The waitress was very inattentive and treated us unkindly! Service was relatively slow and the restaurant seemed very dirty! Probably will not be back! :(

The only reason I am giving one star is because it wouldn’t let me give no stars. I called this IHOP an hour ago asking if they had wifi and the manager said«absolutely.» We showed up and sat down and the waitress said they didn’t have wifi. I told her that we called and were told they had wifi. She went to ask the manager(who was the one on the phone) who proceeded to say that it only works sometimes. Thanks for wasting my time! I will not be back to this particular IHOP unless there is a change in management and they stop false advertising.

The service was terrible. I went with friends and they completely forgot about my order and i didnt receive it until and hour later. To top it off, they gave me the wrong sides when it was straight off the menu. They also forgot to give us our milkshakes and we didnt get them until we finished our food 30 mins after, right when we were leaving.

Thoroughly disappointed and disgusted. This place deserves no stars and needs to be completely closed. Although my server was polite and great, the atmosphere was disgusting. The store manager allowed kids play in the bathroom, allowed kids run around between booths, allowed a teenager sleep on the floor near their families table. It was a freaking zoo! I’m going to keep my other comments to myself because they are quite hateful, but I could not believe how this IHOP was operated. The food was okay. I would NEVER come back here, never recommend this location… ever! I’m seriously thinking of calling BBB, and have them investigate. Just yuck!

Every time we come in as a family we are impressed the staff is great and the food is fresh not to many ihops to say that about but come in and try it out.

It felt like I was in the twilight zone waiting for the server to ask what I wanted to drink. Like it literally took 15 minutes, I was appalled. This location was dirty and the food portion was smaller than others.(Moldy smelling carpet).

Oh LORD please shut this place down! This place is more sick than their neighbors Spring Creek and Applebees. Disgusting, gross, horrific, and DEADLY! LISTENTOMEPEOPLE! DONOTEATHERE! I you have any respect for your friends, family, and yourself! Please I beg of you do not eat here! Service is terrible, food is terrible, and DIRTY. If you don’t believe me then go right ahead and eat there. I bet you $ 1,000,000 you’ll come screaming back to me about how right I am. Shhh you don’t have to thank me.

Seating was quick, service was slow. Waitress never refilled our drinks. Had to have manager bring out to go boxes and our check. Nah, won’t be back.

Makenzy Barrs is the worst waitress there is at Ihop. Horrible customer service! I always have to wait for at least an hour for my food. Management is so bad here and the manager was rude. Never coming back to this shitty place, I rather go to the one 10 minutes away from this one. Don’t come here!

This location is horrible. If there was a lower ranking than 1 star I would give it that. It smells horrible, the air conditioning is none existent. Management is horrible. They are almost none existent as well. Clearly there is a rodent problem as well, while dining you can expect to see mice run across the floor randomly. Who knew while going to get breakfast, you could expect to see live animals! Wow! Several people have complained about this location, I think that the only reason it is still open is because of convenience but if you knew how filthy it was, you’d probably be best choosing to dine somewhere closer and safer. It’s sad when a known brand suffers bad reviews, because of one horrible location, but IHOP is franchise, so who knows. Take it from a very disgusted diner, do not waste time, money, nor risk your HEALTH to eat some where that mice run across the floor while you are dining and sweating bricks. HORRIBLE.

Placed a basic egg, hash brown, and bacon order. Waited 30 minutes and asked about my order. They had lost it. I reordered and it took an additional 20 minutes to get my food. Food was ok. While I was waiting, 2 other people had asked for the manager about issues with their food.

If I could give this place no stars I would. Someone needs to be made aware of this place and the service it does not offer. Me and some friends came here last night about 8:30 or so to have dinner. We walked in and it looked emptier than other ihops I’ve seen. We waited 8 – 10 min with no one coming to greet or even seat us. We could see into the kitchen that tons of food was piled up on the counter waiting to be served.(WHEREISEVERYONE) Then this is the part that really pissed me off. One of the customers went up to pay and out of no where pops a waitress/staff. The waitress/staff took the customers payment and left back into the kitchen!!! STILL, No one came to seat us even after seeing us there and we left. Horrible. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Terrible Service! I had to wait like 5 minutes in the afternoon and then they tried to sit me at a dirty table! So then instead of staying I left and took my money elsewhere!

IHOP is always a good breakfast choice when traveling with kiddos. This one was slow in service, but friendly staff and the pancakes were good :)

Overall good place to eat. I love the pancakes here. I used to go in late hours so don’t know much about the daytime service but I always got good service. The night time waitress is very attentive. Tilapia is good too. I like biscuits and gravy too.

What can I say about IHOP. The pancakes are good. The service is mediocre, and the food is okay. I rarely go to Ihop, I got their Wheat pancakes. I thought they were pretty awesome. I think IHop is just one of those places where a 3 star rating is PERFECT.

Not much to choose from in Irving. At least this place is open late and doesn’t reek of cigs and cleaning fluid. Bright. The usual fare for a pancake house. Plain old coffee not great. Tarted up coffee is even worse. Best choice: turkey dinner. Or strawberry pancakes. Lots of snotty toddlers and JD’s. But still beats Applebee’s if you are sensitive to environmental carcinogens. :)

I came here with friends on a Tuesday night when no one was here(okay maybe one other party). The server sat us down to take our drink orders and did not come back after giving us waters for a very long time. It was probably 20 minutes in before they took our order, and the wait for the food was excruciatingly long. The food was good, but they added extras to my omelette(instead of just my hash browns) and charged me for it. When we got up to split the bill, it took them a good 10 minutes for us to get our cards back. I understand that it’s midnight and it might be slow for you, but I never go in an IHOP and expect to spend 1.5 hours waiting for my food or waiting for my credit card to come back. Tl;Dr. Food is good but the abnormally long wait ruins the experience. Will not return.

I have been coming to this place for years now, but lately it has gotten bad. The servers are not polite anymore. It takes twice as long for them to show up to your table in the first place, let’s not mention the wait for the food. & to top it all off — it’s cold. The coffee taste old, and lately I feel like there are flies everywhere. I’m done with this ihop.

While our server was fantastic, and the food on par with any IHOP we have ever been to, there were no less than 7 employees standing around the hostess station doing nothing while the wait staff ran around like crazy looking for silverware and table condiments. Also, sitting so close to the front of the house, we could hear the seaters talking about customers unfavorably. Finally, noticed the shift manager just«hangin» with the staff instead of solving the basic problems plaguing the servers. Don’t expect miracles, just expect a general level of professionalism.
