Over priced salad bar in my opinion. You hardly get any meat and are charged more for a tiny bit extra. Not worth it in my opinion but I know many people that do like it. It’s not horrible it’s just over priced.

This is by far my favorite salad place to indulge in and my first time at this location. I came during lunch hours and the crowds were there but the line moved very quickly and there were plenty staff working who were kind yet quick. I ordered the Caesar salad with shrimp and grilled turkey,(& some other additives) — outstanding! I love that their croutons have a semi-sweet flavor to it — blends well. I’m not even going to complain about the price because if you’re not a first-timer you know what you’re paying before you walk in the door. It is what it is! You can either pay it or eat elsewhere. I’ve made a lot of adjustments to my eating habits and I’d rather pay $ 13 for a salad that’s healthy and will keep me full for 4 hours than pay for a $ 8.99 burger, fries & coke that’ll have my sleep at my desk LOL your choice. All in all, the place was very clean, staff was nice & I will definitely return.

Serious stomach issues!!! I have been to this location several times for lunch but last Wednesday, my fiancé and I met there after work for dinner. We both had a regular salad and I also had soup. The next day we could not stay off the toilet. These stomach issues are still present and it’s been almost a week. I will never risk eating at this location or any for that matter. Something was wrong with the lettuce since that was the only thing we had in common. Won’t risk that sort of discomfort again.

First time to visit Salata & not a great experience. Extremely overpriced for what you receive. Though I will say that the tomato basil soup was very good. There are just so many more reasonably priced options for soup and salad.

I ordered online for a work lunch for 6 people. When I went to pick up, I waited at the counter for over 5 minutes before anyone would even acknowledge me. Since the order contained soup, salad and cookies for 6 people, it was a decent load to carry. The guy at the counter told me I had to pack my own silverware, napkins and even fill up the drinks, and then ended with«I don’t know how you are going to carry all this out» and walked away without so much as offering to help with any of it. They forget a few ingredients in a salad and completely left off a soup from our order. The tortilla soup in my order was nothing but broth and some floating tomatoes– I wont order that again. All in all– if you are going to spend that much for soup and salad, Salata should step up their customer service game.

I had the $ 8 salad with $ 3 extra for chicken and throughout the whole bowl I barely found any pieces of chicken like wtf this place is a rip off for $ 11 I’d rather go next door and buy a salad at chik fil a. I tried the asian bbq chicken and it wasn’t good and neither was the pesto chicken that I had with my salad. It just tasted like regular chicken with no seasoning at all. I also had the chipotle flavored chicken with my wrap and it was good and the tomato basil soup was also good and those were probably the only thing I liked there. Other than that I think this place is a rip off for the price you pay and they barely give you any meat for your wrap/salad

I love salad but I don’t like this location. I got a large salad and after I sat down, I realized the dressing was not adequate. I asked for just a little more and was told that it costs $ 1 for additional dressing. Really? $ 11 for a salad and they can’t put enough dressing on it. Terrible customer service. I felt like I was trying to get more than I paid for!!! I declined the dressing although it was offered for free THIS time. So, I probably will go again but not as often and I will make sure there is enough dressing before they move me down the line.

I LOVE this place but this location is the worst. They act like giving you lettuce comes out of their pay! I have to almost trick them into giving me extra! lol The only reason I will be going back is because it is the only one in the area!

I had a buy one get one coupon to use after 4pm. My order was ready at 3:55. Salata refused to honor the coupon. Wow are you serious it’s five to four. The manager suggested I wait until four. I used to like salata. Maybe this location needs to learn better customer service. Sorry salata but your overpriced salads are not all that. I will be taking my business elsewhere

I want to love Salata but I don’t LOVE it. I’ll eat it. I’ll eat it because it’s the healthier option. It’s like a salad bar but the workers prepare it for you… so you don’t really get to put in as much(or little) of an ingredient in your salad as you would really want. Somehow I always end up paying like $ 12 – 15 for my meal too! I think it’s a little on the higher side as far as prices too. Side note: their prices already include tax too. I would rather go to panera bread.

Good but overpriced for sure. I asked for a Chicken wrap and added and Shrimp and I watched her Meticulously count the shrimp, like to make sure I didn’t get too much extra lol Soooooo RIDICULOUS(it’s not like the shrimp extra was for Free) keep in mind it’s an hour before closing and they have a full layout of food still. They need to get a tad bit more generous with the proteins for the Price. $ 21.00 for two wraps. Good but I get more elsewhere Like freebirds and Panera.

Relatively cheap, excellent salad when mixed properly(the ginger lime vinaigrette mixes well with beets) and I found the black tea with cinnamon superb.

I don’t know about the last two people writing reviews but this place is THEBOMB! I come out of this place STUFFED if I get the large salad and I feel very full with a small salad but that might be because I get a lot of topping on mine. I go to school in Austin and this is the first place I stop for food on the way home, ALLTHETIME! This is not your regular salad bar. Everything just feels different. I don’t know what’s in the greens but they’re so good! I’ve been coming back to Salata at least three times a month for the past two years! When I found out they opened this location closer to my house, I knew I’d be here every week! There are so many options there’s just no way to get tired of the food here! 5 stars! If give it 10 if I could! My order!(this should keep you coming back) I have started sticking with the small salad, only romain hearts for the greens, then celery, carrots, alfalfa, corn, garbanzo, parmesan, sun dried tomatoes, dried cranberries, apples and top it off with balsamic vinaigrette. Then, I add Asian BBQ chicken and add extra crab meat(this can make the salad pretty pricey). Lastly, I get sesame sticks(my favorite part) and croutons! For the bread option, you should get the whole wheat! Enjoy!

