Me and a friend came in on a late Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t busy at all. We quickly got sat and had people start on our pedicures. I had a lady that worked on my nails and another on my toes. The gel color I chose for my nails was almost out, so they chose an alternative color that was more sheer than I wanted, but what can they do right? As my friend and I were getting worked on, three more people came in, so I sort of felt rushed because my lady had to redo my nails since the other color was out. By the end of the experience, the lady had made my pinky nail bleed and my entire right hand was crooked as hell. All my nails on my right hand curved upwards to the right. I guess it’s partly my fault because I didn’t ask to look on that hand, only my left. But really how can she not notice? Also by the time I got to the car, I noticed that my pinky was still wet, meaning she didn’t lock in that finger with alcohol. I saw her do my entire hand, but she didn’t cover each nail one by one. I was just extremely annoyed and I told my friend I wasn’t going to come back lol My friend liked her nails though and I think she came back a few weeks later.
Everyone was extremely nice and the even though outside looks a little ratchet, inside looked clean and nice. Pretty cheap for shellac and a pedi honestly.

Was told the wait was 10 min… An hour later, they finally started my pedicure (after soaking in cold water the entire wait!) The girl rushed through as fast as she could doing a very poor job. Then after she finished painting my toes, I was furious! It literally looked like the paint job of a 6 yr old! I kept asking her to clean them up and she kept making it worse, so I finally just gave up! Don’t go here!!! There are so many other places worth the time and money and you a really get results you aren’t embarrassed about! Really not sure how this place even stays open!!!

Ahhhh my favorite deluxe pedicure. I come here at least twice a month for nails and pedi. But by far Andy is the best at pedicures. Great massage technique and very detailed.
The deluxe pedi is worth the extra cash, but if you really want to treat yourself go organic. Your toes will thank you later.
Kelly does a great job on my solar nails. She is also provides a relaxing atmosphere for facials and waxing. This is a family owned business that treats their clients well!
Ps if you are particular about cleanliness, dont worry here. They even do those plastic shells that cover the spa.

I am sitting here getting a pedicure right now and I’m appalled at this place. The pedi has been good so far, the man seems to be doing a good job. But I’m in a chair starting my pedicure. A different lady came over and started doing my manicure at the same time. I’m here with my boyfriend who is only getting a pedicure, so it would’ve been nice to get both my mani and pedi done at once so we will finish around the same time. Well 5 minutes in, my manicure lady saw her friend walk into the salon. So she took her gloves off and left me sitting there with my nails soaking in water so she could go talk to her friend. I’m thinking okay she’ll be back and continue on my nails in a couple minutes. Well 15 minutes later she decided to sit her friend down in a chair and started giving her a pedicure. So I’m almost done with my pedicure now and the manicure lady decided to get her purse and leave with her friend. I stopped her before she walked out and told her how unprofessional that was. She said «sorry that’s my best friend» … I don’t care who it is… you’re with a customer!!! Extremely frustrating. I let her know how I felt and I will not be back.

In Houston for a wedding and found Elegant Nails through Unilocal.Lili did an amazing manicure and it was only $ 12! I would definitely recommend this spot!

Kelly is an amazing person, if there’s a problem she would fix it right away! And she’s does amazing nails, and so does Kristine. This place is a MUST!

Great shellac manicure. Speedy and catered to all three of us quickly. Will come again!

Best mani/​pedi in Hoston for sure, and great price. Everyone was polite and professional. The massage was great. I would totally recommend this place!!!

Don’t go. They advertise a mani/​pedi combo for $ 30. When I told them that is what I wanted, they told me a man’s pedicure is $ 35. There is no signage indicating this at all. Bad business practices. Plenty of nail places in the area. This one is a pass and I will never ever go back.

Elegant Nails is the best Nail Salon I’ve found in the inner loop. Their prices are great, awesome color selection, and best of all — thief hours, they are open til 7:00pm Mon thru Sat, so I can always make it there after work.

Did not like it at all. I had to ask her to take off two nails because they were ridiculously crooked. In the end the nail powder was completely uneven and bumpy. For all their screwups and still had to pay almost 50 $

The first time I came here, my boyfriend and I didn’t have to wait at all. We both got manis/​pedis (that’s right, he got his nails done), but it took SO long. It took almost 3 hours, and we only go the «basic» package. It’s well priced and they have an ok selection of colors, but it wasn’t anything special.
I decided to bring my sister back here a couple of weeks later after a vacation, and they didn’t have anyone working! We came 30 minutes after they opened and the only person there was a receptionist or something. As in, she didn’t do nails. She said the actual nail «artists» or whatever wouldn’t be in for another hour if we wanted to wait. Why bother open your salon if no one can get their nails done until 90 minutes after you open?

