We specialize in highly effective 1-on-1 at home swim lessons and aim to make learning to swim convenient, fast, fun and hassle-free by bringing one of our top notch swim instructors to

any pool of your choice and creating Sunsational swimmers for life. Our mission is to teach students water safety and swimming confidence quickly through individualized one-on-one private swim lessons with a patient and fun swim instructor and Guarantee students will learn to swim within only 12 lessons!

Swim Instruction can begin as early as 6 months of age up to adults, with guaranteed results beginning at 3 years old. Our private swim lessons allow the instructor to individualize the swimming lesson to meet a child’s particular needs and special abilities. Sunsational Instructors provide private swim classes for all ages including infants and toddlers, preschoolers, kids, and adults at your home or community pool.

We believe that group swim lessons are often a waste of time for parents, driving the children back and forth to lessons all summer long with little results. At Sunsational, we believe in private swim lessons and a method where kids can quickly learn how to be safer in and around the water yet still have fun and enjoy the experience. Our patient swimming instructors use a learn to swim method that delivers results in weeks, not years!

My 4 year old is doing private sessions with Kristin. She is great with him! By the second lesson my son was swimming on his own. Now half way through lessons he can do several different strokes and is very confident in the water. We are so pleased with the results!

BEWARE OF FAKE REVIEWS AND SCAMS! They give discounts for reviews!!!
I called in to inquire about lessons here for my twins to see if they had instrutors with their own pools, as I dont have one. Michael told me in order for me to figure that out I would have to do the online registration and only then would I find out who the instructors are and if they are close, have a pool etc. I started doing the registration and when I saw that there was a $ 20 per person registration fee, I called back, spoke with Michael and said that I didnt want to pay this just to figure this out and he reasured me there were no fee’s or costs, I would only be charged after getting paired with someone and scheduling lessons.
In the mean time, I get a $ 834 dollar charge on my cc for swim lessons.
When I called in and spoke to the manager, Edie, she said that she sits next to Michael and my situation was unheard of and that she would give me a refund based on what Michael says… or course Michael isnt going to tell his boss he lied to a customer, he would rather save his a** which is what happened.
So, Edie offered me a partial refund minus registration, which Michael said I WOULD NOT BE CHARGED FOR UNTIL I SCHEDULED MY LESSONS! This place is a total scam– luckily I have a great relationship with my cc company and will be given the full refund.

My 6 month old son is taking swim lessons with Britta at my family home in Laguna Beach. She is a true professional who definitely knows her stuff! I feel confident when my son is in the water with her and we are loving every second of lessons so far. registering and booking was very easy and someone walked me through the process over the phone. Also, they worked hard to find an instructor that made me feel comfortable with my infant son. I will use them again and definitely Britta again too!

Our daughter (who just turned 4) has been taking swim lessons with Joy and has made great progress. We had 8 lessons and then signed up for 8 more. We didn’t have a pool — so we met Joy at her community pool. Just before we started working with Joy, our daughter started to jump in the pool (fearlessly), but she had no swimming skills. We are very happy that our daughter listened to Joy — who was very nice, but at the same time kept our daughter focused (which she needed). After 16 lessons, our daughter can jump/dive in the pool and swim to the side. She learned how to use her arms to do both the free style and breaststroke. She has a very strong kick and now knows how to get up to get a breath. She can also float across the pool on her back. She still has work to do (as all the pieces don’t always come together), but if she falls in the pool — she can get herself oriented and back to the side. I recommend Joy and the Sunsational Swim School.

The program did what it promised. After 12 consecutive lessons (every day), my 4 year old son was able to paddle to the edge of the pool if dropped into the water. The instructor, Henny, was very good. I wouldn’t consider him «swimming», but he is basically water safe.

Jennifer is an excellent instructor. Her student, Natalie, is eight years old and learned in 12 lessons the breast stroke, freestyle, backstroke, part of the butterfly and how to kick off the wall. Natalie’s confidence has skyrocketed as a swimmer and her self esteem, too. Jennifer’s strength is that she does not baby her students or overpraise. She taught Natalie not only how to swim well but how to stick with it when it was hard. And when Natalie did well, Jennifer was quick to compliment her. Great instructor!

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed working with Lauren vonLawn. She is an excellent swim teacher. My 5 year old was not a swimmer and used a life vest in the pool. She would never go down our slide in the deep end even with the vest on. All of that has changed. Lauren taught my daughter how to swim free style and back stroke. She now knows how to float on her back and is able to tread water. She enjoys going down the slide, swims in the deep end and no longer needs a life vest or «floaty.» My daughter has become a confident swimmer, and I can truly say I no longer worry about a pool accident. I highly recommend Sunsational Swim School, and especially Lauren vonLawn!

I found your company through Craigslist — and was desperate for as many lessons in the shortest time possible for my just barely 3 year old granddaughter. We were going on a big family vacation to river with so many people/chaos and wanted this grandchild to be as safe as possible! she can be an extremely moody and difficult 3 year old, so I was a little worried but she just adored «mr Alex» and asked to have «one more lesson» at least 5x a day! He was kind and gentle and patient and always on time — and yet stern enough to make progress with her! Can’t recommend Alex Ott enough! Thanks — your company is wonderful!

Amazing company. My son loves his teacher” Karina”. During our 12 sessions she was always on time. I tried 2 different swimming schools before without any positive result. You can imagine my surprise when my son was swimming on the SECOND day with Karina. She gave me the greatest gift someone could give a mother: safety
We have a pool and for the last couple of years I was always worried about my son; for the first time I can go to work without being nervous!
I strongly recommend this company. Don’t waste your money on different swimming schools. I wish I knew them 2 years ago!

During enrollment & registration, the staff was very responsive and helpful. My instructor Sarah Than was really good. She was very patient & encouraging. I signed up for beginner semi-private lessons and she paid careful attention to both students, making custom suggestions according to individual ability & progress. I had made considerable progress after 12 lessons with freestyle stroke.

— instructors not only qualified swimmer but also good at TEACHING
— we had Denesha who is exceptionally great with the kids
— a good balance between pushing but also respecting limits
— fair price– do your research and like me you may find you are saving money to have the instructor come to you!

— we did the guarantee package but I asked the instructor not to pressure my daughter and instead concentrate on having fun with water skills without the pressure on instructor or student. The guarantee is really just a way of expressing confidence in their program– Obviously kids have free will and no one wants a negative experience from pressure. But learning to swim is likely enough in the program that they are willing to offer four free lessons to those who have that goal and don’t achieve it within 12 lessons. My younger girl, 4, has slowed down a bit at my request after an impressive start, but my older daughter (8) is progressing into the basic strokes and enjoying!

There are some pros and cons to this swim school.
The pros are: easy scheduling, easy time getting refund after we decided not to continue after 1^st lesson.
The con: the swim instructor was not that great. He showed up on time but given my kid’s hesitancy in the water, said that after 10 lessons would not be able to learn to swim. That’s ok – but he spent the first class with my daughter on his back walking back and forth. He brought minimal toys to piqué the kid’s interest. Overall didn’t seem very professional and didn’t seem like he had a lot of teaching experience. To the school’s credit, they offered to change the instructor once another one became available, but I chose not to. We went with another swim school and the kid is progressing great in swimming.
Based on this one teacher I would absolutely not recommend. The administration gets 2.5 stars and the teacher 0 – 1 star.
