Established in 2007.

In 2007 we decided to move our families to Texas. It was a great migration. We packed up everything (including the pasture), buckled in the kids (because it’s the law) and settled in the beautiful hill country.

The move led us to develop the Art of Mooving. It’s a new way to get you and your belongings from here to there in a pleasant, fun, safe and satisfying way. Our Austin movers aren’t temps or subs, they’re people we know and trust. We pack our own trucks, so your stuff is in the same capable hooves from start to finish.

Manager

Chris was born and raised just south of Houston. After high school Chris took off to College Station where his Aggie roots were firmly planted. Shortly after, Chris came to work for us at Square Cow. It was obvious from the start that Chris was uniquely gifted to manage and lead. He shot up the ladder quickly. Once Chris made himself indispensable to our team we knew he was the best option to manage the Houston branch.

This is the best moving company I have used to date, and they are quite reasonably priced. I had three movers assist me from moving from my apartment to a three-​story townhouse. I was super impressed by how professional, courteous and efficient the movers were. My townhouse was quite challenging since there were curved staircases going up to the third floor, but they moved all of my bedroom furniture up to the third level without any damage.
I fully intend on moving Square Cow Moovers again the next time I move, or more likely sooner if I have to move heavy furniture between floors in my home.

This was the smoothest move I have ever had! James, Andrew and Harry were VERY professional right from the start. They greet you and make you feel comfortable, they do walk throughs and really take care of your belongings by wrapping them well. Even though it was a long day, this crew was giving it their all the entire time! Thank you so much for the best moving experience ever. We will hire you every move from here on out!

These guys were awesome! They’re very polite and professional, arrived on time, and handled all of our belongings with care as if it were their own. I would definitely recommend them on your next move. Chris was the main contact and he scheduled the booking and provided the quote within an hour of reaching out to Square Cow. Their pricing was average to other businesses in the Houston area and they don’t require «overtime /​after 5pm» for moves that go beyond that time in the evening. Definitely an A+++ business. I filled in the quick quote online mid-​afternoon on Tuesday 1÷19÷2016, and they called me a couple hours later to confirm what needed to be moved. I told them I needed them as soon as possible, and they scheduled to move me for 8 am the very next day. I was moving my items from a storage unit to a 1 bedroom apartment in the same town, Chris & Julius arrived right on time, filled up their very large truck with my bigger furniture pieces (i.e. armoire, dining table & chairs, queen bed, steamer trunk, large full-​length mirror) very quickly and efficiently, were very concerned about already existing scratches or dings on my pieces, and were all packed up within 30 mins.
They were just as quick unloading into my new apartment, despite being a 3rd floor walk-​up. They unloaded, and placed everything exactly where I wanted it and even helped me set-​up my bed.
Chris & Julius completed all of this within 2 hours and there were no hidden fees when I paid at the end.
Awesome job and I would highly recommend them!

This is the best moving company in Houston, look no further. We’ve had bad and decent movers before but these guys are all pro! They take care of everything, move really fast and are very respectful. James and his team made sure our move was as smooth as it could be. The pricing is very decent for the service they provide. I swore 15 years ago that if I ever moved again that I would use a moving company. Picking square cow movers was the best decision I ever made. The three guys that showed up were very polite, generally concerned about not damaging my property, and they ran back and forth from the truck. My wife said she felt guilty just watching these guys work so hard while we stood around. I’ll recommend them to anyone in the future. Great company, stress free move!!!

This was hands down the best moving company that I have ever used. Their quoted price was very reasonable compared to other companies. The fact that they use three guys sold me.
The team showed up right on time and started moving things out to the truck right away. I was immediately impressed with the amount of care they took in wrapping the furniture and entry ways, stairwells, floors, etc. The team was very quick and were always hustling. At one point while we were unloading I was on the second story of my new complex. I could look down and see the truck but the guys had no idea I could see them. I watched as they were unloading my stuff and then literally running back to get more. The lead guy communicated with me throughout the whole process. Everything made it in great condition and exactly where I wanted it in the new place. The next day when I was turning in some paperwork to the leasing office one of the office ladies commented on how impressed she was with my moving company and how polite they were. Highly recommend these guys if you need a moving company.

Square Cow was so easy to work with and took my job on very short notice. I am so glad that another moving company recommended them to me. I hired Square Cow Movers with crew Chris Kersey, Jermaine, Drew, Naim and Chris. From beginning to end, the entire experience was very professional. They called to confirm the appointment, sent helpful tips for moving day, showed up timely and never stopped working! They were pleasant, helpful, professional and always said, «we can do that»!

Deremy, Naim, and Dre were our movers. They did an excellent job. Covered everything, moved the furniture without a flaw. They were respectful, well-​mannered and just everything you would want movers to be. I will do business with SquareCow Moovers again and I hope I get these guys!
