Love and Lace Bridal is located in the heart of Orange County, California, in the beautiful City of Irvine. We offer gorgeous wedding gowns for the slightly non-​traditional bride. We specialize in lace dresses, flowy bottoms, dresses with sleeves and anything that is unique and amazing! We do not carry ball gowns or mermaid style dresses. We look forward to meeting you!

Established in 2013.

In 2013, our bridal salon opened its doors to the local bridal community servicing our brides for all of their needs.

We are located in the heart of Irvine, California in the Crossroads Center Shopping Center near Target.

I came to see Ramona at Love and Lace to have alterations done on my wedding gown because of all the exceptional reviews and convenient location. The shop is beautiful and Ramona extremely pleasant, but I should have known there were going to be issues when she put exactly two safety pins of the sides of the bodice she was taking in and being made a sweetheart neckline. Two weeks later I came back, put on my dress and started crying. My dress looked awful, not only was it too tight but the lining underneath my big tulle skirt was rippling and the bodice created muffin tops in a place that there were none! My dress was a princess style… even if there were muffin tops in that kind of dress you should never see them!
In response to my crying Ramona had no solutions other than to either charge me to let it out or for me and that I should come back next week when I calmed down. Are you kidding? 3 weeks out from my wedding and I should come back when I calm down.right. Also she informed me she would not be there next time because she was going on maternity leave. I asked, so who is going to fix this dress? She responded that she doesn’t even do any of the alterations but that she has a team of seamstresses. So she puts two pins in you and then hands you off to a seamstress? No matter my dress was completely ruined. Needless to say I pulled my dress and took it to Sun Rose alterations is HB. As soon as I got in Rose put a million pins in my dress, told me that Ramona and her team did the job completely horribly and the reason it was two tight in the lining was because the sewed it into the bodice. May I also mention she quoted me HALF of what Ramona did including the cost for fixing her mess up.
I just got married Saturday and my dress was stunning, do not stress your self out before your big day like was and drive a little out of your way for alterations that are so important.

LOVE AND LACE SAVED THE DAY! My wedding dress was purchased at a bridal boutique in Las Vegas. It arrived a few months before the wedding and it fit HORRIBLY. Despite my measurements not changing since my original fitting… the back was about 2 inches from closing, the bust was too big, and the waist fit perfectly. The fit didn’t make sense at all! I was panicking, but decided to take my dress to Love and Lace after reading some great reviews. As soon as I put on my dress at Love and Lace, I instantly was reassured that although the fit was odd… the problem could and would be fixed. Every time I went in for a fitting, I felt more and more excited about my dress and it slowly began to transform into the dress I had wanted! They also were so excited to sew buttons from my mother’s wedding dress onto mine to be used for my bustle. Their prices are BEYOND reasonable and the service is impeccable. I was so happy with the fit of my dress and I will be using them for ALL of my tailoring in the future. Love and Lace is the BEST!

I chose this place for alterations on a bridesmaid dress that I ordered from a bridal shop in Philadelphia. The dress sizing was off, and the ladies here had to take it in. They did a terrific job taking in it and hemming the dress to the perfect length. Once these alterations were made, they also helped take in the bust, since it gaped a bit. It was a strapless, low-​back dress, so it was essential that it fit properly with no wardrobe malfunctions. They did a fantastic job! The dress stayed in place all day and all night. The total cost of the alterations was a bit pricey, but not out of line with what you would expect from a high-​quality bridal tailor. I would definitely put my trust in this place for alterations that need to be done right!

I had made a bridal appointment already and I called them to ask them to add a note onto my appointment saying that I would like to try on a specific gown. The girl who answered the phone was extremely rude saying that that dress is over the budget I had indicated. I said that that dress was the one I liked after finding it online on the Hungarian designer’s website and that if I liked the dress in person I would go to Budapest to buy the dress since my wedding will be in Europe. She then responded in an extremely rude tone saying «so you’re using us as your dress room» and went on to explain that they are a small store and it would be the same price anyway buying the dress at their store or in Budapest. I told her that I emailed the boutique in Budapest and asked the specific price for that dress and it was much cheaper for me than their price at Love and Lace, and that if I didn’t like the dress I would be happy to see other dresses in their store. I understand that she wanted a sale but there was no sense of customer service whatsoever and completely wrote me off before I could even go to the appointment, so I cancelled my appointment with them knowing that it would not be a fruitful one. I can’t say anything about the service of the consultants themselves nor about their tailoring skills but I can tell you that judging from this phone call, I do not recommend this place. I got the impression that all they want is to get the most profit out of the brides.

