Independently owned and operated by videogame enthusiasts, we buy, sell, and trade videogames, new and used, for all game consoles. From retro classics for the original Nintendo, to modern platforms like the Playstation 4, we stock an extremely varied selection of games, consoles, and accessories, at great prices. We offer the best trade-​in values in town, in either cash or store credit. We carry unique items you won’t find in traditional game stores, like the Retron 5 console, and brand new accessories for vintage systems. We refurbish all our used games in-​store, and also offer disc repairs for scratched games. Looking for a rare game? — We’ll call you when it gets traded in, or special-​order it from one of our vendors, to get it to you at a fair price. We also offer gift cards, so you can be sure to never gift the wrong game!

History

Established in 2015.

Founded in the summer of 2015, we wanted a game store that would be comfortable and convenient, both for retro game enthusiasts, and modern gamers, without the pushy/​snobby attitude of traditional game stores. We were tired of buying scratched up used games with cases covered in old price labels, or buying the last copy of a «new» game, after the game had already been opened… then having magazine subscriptions and pre-​order offers spouted to us robotically by a salesperson. So we’re doing this thing properly! All our disc-​based games are always refurbished in-​store, our cartridge-​based games are lovingly cleaned & restored, and games with worn cases are always provided new ones. And we do it all with a friendly attitude, and an understanding of what game-​playing consumers want and deserve.

Business Owner

I got my first Atari at the age of 3, played Super Breakout, and immediately fell in love. I was a diehard Nintendo/​Sega addict, and I lived in arcades for the majority of my teen years, corrupting my mind with hours of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat 2. I’m passionate about retro game-​collecting, from NES to NEO-​GEO, and everything in-​between, and I’m always open to anyone who wants to stop by the store and just chat about the history of the game industry! While I still play the occasional modern release, I mostly stick to the newest versus-​fighting games, first-​party Nintendo games, puzzle games, and absolutely anything that can be played competitively one-​on-​one.