Being a fan of Souper Salad, I was interested in trying this place. It’s laid out in buffet fashion, but you are served ala Chipotle, Subway etc… You start out by opting for a large or small salad or a wrap. The ingredients are sectioned off nicely and there are a ton of choices although as with any setup like this I imagine it’s slow at peak hours. Also, I’m typically not a fan of servers in these instances because your portions are chosen for you and if you want a little of this and more of that, it tends to get annoying to you, the server and the people behind you in line. That said, the serving sizes were good and when I inquired about certain ingredients or was unsure, they were quick with a testing spoon asking me if I wanted to try it first. One of the two employees I encountered were friendly, the other wasn’t rude just quiet and stand offish a bit. The selections were fresh and options are aplenty, toppings, meats and dressings included. The seating area is nice but seems kinda small when you factor in the rush hours, and the jazzy muzak crap they play has got to go, IMO anyway. I had a large salad with buffalo chicken and chipotle ranch dressing as well as a serving of soup. Oh, did I tell you they have soup? Three kinds but I don’t know if it’s always the same or if they rotate out. I tried the broccoli soup and didn’t care for the seasoning or how the ingredient amounts were parsed out in the blend. The salad however was quite good and is a huge serving. The chipotle ranch is spicy so take that into consideration. I had the soup, large salad with buffalo chicken, avocado(add the dreaded $ 1) broccoli soup and bottled water for $ 13. Overall a positive experience, I’ll come back to try other options. While I was there I witnessed many people getting orders to go which is an avenue I may travel as well if they don’t kill that music. Let’s go with 3.5 /5

Okay went here to eat healthy. The salad was good just way over priced. Small salad with some little bits of chicken was $ 9.00. The salad comes their way; think of it as socialized salad. If you want a lot of say mushrooms, you are out of luck. The price includes an optional wrap even if you don’t want one. From the way they make the salad, you would think that whatever goes in your salad comes out of their pay. I left feeling as hungry as I walked in; just $ 9.00 lighter. I am happy they built this next to a Whataburger.

Bull crap! Overpriced for a damn salad. Not recommended for anyone who don’t like much on their salad. Taste like a salad from McDonalds to me just that the chicken from McDonalds taste better

Salata is called the«next generation of salad» but I can’t see how it is. It’s basically getting a customized salad at a salad bar that isn’t self-service, so you can’t control how much you want of one thing unless you ask. When you first walk in, you pick if you want a regular salad, a small salad or a salad wrap. There’s a good variety of greens at the beginning whether you want a spring mix, romaine, spinach, or a mix of them all. They have pretty much all the toppings you could want: tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, jicama, radishes, carrots, broccoli florets, corn, black beans, kidney beans, chickpeas, sliced mushrooms, cheese(feta crumbles, two kinds of shredded cheeses), beet chunks, avocado(extra $ 1), raisins, craisins, walnuts, almonds, walnuts, croutons and such. I think I’ve listed the basic gist. Dressings seem to be pretty good. I asked for it on the side so they do fill up at least two little containers of it. Otherwise, I was a little shocked at the ladlefuls of dressing added and it looks like Chipotle Ranch was the best seller out of the dressings. Then there’s the protein options available. I think I counted 4 – 5 different kinds or flavored, grilled chicken. I picked the herb marinated grilled chicken which was pretty good. There were flavors like Asian, BBQ and Chipotle. Ultimately, after everything is picked out, they wrap your salad wrap or toss your salad for you. They also include a slice of bread with your salad. I picked a pesto bread and thought it tasted ok. They do reheat/toast it, but it didn’t taste very different when I brought it home. Overall, I spent about $ 11 on my salad because I added chicken. I thought it was ok. It’s convenient(and you’re paying for the convenience of not gathering all the salad fixins to make your own salad at hoe), and yet not so convenient logistically because of how long it took to build a salad. A staff member behind the counter tries to work on 3 salads simultaneously with 3 customers, so it’d be faster if he could finish one before starting another. Or else, it’d be easier if it were self-serve.

I was excited Salata opened up near by until I noticed the price and how much they skimped. $ 8 for a big salad(like it usually is) and $ 3 to add chicken? It’s usually only $ 2. I hate to be that cheap person. It’s only $ 1. I’ll just drive a couple miles down to 1960 and 290 where they’ll skimp me for a dollar less.

WORST Salata location. Just opened 2 days ago but still… the worst. They’re more expensive than the other locations($ 11.00 for a small salad and CAN of soda where other locations are $ 10 for a small salad and a fountain soda with refills?). The aforementioned fact that they have no fountain sodas(just cans!). And worst of all some employee brought their 3 young children to work with them and they were running around in and out of the office, in and out of the kitchen, behind the serving line, through the tables and up and down the booths. I WANTMY $ 11.00BACK, SALATA. MYMEALWASRUINEDANDNOEMPLOYEEWOULDDOANYTHINGABOUTTHISSITUATION.