let’s add in an interesting way of handling negative reviews and unhappy customers. my consultant never noted when a dress was over budget. and phrases like «look at a price tag yourself» that’s what the consultants are there for, to make the experience fluid and relaxing. (if I had been notified that the dresses were marked I also probably would have glanced but that was never brought to my attention) I’m not freely shopping in Nordstrom browsing racks for day to day clothes.

I worked with Ramona to tailor my BHLDN dress. They do a lot of alterations including this dress frequently so had it down. I had concerns leading up regarding it fitting but Ramona assured me it would be fine and it turned out beautiful!
We did 2 fittings to ensure the fit would work. I highly recommend for quality alterations and Ramona is so sweet and really loves what she does.

I’m ordering my wedding dress from a lady on Etsy, but I came here to get my measurements taken. The girl was very nice and helpful and they didn’t charge me to take all the measurements.
When I get my dress in about 2 months, I will definitely be bringing it here for any alterations.

I ordered my wedding dress from BHLDN online and had very little time to get alterations done. I bought it less than 2 months before the wedding. My friend highly recommended Ramona at Love and Lace Bridal so I called and made an appointment to come in. She was out sick when I came in and her mom took amazing care of me. The dress was too tight and wouldn’t zip in back and the torso was too long for my short frame. Her mom knew exactly what to do to make it perfect. I was worried, but she was very reassuring and told me it would fit me beautifully come my wedding day. I came in two weeks later and met Ramona for my first fitting. I completely forgot my bra, slip, shoes, etc. it was not great on my end but Ramona was amazing and calmed me down because at this point I was becoming a nervous bride. She was so sweet and let me come back in a week with everything I forgot the first time and have another fitting. She even gave me jewelry advice. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a necklace but with the neckline on the dress she helped me decide that it would be really pretty with a necklace. About two weeks before my big day, I paid for and took my dress home after my final fitting feeling completely in love with my dress. Ramona had transformed the entire dress to fit my body perfectly. I had my dream wedding with my dream man in my dream dress. I couldn’t ask for a better day. Thank you, Ramona for making this day extra special for me and for holding my hand through the process. You are amazing!

Huge shout-​out to Ramona! I bought my dress elsewhere, and was quoted over 1k for alterations. So I took my dress to Love & Lace based off Unilocal reviews, and they were much more reasonable in pricing and the staff is so friendly. I had four appointments, the last being the final fitting where I took it home the week prior to the wedding. She finished all my alterations for my wedding dress in less than two months.
One downside, we opted for a French bustle on my dress since the lace was so heavy, but the bustle still ended up breaking… I had to hold my train for 3 hours during the reception. I can’t even knock off a star for that incident, Ramona and staff really did an amazing job and were so accommodating– the bustle breaking was not their fault.
Will highly recommend future brides to come here!

I LOVE Love and Lace Bridal. Damaris was so helpful with me when I came in for the first time to try on different dresses with my Mom. They were thoughtful of my budget and actually had set aside a couple floor samples for me to try on as they were half off because I was sample size in some bridal designers. It was super helpful of them to do that as they knew I was on a budget.
They have been so good to me throughout my wedding journey. I have come in numerous times to just see my dress and try it on for friends, bridesmaids, family etc that are out of town. They will be doing my very minor alterations for my wedding in June and I have the utmost trust that they will come out perfectly.
Fantastic customer service. Their store is so lovely, you instantly feel the bridal feels and they place nice music, it smells amazing, & the whole layout is wonderful.
They even gave me a gift after we purchased my dress with a shirt that says Love & Lace Bride with a «Mrs» necklace. SO ADORABLE!
I am telling everyone about my experience as it was so positive. Ramona is a fantastic owner and she really goes the extra mile for her clients. They are thoughtful and considerate of you every step of the decision process. I never felt pressured like I was being sold on something I didn’t want. I had visited many stores before deciding on my dress and this was by far the best experience out of them all!

