History

Established in 1987.

The Farnsworth Group Ltd is a medical specialty design firm established as a California Corporation in 1987.

TFG is a small firm with a staff of 4, one architect, two CAD architectural designers and clerical staff. All staff is full time, however we do employ part-​time staff when needed to aid in smooth workflow.

The President, Geoffrey Farnsworth’s has 30 years experience in healthcare of Architecture. This experience is enhanced by our insistence on requiring that every professional employee possess a similar background in our specialty areas of work in addition to general architecture.

We have designed a wide variety of medical projects covering every aspect of healthcare design. A complete listing is attached. It is because of our excellent track record that we can proudly say that the majority of our work comes from repeat business and referrals.

Geoffrey F.

Business Owner

Geoffrey Farnsworth began his career at Schmidt Garden Erikson, Chicago serving clients in healthcare, education and commercial projects. Geof was invited to open a branch office SGE West in southern California and served as principal. Later Ellerbe Associates, acquired the firm. In 1987, he formed The Farnsworth Group Ltd.

With TFG specializing in Healthcare Centers and Medical Office Buildings for over 30 years, our clients are given a comprehensive background of experience with qualification.

As Design Principal, Geof leads the project design team, providing managerial and technical leadership on each commission. His personal involvement with each project creates a responsive and client centered philosophy.
