Global Village in Kailua is a women owned, Native Hawaiian family business. The mother & 2 daughters team strive to keep a product mix filled with variety. The mix is ever-​changing with at least 35% of the product from small businesses, made in the USA products, eco-​minded businesses, and businesses that contribute a portion of their profits to chartiable and fair trade organizations.

The Global Village family consists of Global Village team members, customers and community members. As a neighborhood boutique, Global Village takes pride in the fun, friendly environment that it provides. Participating with community organizations & events, such as, Ho’okua’aina, ‘I Love Kailua Town Party’, & ‘Plastic Free Kailua’.

Super cute apparel, friendly staff, and an overall great place to shop!
I always go to see the girls from Global Village when I attend the Douglas Trade Shows. They never fail to stock their racks with cute dresses, tops, rompers, and my go to bralettes. The girls are always willing to help out, chit chat a bit, and overall offer great customer service. Their store in Kailua is so cute! They obviously have a much bigger selection in clothing there and carry other accessories and jewelry. Definitely worth a drop in shopping session even if I have to travel from Pearl City.

Great & cute store! Enjoyed looking around. I even bought several items, most around $ 10 a piece. Some of those collapsable cloth bags for shopping or gift items, some books of the funniest wrong test answers, & some padded bandeau bras. The staff are also very friendly & helpful. They also had some cute baby clothes & items in the back. I’d love to come back & look around some more!

It’s a boutique with all sorts of knick knacks but they are GREAT knick knacks. I walked out of there with a water bottle for my dog, a sample sale boiled wool jacket and sample sale cardigan for $ 80 PLUS a free tote. It seems crazy to buy a wool jacket in Hawaii but it fit perfectly. I’m short at 5’2″ but the cut of the jacket was perfect. It’s like it was tailored to my body and I DIDN’T have to hem it when I got home.
The gals working in the store were very helpful and sweet.
They’ve got other clothes there which I didn’t have a chance to browse. This is a hidden gem and worth checking out.

As a local in Kailua, this is one of my favorite shops to visit. I am not much of a shopper but I like to go into this shop. I can always find something in there I want to purchase for my wife or daughter for a birthday or for Christmas. It has a local feel and it is owned by the nicest family who lives in Kailua. The help you ask? Fantastic… They are always friendly and do not disturb you while you are shopping. If you are going to be in Kailua, this is THE shop to visit to find just that right thing for you or for that special somebody.

Such an adorable store! All the cute things I love about beach, Hawaiian vibes! This is a great place to go for gifts for friends near and far away (or the more likely scenario… buying goodies for yourself). Some adorable clothes but the price tag will hit you pretty hard for most items!

I love this store! The staff was extremely friendly also which is always important to me.
The best thing about this store is that almost everything in there that you can purchase helps out someone else. for example I bought a pair of sunglasses for $ 36 and in turn they plant a tree. I’m all about helping and giving back so of course I wanted to buy everything. I also got my mom some earrings that were made by a local artist.

Impeccable customer service. Guys, if you need to shop for the ladies in your life, save yourself the trouble and put it in the hands of Global Village’s lovely sales associates. In December I got my shopping done for my mom, sister, and girlfriend done in about half an hour. I had NO idea what to get them, but one of the employees was super helpful in using their ages and interests to narrow it down to a few items. I went a little over budget, but worth it to receive service like that.

Looking for something cute? Global Village is the place to go! The lady’s were prompted with welcoming people coming through the door and getting information out on their sale! The vibe was sweet and relaxing with great music that wasn’t to loud to loud to takeover the store. Their products are nice, casual and perfect for a day at the beach or to a casual party. So stop on in and check them out! Going Green Is In!

My friend and I was blown away with how amazing their service was. I walk/​drove past this store for a good amount of years bc I was never really one who was into boutique shopping but I was very happy that we peeked in yesterday. Store is pretty big and I like that its not cluttered. The girls are very informative on the things and promos that they were offering. The prices are reasonable and the clothing look like it was made with great quality. I ended up with a shirt and earrings for under $ 30. I would like to consider doing most of my Holiday Shopping here during Christmas.

I totally digg this boutique. Super cute and stylish clothes and accessories for men, women and the keiki. They have some cool products locally made in Hawaii such as hats and bags and I think I saw some other cool stuff made by Mayans which caught my eye because my daughter has some Mayan in her. I like that I could see myself wearing clothes from here that I wouldn’t expect to see someone else wearing. They carry some funky and funny knick knacks such as the dammit dolls which I recently bought for my baby daddy for the upcoming father’s day. He claims to hate this or that so the dammit doll is perfect for his venting sessions and sense of humor. This store has a cool friendly vibe and the staff is very helpful. The prices are just right for the products they offer and it’s one of my fav places to shop at in Kailua.