I came here on two occasions. The first time, I didn’t make an appointment and walked in about an hour before closing. Even so, Ramona was very kind and helpful to me. I got a bridesmaid dress altered. The work was well done and at a fair price. The second time, I made an appointment to get my dress altered, but am not going through with it. It was a bridesmaid dress I was using for my own wedding. I just wanted to say that Ramona was so patient, helpful, and creative! I feel bad for taking her time and not going through with it, but at least I know I have a good seamstress in town for next time :)

While the alteration services offered are reasonably priced and have good first point of contact customer service, the workmanship was sub par. Many returns were made for obvious corrections and were done unwillingly. It seems they have enough business to pick and choose the distance they will go to satisfy customer’s expectations. Time to find an alternate tailor.

BEYOND AMAZING!!!
I can’t even begin to explain how HAPPY I am. I didn’t buy my dress there but I wish I would have after I saw all their gourgous gowns. The owner did my alterations (Ramona) and I couldn’t stop hugging her for everything she did for me. She is honest, sweet & new me by name after the first visit. I can tell each dress and each client is so very special to her. My dress alterations were perfect. She even hand sowed my belt on when other places said to iron it on. She knew better than that and said that’s would ruin my lace dress. I trusted her with the most important part of my wedding and she does NOT disappoint. Blessed to have found her in the knick of time (2months before wedding). I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family. I can’t thank her enough. The proof is in her work!!!

Ramona and Damari are incredible at what they do! Loved the experience of coming here as they are so incredibly welcoming and accommodating and most of all, patient! They give you quality time and listen to all your needs without feeling rushed or pressured! I would recommend all brides to go here for your first (and hopefully only) wedding dress hunt!

I took my mom’s wedding dress here to get it cut at the knee so that I can wear it at my rehearsal dinner. Brought it in, took measurements and boom — the perfect rehearsal dinner dress for $ 80.
I’ll also be brining my wedding dress back here in a couple months to shorten and add a bustle. The staff is accommodating and the prices are reasonable. They even gave me a couple different options to potentially save money. Thanks, Love and Lace!

I bought my dress at another location (which is a shame because there are very beautiful dresses here!) and brought in the dress to this location for alterations.
Kudos to this alterations shop to accept outside wedding dresses, a lot of shops refused to alter any outside dresses (including David’s Bridal!!).
I went to various bridal shops and felt most comfortable here with Ramona. She treated me like a friend, not just another client. You can tell she really truly loves her job. The price quote I got was extremely reasonable! Her hours are also very flexible and accommodating (another major issue I found, lots of shops were too busy to even have me come in for a price quote on my days off).
I already went to one fitting and am looking forward to the second!

I bought my dress downtown and I needed to have it taken in and a bustle added. I Unilocaled and looked around and decided to go with this place. It was really hard to pick a place since a lot of alteration/​wedding places have both really positive and negative reviews so you don’t know who to trust. This place just seemed to have more positive alteration reviews and I figure it’s in Irvine, they’re probably held to a higher standard. Very glad I did, the whole experience was painless and easy!
+Nice staff. I believe Ramona is the owner and the one who helped me. She was very nice and straight forward. She told me what she could do and how long it would take. She also offered advice which I appreciated. Ramona also remembered my name after the first visit and always addressed me by my first name. I thought that added a really personal touch.
+Reasonable prices. To take my dress in, add french bustle, and sew a belt on it cost $ 280. It’s not the cheapest price but definitely not the highest. They did a grab job on it and I was able to come in for several fittings before they finalized it. This is so if you gain/​lose weight they can still adjust for you.
+Timely. I would set up my fittings during my lunch hour and I’d be in and out within 30 minutes for each fitting.
+Beautiful store. It doesn’t hurt that the whole store is really pretty and there are so many vintage looking, lacy dresses everywhere to look at. I wish I would have came here to dress shop!
