Envision Nails

Came in on a Friday afternoon, the place wasn’t crowded but I’m sure it’s packed on the weekends. I got French manicure and pedicure done. The women did a good job on my hand nails but I wasn’t impressed with my toe nails. Also, I think the massage could have been a little better and longer.
I would consider this place a little expensive for what you get. Below is the cost of different services they offer that I noticed on their board:
Manicure $ 17
Spa pedicure $ 44
Normal pedicure $ 31
If you want French, there is an extra $ 5.
Polish only $ 10

Terrible experience. Had a pedi here and it was a total rush job, even though they weren’t at their busiest. They hardly got all the rough skin off my heels, they didn’t put on a topcoat and they got me out of the chair before my nails were even dry, so I ended up smearing one of them just a couple of minutes later. Where are their pro nail dryers? Don’t waste your $$ and time here. If you want one with a better atmosphere and customer service, try Bliss Day Spa on Shepherd Dr.

Service was fine, clean place. 45 dollar pedicure and noticed chopping the following day. Few days later, I had to redo my 45 dollar pedicure!

Love this place — I walked in randomly a few months ago since the salon is right around the corner from where I work. They are always busy, which is a good sign, and they always squeeze me in and I’m back to work in-​time. I usually get a shellac manicure for $ 40. I recently got a french shellac and it was $ 45 — Prices are slightly higher than other salons, but I attribute that to the Rice Village area and the demand they get. I have found that some of the technicians rush through the service and don’t spend much time on massaging, but I’m always happy with how my nails look. I return here about once a month!

Just to begin– I am extremely picky with my manicures but ended up extremely happy with my first experience here.
I got a pedi and a shellac and powder mani. As soon as I walked in I was greeted politely and sat down in a pedi chair. I went on a Monday around 3:00 so it wasn’t crowded at all.
Overall the atmosphere isn’t that great for the price and they only offer water– that’s the only reason for the four stars. The service was amazing– I even asked for 4-​YES FOUR– extra 15 min of massages on my feet and shoulders.

I don’t know why I always end up coming here. They rush through the service and the quality is poor. Polish is chipping 2 days later, no complimentary massage, & prices are higher than most. I always leave frustrated and disappointed.

Make sure you clearly specify the treatment you want. I was charged double what I expected to pay. I stated I wanted a pedicure and they gave me a «spa» pedicure that was double the price. NOT GOING HERE AGAIN! #SHADY

I always receive quick service here, good pedicures. Pricing is a little high, but location is very convenient.

Poor service. Over priced. Horrible job. I have no idea how I spent so much money on such a bad pedi. Went with a friend & her experience was just as bad. Go somewhere else. There are plenty of options around town.

This place is HORRIBLE. The worst shellac manicure I’ve ever received– it started peeling off two days later. The nail technicians were also extremely rude, and did not even look at you or act interested that you were there. So not worth the price– $ 40 for shellac and $ 40 for a «spa» pedicure (aka the woman rubs your calves with sugar scrub for 20 seconds). Will not ever be returning. Do not give these people your business, especially since they act like they clearly don’t even want it.

i needed a pedicure, and just happened to pass this place. The ladies that worked there were very prompt, and I was helped immediately. The first thing that i noticed was a woman leaving with a bag of nail tools. I thought «thats a really smart idea, to bring your own nail file, etc». I later found out that the salon gave you the tools that they used on you to bring back. Moreover, all of their nail tools were brand new or freshly cleaned. The technicians were extremely thorough, and spent about an hour on me. I will absolutely return!

I somehow stumbled upon this place while waiting for a client. I just needed my eyebrows tended to but I didn’t like the other places I had been because they make my eyebrows so thin even when I ask them not too. The ladies here do exactly what I ask. They don’t take away from my eyebrows at all. It’s a very spacious place and very clean. I will definitely return when my eyebrows need loving again.

I would not go to this salon… they really could care less if you have a good treatment or not… they just want to hurry you through and get the $$$$! My 16 year old daughter went to Christy the facial person there and she was treated poorly, just another face, and taken advantage of by being charged for a 1 hour facial and was only given a 30 minute facial… that’s so sad! She worked hard to save her money to get a facial and she only got ½ of one! DO NOT go here if you want to be treated with kindess and repect… its all about the $$$$$$$$$$$ not the client!

I don’t know why people love this place but if you are perceived as a person who can’t afford it you will get the worst mani/​pedi.
I went in while waiting on my heels to get fixed (the business next store is the best when it comes to shoe repair). I asked for a mani/​pedi ($ 55 if you want to sit in the «spa» chair $ 42 if you want to sit in a ordinary chair and have your feet popped in a basin full of luke warm water) I took the $ 42, I figured they would do just as a good of a job for either and I was mistaken. The total amount of time they spent on my services was 15 min. No real time of making sure that the nail polish was not on my skin and actually on my nails. I was extremely unhappy because I thought from the clientele they would take pride in their work and they don’t well at least not for me.
What really did it for me was when the nail technician tells me that I look unsatisfied and I told her I wasn’t but it was ok because I would not be returning back. She tells me that my service more than likely was not a good one because they are bias on «my kind» of people. «My kind» do not like the prices and make disgruntle comments and they are bad tippers. Well I’m pleased to say that «my kind» will not be returning back. Also I posted the picture of the bad manicure.

I have been coming here for over twelve years. I love the atmosphere. Not all the nail techs are equally talented, but I always have my faves. I can always get an appointment the same day. The facility is very clean and well maintained. I moved to the Woodlands, but they are worth the drive. The prices aren’t the best in town, but all the other positives make up for that.

Yuck! The owner, Nancy, treats the staff unkindly and the prices are through the roof! It’s totally not worth it.

I went here on Sunday since Eternity Nails is now closed on Sunday. Don’t waste your time or MONEY. The girls were rude and they do your pedicure in a tub of water, not a relaxing massage chair (unless you want the $ 46 spa pedicure). My manicure chiped w/​in a day and I was more upset than stressed after I left. I will never go back… and will revamp my schedule to make it to Eternity Nail on Bellaire instead!

LOVE how quick they are, 30 minutes beautiful solar nails. I have been going for years.
The waxing I do not use as the room is a little to unclean for my taste, but the staff is excellent.

Envision Nails, in between the Office Depot and Sushi King on Richmond, is pretty much the only place that I get my nails done anymore.
It’s a very large place with about eight chairs that have built-​in massagers and a place to soak your feet. There are also probably another fifteen stations for regular manicures and pedicures plus a room for their waxing services.
The technicians are very friendly, but not overly so. I hate it when I feel like I have to maintain a conversation when lots of times I just want to sit and relax.
The manicures and pedicures I receive here are usually very good, though there has been one or two times that I think a better job could have been done. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not, but since I started making this my main nail place, I rarely break a nail.
They also do chair massages here which are quite good for the money and work perfectly as a pick-​me up or when you just need a little something to help you relax other than a cocktail.
My favorite thing about this place — and why I always come back — is because they do a phenomenal job on nail design. My favorite is the goldfish that always looks fabulous against blue nail polish. At Halloween, I had a spider on a spider web painted on, which was so fitting for the season. I also had a friend get little yellow ladybugs done against a red polish and they were super cute.
If you’re looking for something a little different, be sure to ask to see the examples that they have, but also ask them if you’re looking for something in particular. The spider I had done, for example, wasn’t on there at all.
Another plus is that they are open seven days a week and are open until about 7:00 in the evening. Later hours are always good, especially if you’re trying to get there after work.
The prices here are probably a little higher than I would really like to pay, but with the beautiful designs and the hours, it’s always the first place I go.