STOP! SHORTEST REVIEW EVER!!! NOT JOKING!
Love love love this store! If I was not with my parents, I could spend hours in here just checking out the cool and unique stuff they sell here. I don’t think you’ll find many of what they sell here anywhere else. Most of their items they sell here are from mall businesses, local businesses, Made in Hawaii/​USA, not your typical everyday store here. Everything is so cute and pretty I wanna buy the whole store! It’s a cutesy boutique located in downtown Kailua and I never knew this store existed until we drove out here to walk around and go to WFM because my mom knows how much I love that place! I never been to the Kailua location so it was a real treat!
This review will actually be SHORT! I honestly think pictures speak a thousand words! I took quite a few photos so you can get a feel of what type of store this is! I love it! And this store is eco-​friendly which is a plus for me because I love to go green!
Okay that is it!
If you haven’t be here yet, you MUST come down to Kailua! Park at WFM, bring your walking shoes and sunblock and spend the day here! Lots of shops and eats and a smoothie place too! I will review that next.

This store is cute and the gals are friendly with smiles and obviously LOVE what they do. It shows and their demeanor is refreshing in a time and place in Kailua’s history where a lot of us old timer Kailuans feel edged out by tourists who come in by the busloads. Literally. The merchandise is trendy and priced appropriately. The return policy is upfront on the receipt and clear as day. No kama’aina discount is extended, so don’t ask, just buy it if you like it! Small business doesn’t make huge returns and they have bills too. I like the fact they support projects in third world countries that help women. Causes like this make me want to shop here even more. I will buy gifts from here instead of other places whenever possible and bring my cousin from Palo Alto in when she is here next month,
The ladies treat everyone nicely and because of this I feel we local Kailuans and ladies/​men in general should patronize this great store and keep the sales IN KAILUA!!!

what: a «mom n pop» boutique offering unique apparel, accessories and gifts from the islands and around the globe.
something good: love this boutique! before a Unilocal event that i attended i hadn’t heard of this place… i am so glad that this gem has come into my life! this was my favorite stop of the night and i probably could have found a million things i wanted! thankfully, we were there for only half an hour but in that small time alone i did a decent amount of damage :) !! i love the fact that the boutique not only features amazing clothing but that they also have cute little items and knick knacks! the salesgirls here are ah-​may-​zing! they are so helpful and were able to give good advice on items and explain items in detail without shoppers even having to ask! great work to all the staff! i was super impressed ;) !!

something to try: oh! if you check-​in with the Unilocal app, you may be able to get a special gift! the night that i went, all the shoppers got a free wallet! and it was super cute! :) love this place!

I love love LOVE Global Village! I always stop in here at least once when I’m visiting the islands because the clothes they carry are so hip but unique. Usually when you shop on the Oahu or in the surf shops you pretty much see the same tops, dresses and accessories from store to store. But I have never seen GV clothing duplicated anywhere!
And major shout out to Selena — who was quick to take all of our finds to the dressing room so we didn’t have to carry them all, for giving us great recommendations on what we should try on but also being honest when something did not look good, and for her positive energy and helpfulness — she was amazing!
And to top it off, the pricing is unbeatable! $ 20 for a jean skirt? $ 20 for sterling silver earrings with gemstones on it? $ 30 for a high quality unique top? Doesn’t get better than this on Oahu!

I really like this cute boutique! The staff is very friendly and helpful without being pushy. It is moderately priced with cute and comfy looking clothes. I have to admit that I have never actually bought anything from here yet, but I hope to in the future!
This boutique also has cute jewelry. For example, they have delicate handmade sterling silver bracelet that has little shells, glass pieces, etc. It is always fun to find unique jewelry like that. They also have gummy bear shaped rings which are cute.
This place is definitely worth checking out if you enjoy boutique shopping.

One of my favorite boutique stores on this island in one of my favorite cities on O’ahu, Kailua! I found myself out in Kailua this weekend and met up with a friend to eat lunch at Maui tacos. Since it is now rare for me to head out to Kailua, I just had to step into this great store. Luckily my friend is a very patient guy and doesn’t mind walking around a store with me while I’ll try to hunt for good stuff as quickly as possible.
As I was «window shopping» I forgot how much I love this store. They have a mixture of women’s clothing, jewelry, must have items (like nifty fashion tape and the like), children’s wear, dishes, aprons, a few men’s shirts and watches! (that I love by the way)
There were so many new items that I was happy to see, as well as their own line of clothing, which is great! The girls that work there are super friendly and helpful too. I did find a top that I loved which came out to only $ 9.60! It was part of their after thanksgiving weekend sale of 20% off all regular priced items! I eagerly searched for another top (same style different color) but decided that it wasn’t meant to be since they didn’t have my size in any other color. That’s okay though! I’ve made mental notes to come back and buy a few more items when I can head out there again.

Awesome store to visit when in Kailua. Cool combination of hippie chick/​resort/​Hawaii that is so very Kailua town. For a boutique, it does a great job of catering to a variety of tastes and ages.
My husband is a big «Life is Good» fan and this is one of the few places I’ve seen that line on Oahu. They have a pretty big selection too! The jewelry selection is awesome and eclectic, and there are a ton of camis/​bandeaus and other cool girlie accessories as well as clothes that can take you anywhere from the beach to date night.
Staff is friendly and I love that they ask if you need a bag — the last couple times I’ve been there I went eco-​style and just carried out my purchase to the car. So malama ka aina!
