This shop is one the most personable and professional shops I’ve been too lately. I returned with my X5 to see why my car was leaking after I got an oil change a couple weeks ago, and they quickly looked at it. Raul is always so friendly. He welcomes you by name and even offered me his creamer out of the back while I made a cup of hot coffee from the mini coffee bar. I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to return because of an oil leak that wasn’t there prior to me getting an oil change, which Auto Check completed for me; however their services are warranted. Overall, I like the shop and will continue to return.

I LOVE this place! I’m so greatful that I can get my oil changed this late in the afternoon and on Christmas Eve to boot! Raul greeted me as I walked in, got me going on the oil change, and offered me a refreshment! This customer service that used to be customary, is so rare to find anymore. Especially in the big city. I’ve been taking both my cars here for about five years. Found out about them when I had tires bought from Tire Rack delivered to them for install. They charged a reasonable install price and I was impressed enough with their service that I had them bid on some major work that had to be done on my wife’s Lexus RX330. They came in significantly below the price of Clear Choice (who brags that they are 20% cheaper than the Lexus dealer), and did an excellent job. Very honest and professional front office personnel, a friendly and accommodating owner, and a convenient drop off service when my car is in for the day. I’ve even gotten a loaner car a couple of times when they had to keep my car overnight to finish up some work. Highly recommend.

It was that time where I had to get my yearly state car inspection and was dreading it all day, mostly because whenever I did these, I always had my go to mechanic back at my hometown and had no idea where to go in Houston. As I was already in the energy corridor area for a Pilates class, I checked Unilocal and found this place.
Came in without an appointment at 4:09 and left around 4:25. Fast, efficient, customer friendly and got the job done! What else would you want for an auto repair place? They even had a nice and clean air conditioned waiting area with interesting reads like Ripley’s believe it or not and Guinness world records (if those float your boat, and in my case, yes they most certainly do). I was honestly writing an etsy review and was thinking of what to type when the mechanic came back with my car and keys ready to go. I didn’t even get to finish.
Great place to check out for your car troubles! Also if it’s your first time they offer a $ 10 off any service for Unilocalers.

Decided to go a little further out to get an oil change here since they got good reviews, everything definitely checks out.
Service was very professional and the mechanic was very knowledgeable. Work was done quickly and everything looks good. Definitely coming back in the future

Excellent service & good price. Got an oil change & State inspection in less than an hour. Had a Tire leak that I had not been able to locate. They found a nail in the tire & fixed that too. Clean comfortable waiting area & friendly staff. I’ll go there again.

i’m giving this place a 4 stars for now. i had no problems but i’ll need to go a few more times before i feel comfortable giving a 5.

Unilocal said this place is great. Okay. I walk in at 8:30am on a Wednesday morning and there were no other customers there. I needed an inspection and I saw they do car wash as well so I asked for both. ETC was an hour and a half. They offered to take me home and pick me up when it was done. I said sure I can get some laundry done. I was dropped off my home at 845 and I live 5mins away.
I called at 11 and asked about my car and they said they are just starting to vacuum and it will be another 20mins and they’ll send someone to get me. I didn’t get picked up until almost noon. It threw off my whole morning schedule. I took a day off from work to get stuff done. I woke up early and I got to this place early enough to get this crossed off my list before lunch. I was expecting it to be done by 11 at least.
The people were very nice, Sergio was kind enough to drive me back and forth. Next time, I’m just going to wait it out on the couch in their waiting area. Probably a quicker service that way.

I stopped here to get my car inspected because of all of the Unilocal reviews. They were all right, because I was in and out in under 45 minutes. The service was friendly and you could tell that they knew what they were doing. I will definitely be back for my inspection next year, and probably a few oil changes too!
I also saved $ 10 for checking in with the Unilocal app.

Months ago I endured an unpleasant experience getting new tires when Matthew, the previous manager, would not own up to the damages to my wheels upon installation. I left feeling frustrated, helpless and cheated.
But Sam, the new owner, is the polar opposite; he called me up and offered to rectify the problem and went out of his way to ensure my experience was positive. There could not be a better display of great customer service and is evidence that Sam truly believes in treating customers with care and respect.
I will be back one day!

