By far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a GNC. The first time that I went to this location, the sales associate sold me a product that interacted very badly with the supplements I was already taking, even after I gave him a list of my current stack components. The next time I went there it took ten minutes to even be acknowledged by an employee and they’re was only one other customer in the whole store.
He only looked at me as I walked towards the exit! I could have easily walked out of the store with pockets full. Terrible customer service and no loss prevention whatsoever. Scary bad. They’re won’t be a third visit. So glad there are many other locations!

I’m so Happy Kailua has a GNC filled with great employees. These guys are very helpful and definitely know their products. Not only have they helped me but I’ve also witnessed them helping other customers with personal inquiries in goals. GNC always has great deals and I’ve learned when not in stock they help me order the product which is shipped to my house direct with in a few days.

This store is not as big as some of the other GNC stores in Honolulu, but the selection of items is better than anyone else in Kailua for bodybuilding and weight loss products. The staff is always very friendly and helpful in finding products that are both cost effective and supportive of your fitness plan. The VIP, Gold card program is worth the investment, epecially if you purchase mulitiple items. I love the Mega packs, as they contain several product that are grouped for specific fitness requirements. Another benefit for this location is the fact that they provide free samples for other items that compliment your fitness program. They provide three samples that were products that I would otherwise have ignored.

GNC Kailua helps fill the «healthy living» niche on the Windward side, offering things that aren’t carried by nearby competitors. The store seems to carry the largest selection of supplements to support weightlifting, endurance exercise, and weight loss, although it has a fair number of other items.
One nice thing about GNC is their membership program (not free, but nominal cost) that allows you to take discounts and get free home shipping of any item not in stock. The Kailua Town GNC is very small, so overall selection is limited. Also, they have the unbusinesslike habit of closing during posted business hours, so you can’t count on them to be open. If you’re coming out of your way to shop here, be sure to call first.
