At The Beach Tanning Superstore

Liars. Posted as «Remodeling.» on the third day, I saw the workers sitting at the desk, and made them open the door so I could ask how long the remodel would take. «oh, probably one or two more days.» Whatever. Three locations closed suddenly. Great that they aren’t charging my credit card anymore, but would’ve been nice to have received an email or letter from Corporate.

I saw the sign for remoldeling weeks ago, just confirmed by RSM employee that both Irvine locations will not re open. I checked my monthly auto pay on my CC and was delighted to see they cancelled any further transactions and was not charged this month. I am sad to see this place go, it was convinient, clean and had super friendly staff. Always a 5 star rating on Unilocal,but I understand it wasnt making enough money and the rent was high.

Under construction. So u can pay, have all locations closed until they feel like opening. Went to tan closed at 8:30 pm. No notice when they will reopen.
Spray tan always broken. Place is a joke. Don’t join. Drive further away. This place blows.

Did a really bad job got tanning spray got all over my clothes and the customer service was very poor. Find another tanning salon because you will not be satisfied with at the beach tanning salon on barranca

Amazing customer service always a pleasure coming in to see these ladies. The store is always clean and the girls are so knowledgeable. I’m always in and out quick.

This place is so conveniently close to my house and it’s really nice inside. Kendra is so sweet and is so credible with her information. She knows all there needs to know about the tans. Thank you guys!

I usually do the regular versa but I just tried the versa pro for the first time with double spray on the legs… I think it was a better experience overall with more dry passes in between treatments. Excited to see how it develops. Great, friendly staff too. Would recommend for sure.

I have had many tans over the last few years and I have been at this ovation for maybe 4 months
The first time I went my knees never room and when I showed the lady she told me that she has never ever. Seen it before and would only redo it if she got the ok from her manager
Today I walked in again to cancel my membership as after two days I have no tan
The lady Christina was so rude
Had she even tried to fix the problem or apologize I would not have cancelled
She totally did not care
After I left I went back to the store to ask her name and she was speaking about me to another client who was there
I am furious
This place is also way more expensive and I am never stepping foot back in there
Don’t waste your time or money

I have been a huge tanner for years and I just left my current tanning place that I’ve been at for five years and now I am going to AT THE BEACH. I loooove it there because the beds are great quality, I never have to wait, and the girls are so nice. I will be a devoted fan for years, I know it!
I also love that it’s next to a target. Two birds with one stone.

I have never experienced such unethical business practices. They suddenly switched all of their month to month payment structures to a 12-​month contract. The pricing seemed reasonable and I tan often so I thought it made sense. But then, without warning, their store goes into construction completely and unusable. But I am still being charged each month and the other location doesn’t even have the upgraded beds I pay for. I am not getting a response from them.
1 star for the mere fact that they are crooks.

I was a member at a different salon for yrs, but when i moved, it was too far of a drive for me. ATB was literally walking distance to my new place so I decided to give them a shot.
They offer a lot of different packages. Some included unlimited usage of certain beds, or their spray tanning. Packages range from 19 a month to 99 a month. I went with a mid priced package that included up to a level three tanning bed.
The beds are decent. They are not the newest, but the bulbs are always good, and they get the job done. The salon is always clean, and there is usually never a wait. One perk is that as a member you can tan at any of their stores, which is nice, because they have a lot of locations.
One con, which is what most people seem to mention, is the upselling, or selling in general. I buy my own lotion (salons are a rip-​off) yet they always pitch some kind of lotion deal to me, proceeded by a drawn out explanation of why lotion is great. I get it, thats why i buy my own. If it’s not a lotion pitch it’s an upgrade pitch, or a weekly special pitch. I get that it is probably the company that makes them do this, but it’s annoying to go through this every time I go in to tan.
Overall, a decent spot.
