Specialties

The Performing Arts Workshop is essentially the product of a lifetime spent in the studio, on the stage and behind the scenes. Founder/Director, Jaime Gong, strives to create an environment for her students that fosters high self-esteem and a healthy sense of creative expression, while promoting the values of discipline and determination that are essential to success in any endeavor.

We reach out to the Hudson County and other communities through dance and acting programs for students of all ages. Check out our website for complete offerings including our program in schools throughout Northern New Jersey.

History

Established in 2012.

The Performing Arts Workshop began with a belief that a quality arts education should be accessible and meaningful. Our mission is to engage students of all ages in arts experiences designed to build self-esteem, develop creative expression and promote healthy living.

Our journey began in January of 2012 with a few drop-in dance classes for adults, a «staff» of one, and a really big dream. Just beyond our 3rd anniversary, we are proud to share that we now have dozens of classes filling our schedule in six cities, and an ever-growing staff comprised of gifted professionals in the industry.

Our programming reaches students in myriad ways, including our recreational and pre-professional programs in Downtown Jersey City, and in-school enrichment programs we provide to private schools throughout Northern NJ. It is our privilege to share our love of dance and theatre, and hope you will grow with us as we establish PAW as a premier arts education destination, no matter what our location!
