Great cleaner. They are always very nice and polite. We have been using them and the previous owner for the past 5 years. Once a shirt came back damaged and they credited us the amount covering a new shirt. It was very appreciated. Other than that, always perfect. Even though we moved away from Grove Pointe, we continue using them. That’s how much we like this cleaner !

Really convenient if you live by the grove path. They are not the cheapest and thats good because you def get what you pay for with dry cleaning and I spend a ton on clothes. They are really efficient and you have your account. You just leave your stuff with your doorman if you have one and call. They pick it up and drop it off. Super duper easy and i’ve seen them get all sorts of stain out. I’m beyond clumsy. Sauses, coffee, oil etc. They are great. They also do alterations and really fast. I always seem to have some sort of Suit emergency. The lady who works the phones I think is the owner is super sweat. I see some other comments on here but I def do not agree. I like these people. They are amazing although I probably spend about $ 50 a week on dry cleaning but none the-less they get a stellar review.

They do a great job with my shirts, and when I busted a seam in my jeans, they did and fantastic job repairing them.

After using this cleaner on multiple occasions, I have finally had enough. Be prepared to pay whatever the cashier(I believe the owner) wants to charge you. There are no prices listed anywhere in the store. There is no website either. I have paid $ 1.95/shirt to have it washed and pressed and I have also paid $ 2.95/shirt for the same service. When I inquired for an explanation, he gave a long, rambling, unclear answer. On a different occasion, I brought in a pair of pants with a stain on it. Over the span of 5 seconds, he quoted me a price of $ 5, $ 7, and finally $ 10. Mind you during this time, the stain did not change in size or appearance. The only perk this place has going for it is the convenient location. Unfortunately, they no longer offer discounts to Grove Pointe residents.

Had been using them because it is less than a block away from my apt. It was a little pricey but I trusted them to do a good job for the price. I dropped off a Max Mara trench coat for them to clean. When I came to pick it up, they said it wasn’t ready — which was weird bc rest of the clothes that I dropped off at the same time with my coat were. I came back after couple days for it. Then they told me belt buckle is broken, the guys who they outsource the dry cleaning to broke it, also that my belt buckle was flimsy to begin with(WTF, so you’re blaming me now?), and maybe they will replace with a buckle they can find — I was very pissed because 1) they lied to me that the coat wasn’t ready, 2) they blamed my belt being flimsy which doesn’t make sense(I’ve used other dry cleaners for the coat and I’ve never had problems with the buckle) and 3) now they are telling they’ll just replace it with whatever they have and which may or may not be what I want on the coat. The belt was unique one that had subtle MM inscribed on it with rolling attachment. I wanted replace the buckle the way I wanted to, so I took a trip up to Max Mara store in Upper East side to get the same belt buckle(took me almost an hour and a half, paid for subway fare and everything). Max Mara didn’t have the same buckle available but they had something that would go well with the coat and they charged $ 40 for it. I came back to the cleaners and asked for $ 40 which I thought was a reasonable. The Korean woman at the counter resentfully handed me the money, muttering derogatory comments about me being a picky Chinese in Korean under her breathe(I’m actually Korean and I could understand everything she was saying). Long story short: 1) they are charging higher price for outsourced cleaning(probably bc they are in an expensive building and have to pay higher rent) which they don’t have control over and will likely not pay attention to the detailed requests you have, 2) they did something wrong(which can happen) BUT handled it poorly giving attitudes to me as a customer, not trying to fix the problem properly, and saying derogatory things to me(what the hell did I do wrong?), and 3) after wasting so much time, resources, and effort to haggle out a solution, actually going to the Max Mara store myself and sorting out stuff, haggling them to give me money, I’m left with an inferior piece of belt(not the same thing I had before and I liked that previous one better) and they didn’t even bother to give me any complimentary service NOR did they APOLOGIZE to me at all through the entire process(they kept blaming me and the outsourced guys). Seriously, the worst dry cleaning experience ever and I have never gone back since.

Took a pair of unpleated pants and told them not to iron or crease, they did both and ruined the pants by creating a crease and also ironing over the stitching so much that it showed through the pants and they looked like a tuxedo pants afterwards. I wore it once and the Theory pants were obviously ruined because that morning someone noticed my pants and side, «where do you get your clothes dry cleaned, they did a really bad job».

Great dry cleaners. I’ve tried alot of dry cleaners in the area but this one is by far the best one. 3 days to pick up your stuff or sooner if you’re in a hurry and all my clothes were in fantastic condition when I picket them up. I pointed out some of the stains on a pair of pants and I was expecting them to get a little bit out but when I picked them up I was like what stain? I heard the owners changed and they reduced prices on some of the things and that now they have thier own plant so that’s a another big plus.

Fantastic work — you pay for what you get(a tad pricey)… this is not a cheap dry cleaner. Always very particular about who I entrust with my clothing… I don’t have super nice stuff — but I want what I do have to last and be well cared for. Did a lot of Unilocal reading to finally decide and give Grove Pointe Cleaners a try. I don’t live in Grove Pointe — but I do live near the Grove path station — so Grove Pointe Cleaners aren’t too far from me(5 minute walk). I was incredibly impressed. First off — very friendly staff — I met the owner when I dropped off my clothes(3 shirts — 3 pairs of pants) and then I think his wife when I picked up the pants — both greeted me very brightly and were incredibly professional. Secondly — they took note of what I wanted done for each item of clothing — some of the pants needed a crease — others didn’t — etc. Finally — when I got my clothing back(3 day turn around) — I was amazed at how good everything looked. My pants look brand new! I’ve been to a lot of dry cleaners — but never a place that made me feel like I had just purchased new pants. If you’re in the Grove street area — don’t hesitate.

I’ve been using this place for the last few months and they’ve always done a great job. No buttons or shirts lost yet! Edit: They did lose one of my wife’s Jcrew blouses but gave us laundry service credit towards the full value of the blouse.

A little pricey but they get the job done. I haven’t had a bad experience with them yet. They also do a good job with hemming. The owner lady is very sweet and if you point out any issues beforehand, she’ll be honest about what she can and can’t do. I’m not even offended that she calls me my boyfriend’s name.

I live in Grove Pointe so this place is very convenient because you can have your dry cleaning dropped off at the front desk. For those of us who work long hours in the city, this is a very useful feature. I’ve had shirts laundered and suits dry cleaned here and I haven’t had any problems. Also, they are cheap and quick on hemming pants. The best part is that everything is on the computer so there are never any mix-ups. The owner is very friendly and always has candy at the counter, which is definitely a plus for me.

It’s extremely convenient if you live at Grove Pointe because laundries could be delivered to the front desk once it’s ready. Residents also get a 20% discount. Not sure if this place is considered expensive, but according to today’s dry cleaning receipt, sweater costs $ 6.50 and jacket $ 13 before discount. Clothes are ready approximately 3 days if you don’t need it in a rush, as it was always my case. The young lady at the shop(not the korean owner) was always very friendly.
