & attentive. They also were able to fix my ingrown toenails that have been bothering me for days. Will definitely be back.

Came in on a Sunday at 1pm. I wanted to like this place. The male manager and the nail techs are very friendly and the massage chairs are actually really great(cup holder and slide-out table). Even though we made an appointment, we still waited 45 minutes to get worked on. It seems like they over-book people and continue to take walk-ins. Paid $ 25 for a very rushed pedi. They were trying to get me out of the chair before my polish even had a chance to dry.

There are nail salons in Kailua on every corner, but Kailua Happy Nails is a new establishment, branched off of my A & A Nails on Waialae. Ave. in Kaimuki. They bought out J & W Nails, the salon that had the gambling machines in Enchanted Lake shopping center. This is a full service salon with professional, nurturing service. The salon is clean and sanitary, workers spoke proficient English and met my daughters needs for her prom nails. The nail tech gave her what she wanted instead of arguing with her about what would be nicer, in his opinion. I had been waiting for them to come Kailua since we need good quality salons, not quick, cheap nails that fall off after one week, like some of the other Kailua salons. My Deluxe pedi was exquisite on the massage chair. Go spend your money there! You deserve to be pampered and they are good people. I’d rather have good nails and happy feet that lasts at least 3 weeks, then coffee during a short salon visit. I’m not willing to sacrifice good customer service for poor quality of work. Support Kailua Happy Nails in Enchanted Lake next to Subway. New owner, new ways… Aloha

Have been here twice & it’s great! Friendly people, reasonably priced, clean, cool & spacious! This is owned by the same people from A&A Nails in Kaimuki. This is not the same owners as the other nail shop next to Round Table!

I’m kinda loving this spot. Only two things to get off my chest and then on to the positives. The music was all 80’s love songs, so there’s that. And there seemed to be some sort of war between employees. A lot of whispering and staring each other down. Whatevs, I can deal with these things. The good stuff! This place is immaculate, like I would eat off of their floor. Seriously, I have never been to a nicer looking nail spot. Everything is new and gorgeous. The staff is really friendly and sweet. They did a great job on the pedis. I told my gal I don’t like the razor and she did an excellent job removing my calluses(they’re gnarly) without the razor. All of their product is new and top of the line. No cheap crap here! This place will be my new home for my hooves. AND20% off deal right now! Don’t walk, run to this spot.
