Montoya-Nino Luz DDS PA

Like any other person, when I learned I needed a root canal, I was horrified. The name of procedure just raises goosebumps across my arm. However, little did I know that this would be one of the most peaceful dental experiences I’d ever had.
My tooth had been in excruciating pain for some time and my dentist referred me to Dr. Montoya-​Nino. Their receptionist, Karina, was very kind and made sure to call and remind me about my initial check up before I went in. The office was pristine and the staff was very warm and welcoming. At the consultation, they made me watch a video about exactly what a root canal is and how the doctor was going to go about the exam listing the procedure step-​by-​step. They assured me that this was going to be painless.
Before my procedure, the doctor prescribed me medication and antibiotics for the pain, which was very very helpful and even went out of her way to refill the prescription upon learning that I was still experiencing pain. When I arrived to my root canal appointment, I was offered a pillow and blanket and even the option of watching a movie through my procedure. I could see that the staff and doctor made sure I was comfortable through the 90 minute procedure. And, I was! I had my iPod plugged in the entire time and even fell asleep.
Overall, Dr. Montoya-​Nino and her staff are excellent people to be patients of. I highly recommend for endoctics procedures. I look forward for returning to them for my second root canal!