This is a great nail salon. Big and spacious on the inside with great service. Very clean, I mean they take the equipment from sterile bags for each person! (Can you say clean) The pedicure I got was awesome! Also had a great 10 minute message on my legs where they use hot lotion and oil and then place a hot towel at the end. They also use bath salts which make your skin nice an smooth. They sure take their time and are great at what they do. The girls there are very friendly :)

I think I have finally found my nail spot in Houston!
It may be hard to believe, but I had tried dozens of nail salons in Houston and I got cut numerous times when they did my manicure! So honestly I was really scared when I walked into Elegant, thinking if it was going to be another disaster. But WOW! The young lady there did a fantastic job on my manicure. Very careful and gentle. And the shellac gel nail she did for me was thin, slick, and strong. I had it for three weeks already and it looks like I just did it today.
The salon is very clean and also decorated very nicely. It actually gives you the high end feeling without the ridiculous charges. The price is also lower than the crowded little nail salon across the street. It’s a no brainier for me where I will go for my next fix up!

Good prices, nice employees, clean.
The best part is the neck/​shoulder massage you get while your nails dry!
I got a manicure with shellac polish, turned out great, not too thick like other places.

I think this was one of the best pedicures for my money I have ever received. The salon was clean and quiet (no music, which might bother some, but
after listening to 15 year olds jabber all day, I found it refreshing), and somewhat empty – there were two other clients and four technicians. The woman who worked on my toes was super sweet and very thorough. She spent twenty minutes trimming my cuticles and filing and buffing my nails, another fifteen exfoliating my feet and ten minutes massaging each if my legs. It was heavenly! She was very gentle and extremely careful. The polish job on my fingers and toes was perfect – no smudges or bubbles. The grand total for a spa pedicure and polish change on my fingers? $ 26. I left a nice tip :)

What I love about this place is the very sweet ladies who work there. They are very service oriented. When they begin to give you the arm, neck and or leg massage they look up at the clock to make sure you are getting the full 10 minutes on each arm and leg. Unlike most nail salons, they are not pushy. The salon is a little older and needs a little TLC, but it is clean. I like their location (near River Oaks) and LOVE that they are open on Sunday.

My experience here was ok. The parking lot is fairly small, so I ended up parking across the street and having to walk across traffic on Shepherd. (Not very safe.) You are asked to sign in and asked what services and then to choose a nail color polish. There weren’t too much of a variety of choices (I’ve seen more colors in other salons) and the whole environment was awkward because no music was playing in the background. I ended up getting a mani/​pedi for $ 30 (oh and BTW, they don’t accept AMEX) I was satisfied with the pedi since it was the whole 9 yards of getting them cut, feet massaged, warm lotion and hot towel to rinse your legs off. A guy was assigned to me, which I was skeptical about but he didnt do a very good job getting rid of the roughness at the bottom of my feet (caused by wearing heels all day) He did take his time but I ended up seeing some tiny bubbles in my nailpolish.
A lady was doing my manicure and I don’t think she did a good job, I dont think she understood english because I asked to get my nails buffed to make them shiny and clear polish and she ended up just filing and putting creams/​lotions/​nail stuff on my hands. But no buffing my nails :(. I was disappointed with that outcome. She gave a mean back massage, it didn’t feel relaxing or that comfortable. Nonetheless, $ 30 for both services is not that bad. Although I prefer going across the street to Nail Emry (a bit smaller salon though) — same price.

I’ve been to the Bissonnet location and it’s pretty decent so I was expecting the same.
The whole thing was rushed. Every single part right up to the woman asking me to pay no less than a few minutes after I was done so that they could close over an hour and a half early. She wasn’t even nice about it and to top it off, on my walk out, my not even dry polish got all smudged *Rolls Eyes*
I will not be back here.

Pretty good service; your typical nail salon run by Asians, mostly Vietnamese. Their hours are pretty good as they close weekdays and Saturdays at 9 pm, Sundays at 6. Their instruments seem pretty sanitary, too: they make you sign a release form before they use the instruments on you. Had a mani-​pedi for $ 30; the nice touch for me was they put hot towels on both hands and feet after massaging them; sweet! When I feel like having another mani-​pedi, I’ll definitely want to come back here.
