I went in to get glasses for my Aunt and left very happy! The girls were very friendly and made us feel comfortable. They weren’t pushy and they were willing to work with our budget. They seem very knowledgeable about the prescription and recommendation that the doctor gave her. There are a lot of different frames to pick from. I will be going back to get my glasses there too.

I went here to order contact lenses last Friday(September 4th) evening. I waited 30 minutes to be ignored. I know it was busy but I did not even recieve a greeting so I left. I decided to return the following day(because they usually give me a great deal for my contacts) and this extremely nice woman with long hair helped me. I would only return for her assistace.

DONOTGOHERE. I repeat, DONOTGOHERE! You cannot make an appointment, it’s walk-in only. I went to Wizard of Eyes because it was conveniently close to my house. OK, so… You will wait at least 45 mins to an hour all because they have to call the doctor to come in to check your eyes. Then another 45 mins for the paper work to be processed. PREPARETOGETRIPPEDOFF&PREPAREYOURSELFFOR A SALESPITCH(from the Asian lady or man, honestly I don’t even know what sex he or she is. Sorry!) They have horrible frames to choose from.(Like the huge frames your grandparents would wear, or Peabody) even the designer shades they carry are outdated. If you want better frames, they ask you to pay an additional $ 200(for the more modern, smaller, rectangular frames) which is ridiculous because I’ve had the same insurance for the last 3 years and all of the places I’ve went to previously, checked my eyes and gave me great frames to choose from and also gave me a prescription for contacts. If you want a prescription for contacts here they charge you $$$ to get your eyes checked AGAIN and also more $$$ for contacts. They said my insurance does not cover it but that’s a lie! Places I’ve went to before, in the past few years, gave me a prescription for my contacts and amazing frames without an additional eye examination. They also do not call you to let you know your glasses are ready. The doctor, a young black man, who is very nice, but clearly needs to go back to med school because the glasses he prescribed for me are too strong for my eyes and give me excruciating headaches! Smh! The other employees here are all rude. Don’t waste your time like I did. I will never go back here again and neither should you!
