Breakfast buns are delicious — egg, ham and Jalapeño. Fruit napoleons are yummy, too. And after 1PM on weekdays they give you a 50% discount!

You can always rely on the Kolache Factory to get fresh, quality kolaches. Kolache Factory is best if you want a variety of different types of kolache… sausage, potato, egg, chorizo,… even fruit kolaches (the way they originated in Germany). Prices are a little higher and portions are smaller, but only because this chain has perfected kolache perfection in every bite.
I was excited to bring the hubs here since he’s never had a kolache before. He was deflowered by the pulled pork kolache and immediately asked, «Why doesn’t California have kolaches??» I agree.

Every time I go back to Houston, I insist on visiting the Kolache Factory at least once a day. Sausage-​jalapeño-​chesse kolaches put doughnuts to shame. Savor these yummy breakfast treats while you can people, they’re hard to find west of El Paso… believe me, I’ve tried!!!
