Established in 1977, FIRING-​LINE provides the first indoor shooting ranges available in Los Angeles and Orange counties. Located in Huntington Beach, Calif., it provides the facility to learn the use of firearms and handling it in a safe way. FIRING-​LINE offers a wide range of services for customers, including fully stocked pro shop with a wide variety of cleaning and shooting supplies, providing safety equipment for all shooters, shooting all handgun calibers through .44 Magnum as well as handgun and rifle rentals where many calibers, brands and models are available. Additionally, it offers firearm safety and shooting instruction for the public and security Guard and CCW training.

You can’t beat the customer service at this place. Albert took great care of me and my girlfriend! It was our first time here and he walked us through the process. He was more than happy to help us with whatever we needed. I highly recommend this place for anyone!

The basic intro class they offer on Saturday am’s is really good. Gives you the basics, makes you feel comfortable. Steve is very serious about gun safety but makes the class light and entertaining, until you have a firearm in your hand, then it is all business.
I became a member that morning. All the employees, are all so nice and really knowledgeable. The class really just made me feel confident and comfortable to go to the range on my own. Next step, pick my favorite gun, become proficient at shooting it, CCW…

Great place to shoot, bought a AR style .22 rifle (colt m4 ops) and recently got a membership here. Your membership would work with any of their three locations and free gun rentals w/​the membership! Ammo prices could be lower but aren’t too bad compared to shooting ranges in the area. Staff is also very friendly and helpful

Got my wife and I our membership in November and go at least once a week, the staff are top notch and very helpful. Any question my wife and I may have the staff has the answer. Today was the first time we went and found all lanes in use, only had a 10 minute wait. Hats off to the Huntington Beach facility and its awesome staff. When your there ask for Albert he is very knowledgeable and friendly just as they are.

My wife and I came here for beginners shooting lessons. Great experience from instructor Steve. We felt welcome and not at all intimidated by literally knowing nothing beforehand. Instructor has a great attitude, is very knowledgeable, and very encouraging. The other range staff were friendly and efficient at getting us rental guns. I would definitely recommend this indoor shooting range.

Best indoor shooting range on the west coast
Fast service. I came in with a large group and they had us shooting in under five minutes. Talk to Steve for any firearm questions. Good way to release alot of stress on a weekend. Check them out!

Great place and service. Came on wens night w/​my friend, and it was my first time. Everything went smooth and the guy was nice enough to give us a discount! Great place, we fired 150 rounds, and everything came out to be ~$ 70 for 2 people. Keep in mind we shot 150 rounds, so if you’re doing 50 rounds should be around $ 40. Check this place out! :)

Came here with an old friend to meditate and let off some stress. In all honesty I was shaken up by the San Bernie attack. The local girl victim fr Santa Ana ended up being an old childhood friend’s cousin. As a «helpless» woman I want to be prepared. I’ve gone shooting before but it doesn’t matter, every time you hear that «boom» it will make you jump outta your skin! It’s scary yet liberating and fun at the same time to actually learn how to properly use a gun. I don’t plan on using one but it gives me peace of mind to know how to work one.
I like that it’s tucked away in a quiet culdesac, very local and the people there are nice and informative. Theres parking on the street as well as a small lot. There’s two rooms in this intimate range, with about 10 or so lanes in each. Prices are reasonable but the annual membership is where it’s at! Definitely worth it if you plan to go often. It’s clean and friendly and that’s what keeps us coming back.

I’m still new to shooting but the employees here really know what they’re talking about. i started with several 9 mm, but still was looking for a better fit, Albert suggested a barretta and it was a instant match with a few of his pointers. the facility is clean and safe. i liked my first impression so much i signed up for the annual membership.

So this place rocks. I was treated very nicely. The range master was totally cool. I even let him try out my new Cz Sp01. This is not your typical late 65 year old gun smith yelling at everyone. My new range of choice. Thank you

This place is pretty cool. Came here with my friend and we shot 50 rounds each with a glock. This place provides you with guns, eyewear protection, ear covers, target paper, ammo, etc for sale and rent. For two people it would be around $ 45! You have to pay them a $ 10 fee for shooting at their range, usually you have to buy bullets here, but if you decide to bring your own bullets, you have to let them know just for safety reasons, and for the target papers. They sell it individually or in a pack. It varies. Usually we get 5 for $ 2! You can check out their website for more information.
They hold your IDs until you’re done with the rounds or whenever you want to leave just for your information!

This is a good basic shooting range. Great for beginners and locals to shoot hand guns. Their rates are comparable to most ranges. If you’re not a member, expect to pay for:

I will give big kudos to their ‘basic handgun’ course on Saturday. For anyone that is new to guns this was a very informative crash course. It’s about 3 hours and you’ll feel be well informed.

Usually I don’t much like indoor ranges… I prefer outdoors… but with the nearest spot from OC being out by Barstow and 2 hour drive… I have to utilize the firing line occasionally.
That said… it’s a nice set up. No complaints except it can get pretty warm in there.
Staff has always been professional and helpful. Prices are reasonable. For indoors… it’s my «go to»

Shot handguns and shotguns before with friends but wanted formal training. Steve was awesome! Very knowledgeable, good pace, proper training with a great attitude. Really appreciated his military background and teaching information/​style. Serious topic with a sense of humor.
Definitely worth the money. Goes beyond just gun safety. Builds on platform of proper basics and knowledge.
Looking forward to becoming a member to hone new proper skills.

Fulfilled a birthday wish for my daughter (thanks grandma) and took her to learn how to handle a gun. Her and two of her brothers had great instruction by Sergeant Steve. They all enjoyed it very much. Steve’s instruction was thorough and very understandable with a hint of humor. All my kids agreed that the knowledge ran deep.
The staff at the Firing Line were all very helpful and personable. Overall it was a fun experience and we may be going back…

Great!
I came here with my two nephews and one of my nieces for her birthday. Our ages, from youngest to oldest, are 13, 16, 16, 17. There was a child (about 9) who took the class with us, as well as a few adults. So this place really is great for any age range.
Steve taught our group how to operate the basics of a gun and as very patient with us all. As well as patient, he was also very funny and relieved a lot of the tension and anxiety in the room for first-​time shooters like myself. He showed us everything we needed to know to do well on the firing range.
He let us choose our own hand-​guns, depending on our confidence and ability. The staff was very nice and patient with out entire group. When we were done Steve told us honestly how we did and how we could improve.
I’m for sure coming back!
