This is a terrible place to stay. We booked three rooms and all of them had vermin infestations. The manager(Estelle, B) was very unhelpful and advised that the property has«lots of trees» and that vermin is a common problem in Houston. I realise that this is a motel; however the state of affairs does not warrant even that classification. At $ 80/night I would expect better. No compensation or courtesy was offered. Instead I was dismissed with a suggestion to call guest relations.

I have stayed here over the last 5 years over 1year of that time not a grand hotel but look at what you pay your choice The front desk people have been nice and friendly we have had our problems but with having 2 to 4 rooms at a time there are always problems You need to look at these rooms as short term apartments when you get a room clean as you would if you lived in it Buy bug spray and use like you have to in your on home If your house doesn’t have a bug or roach then your special Its cheap so sometimes it looks like people staying here you might not want to hang out with are out side but they on the most part give you no trouble I have had good experience at this extended stay hotel Kids play out side during day but thats life Chill out people and enjoy the cheap convenience of a home away from home You make of it what you want it to be

There are some things in life that you just don’t skimp on. Airbags for one. How about seafood? Plumbing should be on that list too. Clean water is a pretty high priority for me. And now, safe hotels are added. I’m not a huge snob about hotels. I don’t really understand spending hundreds of dollars on a place that you’ll spend 8 hours sleeping and doing nothing else. However. If during your 8 hours you cannot sleep because you’re afraid that your car will be broken into, your room will be broken into, the place will burn down, there will be a gang shoot out in the parking lot, the city will come and condemn it in the middle of the night and bulldoze the place immediately.. .…perhaps it is time to choose another hotel. Think I’m exaggerating? I pull into my grandparent’s motel and am immediately checking to see if our doors are locked. There are dozens of people lounging around the parking lot aimlessly and I doubt half of them actually had reservations there. We pull around and hit a dead end. We have to drive back through that group. We get on the correct side of the motel and see my grandparents peaking out the window. Between our car and their car, the property value of this motel has quadrupled. We hurriedly grab our things and get going to dinner. After our meal, we take them back to the motel and it is still light outside. There’s another large group of people lounging around, but this time they’re all congregated in the room next door to my grandparents. They’re leaning all over the cars in the area(including my grandparent’s) while drinking and talking outside. I’m the only woman in sight under the age of 60 and am immediately accosted by 40 eyes. Awkward. After we rush inside and sit, our conversation is continuously interrupted by the noise outside. Not only is there quite a bit of chatter from the people next door(Nextels have to be the most obnoxious invention ever), but with the traffic and sirens going on right outside, it is a bit distracting(yes, having a hotel in the crux of two major highways can be convenient, but way too loud). Soon, all the noise dies down and we start worrying even more. It is the old theory that if there’s no sound, that means that someone is up to no good. I ask again if they don’t want to stay at our place, and they decline – bravely. We head out to our car, surprised that it isn’t stripped or completely missing. After locking our doors and making sure my grandparents were safely tucked away inside their hell hole, we drove away feeling like we needed a shower.
