As a pastry lover, Im very demanding when it comes to cakes. I decided to give them a shot since the dominican bakery I first choose can’t work with fondant. Asked for my son’s favorite cartoons, Masha and the Bear, even tho they’re not popular, I showed them pictures, they google it. Any professional baker can make the cake I ordered! I asked for fondant, right? So why did she cover the whole cake with icing/frosting? The only fondant she worked with was the bear and the poor Masha with no arms which apparently was made by her 10 years old granddaughter! 4 colors: Mint green, grass green, brown(The bear) orange(Masha’ dress) why did she add red and blue? I paid $ 140 for an american cake that my guests made fun of the entire night. My intention was never been a tough client, sadly, They lost lots of clients.

I will never buy another cake from here again if i have an important event. I ordered a cake from here for my sister’s baby shower. It was a Tiffany themed party and I showed the baker a few photos of what the cake should look like. She suggested fondant for the cake but when I told her I’d prefer not to have it she assured me it cold be done. I gave her the $ 80 deposit and on the date of the event i was excited to pick up the cake with my sister and mother. I had gotten a few cakes from here before for my own birthday party and a few of my son’s birthday parties but this was years before when the mother was running the show. The cakes were always amazing and tasted great so I was sure this cake would be too. We get there and. and the cake was unrecognizable. First off, it was sea foam green not Tiffany blue. Every decoration for this event is Tiffany blue, silver and white. This GREEN cake is going to look very odd! So when my sister pointed that out and questioned her about it, the lady at the register who was the baker became furious and mentioned how she put extra decorations on the cake and she’d be happy to the them off as the gestured by reaching almost into the cake to remove some weird frosting baby she added to the cake. She was defensive because she KNEW this cake was all wrong. Her mother comes out to defend her daughter’s work. I get it. But that doesn’t change the fact that this Tiffany blue cake is green. And now they’re screaming at us instead of simply apologizing for the mistake. It was amazing. We weren’t arguing with them. Just stating the facts that the cake was wrong. Nobody’s perfect but you don’t react like that to your customers. Especially when it was your fault. $ 180 for a cake the wrong color and a the most negative customer service experience I’ve ever had in my life. Although the cake itself tasted alright Quisqueya has left a bad taste in my mouth. It’s a shame that it’s gone downhill. I don’t intend of giving them any more of my business. What a huge disappointment.

Do Not take your business there… I ordered 2 cakes one Gold and one Chocolate and you could NOT imagine the surprise on my face when the cake was cut into and it was both a Gold Cake. That’s not the worst part about it-I was told my order would be ready for pick up at 5:30 so that I would give them time I came at 6 and the cake wasn’t even in the oven yet. I waited 30 minute than when I got upset I was told that it would take another 10 to decorate the cake. I was then asked to reschedule to pick up the cake the next day. I have an event planning business and would never again give them my business. My client asked for a chocolate cake and to cut into a Gold cake was not a nice surprise. So not only were was cake wrong, they were late, but then was rude to me when I was upset that this WRONGCAKE wasn’t ready. Not the way to do business. Never again. I love supporting small business but I would rather pay more for less aggravation

Small great Dominican bakery located on Centre St across from the CVS. Makes amazing cakes where the the actual cake part tastes as good as the frosting. The prices are pretty reasonable too. Much cheaper than Party Favors.
