Description

Specialties

It’s our passion for baking that comes out more than anything in our Macarons. Some of customers say that if you squeeze them just right you can see the love we put into each and every one of our heavenly desserts.

There’s nothing more special to us than that first bite. That perfect soft slightly-resistant exterior matched with a meticulously paired filling. That’s what we live for, seeing our customers take that first bite, and be completely powerless to go for a second.

We make desserts and gifts, perfect as a treat for yourself, a way to express how much you appreciate your team or even a way to show a special someone you care. Visit us on-line or come in to see the full selection. In store, our artisan baristas serve Italian espresso, coffee, and loose-leaf tea for an elevated dessert experience.

We can’t wait for you to take that first bite!

Bite Macarons

Specializing on baking French macarons and desserts with a modern twist, Pastry Chef Sandia Horng conceptualized Bite Macarons and opened its in West University Place in Fall 2013. While Bite’s macarons are created true to the pastry’s authentic French roots, Chef Sandia infuses each of them with her unique personal signature. Each macaron is crafted to have a unique texture and distinctive not found in other bakeries. Before launching Bite Macarons, she also won online attention for her «Jordan XI Bred Cake,» a «sneaker-concept cake» so real that it was difficult to tell it apart from the original sneaker model. Still considered the best sneaker cake ever made, it was the subject of many popular forums, blogs and other international publications. Sandia was born in Houston and was raised here, as well as in Austria and Germany, which strongly influenced her European confections.