Just had my AC fixed and am extremely satisfied. They went above and beyond and also cleaned my car, as well as dropped me off to and from work. The owner updated me throughout the day, the communication was great. Thank you!

I brought my car in for a suspected wheel bearing issue. They quickly diagnosed that and also brought another issue to my attention. Despite the unexpected issue (an engine problem), I never once felt like I was being taken advantage of. They gave me a free loaner vehicle to use, and gave my car a quick detail before I picked it up. We ended up with a large, unexpected, repair bill but I was very happy with the service I received. The 10% Unilocal coupon saved a pretty significant chunk of money, which is always a good thing. Overall, I am very happy with my entire experience and will definitely be back.

Sam brought out the cabin filter to actually show me it was dirty– most mechanics don’t take the time.

I’ve used these guys for a couple of years now and they always take great care of me and my car. They offer to drive me to work and pick me up when I drop my car off, they call me before any repairs and explain in detail why I may need it, and when I decline they never push to do the work. This is the type of place that has always exceeded your expectations of a «car repair shop.»
I never really thought about writing a review until recently because they have just always given me the service I expected, really — that is until work they did earlier this year caught up with me. Stay with me now… I had my passenger front axle replaced in May 2014. One night in October 2014, it broke — unbeknownst to me what was causing my car to not move. I have roadside assistance, so I called and had my car towed to a (newly acquired friend’s) shop thinking it was the transmission, and was going to have him take a look at it before I decided what to do with it. He called me back and said it was the front passenger axle. I told him to replace it so I could get my car back quickly and then realized, I just had this done a few months ago. I called Auto Check One and they said to bring the car and they’d take a look. I told that I already had it replaced, so they said bring the part by. I brought the part by and Sam came out and took the part inside and said send him the receipt from the shop. They verified it was the part they installed via serial numbers and within days, they had reimbursed me for the parts AND LABOR from the other shop. They’ve went above and beyond to take care of me, and I couldn’t think of taking my car anywhere else.
it’s one thing to have a clean, courteous and up-​to-​date repair shop, but add on exceptional customer service, and you’ve got a lifetime customer.

Took my car and my girlfriends car in for an inspection. They were done by mid afternoon after we dropped it off. No one likes taking their car in for repairs but this place has definitely earned our business. The guys working were extremely nice and the lobby/​waiting room was impeccable.

I have been to this service center a few times for engine light on, repairs, oil change etc. and they never fail to impress. The staff is courteous esp. Moe, they are genuine with their estimates and with their service.
The gist is that they know their stuff. They would explain it to you in depth about any information you need about the repairs.
I would go again.

This business is super convenient as it’s very close to my office, but even more so, if you need, they can pick you up/​drop you off.
I’ve always had a great experience with them, everyone here has a great attitude, and it just makes my day.
They do a free check on your car when you bring it in (I usually have it brought in for an oil change) and they’ll let you know what may be needed replacing or repairs. However, they never push me or make me feel obligated to do so at their place.

I despise having to get stuff done to my car! However, these Houston streets and this Houston heat are beating up my little 350Z!
I first had AAA tow my car here after my radiator blew up (through no fault of mine!)
And I took a chance on this little shop tucked back off the streets that when they walked in on Monday morning and found my keys dropped at their door, they would take good care of me and my car.
I was not disappointed!

They took the time to explain everything, they were patient when I wanted to relay the info to my boyfriend because I didn’t really know what they were talking about (yea, I’m one of those, Lol) and they are big on keeping you informed periodically.
They are avid users of technology and quickly emailed me pricing and such and added to my comfort of not being there in person. My car was done when they said it would be done and when I came to pick it up, they made recommendations and that was it! No pushiness, no pressure and I looovvveee that!
I recently went back and had some work done that they had recommended as well as my state inspection and… GREAT SERVICE AGAIN!!!
I can’t say enough about this team… they are now my reliable source for car «stuff»!
