This is the perfect place to come to get rude service. Came in to get a quick key copy on my lunch break. The lady helping me was extremely nice to the lady in front of me, but when I walked up after and said«Hello!» she just let out a snicker, no greeting back. «I’d like a copy of this key please.» She grabs my key off the counter with her monstrous grip, shoves my key in the machine and turns it on. She tells me «I’ll be right back» with a unenthusiastic look, walks a few steps away and Unilocal to her colleague«girl, I need to take my break». Needless to say she left me there stranded for 20 minutes before what I’m guessing was the floor manager asked me if I needed anything. Another associate who was obviously agitated at the fact that she had to leave her previous task to tend to the line of folks waiting to get their keys copied. There are other options with much better customer service close to this location.

Man I usually have bad service at Home Depots but this one was absolutely horrendous. Long story short– I was offered the big ass ladder to get my own tool 25 ft in the air. No one offered to help. And my original sales guy just left me there before I went to ask for someone else. That whole place needs new employees.

How is it that a home improvement store of the caliber of Home Depot doesn’t know enough to keep sprinklers on the shelves during a drought? When I went in this weekend, there was not one sprinkler of any kind — ANYKIND — on the shelves in either of 2 different departments. You know that saying, «You can’t sell what you don’t have»? You’d think that would be obvious. If I were management, I’d have a serious sit-down with whoever does their ordering because they obviously didn’t do their job. I already know what HD’s response to this review will be: we’re in a drought, we didn’t see this coming, we can’t keep up with the demand. Really? You didn’t know Houston was going to be hot in the summer? Is this the first summer we’ve had high temps? Kind of doubt it. Anyway, if HD is going to stay competitive and not alienate their customers, they need to keep on top of things a little better than they’re doing presently.

I like this location… it’s right at the corner of 10 and the Beltway so pretty easy to get to. Bought some paint and mulch and both employees were very helpful and gave good advice.

Every time I go to this location I have to go off on a scavenger hunt just to find a) exactly what I need, or b) someone to HELP me find what I need. Today is Saturday — the perfect day to work on building projects. I was there at 12:30pm and absolutely NOONE was there in hardware. I finally shouted, «is anyone working in hardware today???» but still no one appeared. I went up an isle and looked to my right and saw 2 employees chatting in the break room. I yelled so they would hear me at the end of the isle, «HEY!!!». I made direct eye contact with both of them and it was clear I needed assistance. They looked at me and continued to chat. Finally, one of them asked if I needed assistance. I said yes and he came to help me. He did work in the hardware department. Another employee came over and he asked the other employee for help with the heavy lifting, then this guy disappeared. I must say, this new guy was far more helpful. I wish I’d gotten his name because I would exclude him from these negative comments. He not only helped me load the workbench I needed onto the cart, but he got me through checkout and loaded it into my car. I wish the other employees were like this guy. But I want service like that I have to go to the Home Depot further down I-10. Unfortunately, this one is closer to home.

I spent several weeks trying to special order sliding patio door. The installer that was supposed to take measurements got sick and cancelled, then disappeared. I called the door and window departments and stopped by the store several times and no one was in the department because of sickness, vacation, death in family, etc. I spoke to the manager Chris, and all he can do is tell me to take a note and tell me that I will hear from someone tomorrow(of course I didn’t). I went into the store one Friday and no one was staffing that department. However, that time I got a hold of one of their Pro Associates, Juan Morales, who came to my rescue. Although he wasn’t working the department and was getting off, he spent 45 minutes placing the order for me(all during the time when has was supposed to have already left the store). He was very helpful and took his time to save me $$ on my order. If it wasn’t for him, I would have taken the measurements straight to Lowe’s and never came back. I am waiting on the doors now. I really hope the right ones show up!

Tucked away off the intersection of I-10 and beltway 8. I love that they are open at 6:30 am! Great way to check off this off my to-do list. Staff here is super helpful and friendly! Easy returns no hassle. Every time I go to hardware stores make me feel all crafty and want to do renovations.

Between Hobby Hobby and Sams Club at the corner of the Beltway and 10. The location can be hard to get to depending on which way you are going on the freeway. Other than that this location seemed to have more in stock they some locations I have been too. Was able to find the items I needed with ease. I liked their pond equipment section in particular, because not all hardware stores in general carry much of those items year round.

I despise going to Home Depot and Lowe’s. Men here can be so nasty and gawk at me like they’ve never seen a woman before. This outing to Home Depot was much more pleasant. A female associate assisted me with purchasing a Weber BBQ. She was extremely friendly and helpful. She also called on male employee to assist me out to the car. He was extremely courteous and friendly as well. I will now go out of my way to go to this location when in need of a Home Depot outing.
