I will never come back to this place or tell anyone I know to come here either. The heavy set woman that works behind the counter is so rude its unbelievable. They treat you like you’re a beggar and not a customer looking for good service. I came here to get an eye exam with contacts & glasses. The contacts were not a right fit, it was blurry, the contacts kept moving around in my eye and irritating my eyes. I tried calling about getting another eye exam and I kept getting the run around. I was told that the doctor was on vacation every single time I called to make an appointment to come in. My glasses were blurry as well and when they broke I came into the location and asked if they could be fixed or replaced. They told me it doesn’t matter if I pay a repair fee there’s nothing they could do for me and I would just have to purchase another set of glasses. Fortunately for me I found a much better doctor at Cohens right on the corner of Austin Street in Forest Hills.

The front desk staff greeted me after me seating down for 10 mins. I was ignored when I spoke coming into the establishment. The eye doctor was not friendly and was not very person centered. They basically over charged me for glare protection I did not need for an extra 100 bucks. Would not recommend a blind dog to this rip off of a place

Service was very quick and came with quality! The doctor is very thorough during the exam and friendly. The young lady that helped out in the front was extremely helpful!!! she was willing to work with me with price (my insurance wasn’t very helpful) for my glasses and contacts. I was extremely satisfied with the service I received.

Super duper bad experience okay it was time for some new glasses through our insurance (CSEA) and I wanted to try some place new, So the hubby and I opted to try this place. Had my my exam and then was told I will have to wait til my husband was finish with his exam before she can tell me cost of my glasses. I’m like um with my insurance I never had to pay which puzzled me. So then my husband comes out from exam and told me how he only allowed one pair of glasses, But from 2008 since he had this job and insurance he always received 2 pairs of glasses only having to pay for the transitions part. With this location its different. I wasn’t feeling it and wanted to go so I kindly told the lady I just want to pay for our exams, she then start to offer us a discount, I told her NO Thank you. I ask how much for the exam she says $ 75 So me being silly thinking that was for both exams come find out she charged us $ 75 a piece!
I felt robbed and cheated!!! So beware!
