The Fix Ur Gadget concept was founded in the Fall of 2010 when one of our teenagers came home from high school with a cracked iPhone 4 screen. Frustrated by the lack of places to repair the phone, a business opportunity was born. Now, three years into our family owned business, we have 4 stores and have transformed Fix UR Gadget into a major player in the Gadget Repair market. At Fix Ur Gadget, we have seen and repaired, nearly every type of damaged smartphone, tablet, game console and laptop computer. In 2010, my sister and my brother in law came to me with an exciting idea to partner with them in a novel business concept. They presented the idea of creating a cell phone repair business after their kids had cracked numerous screens on their smart phones. My brother in law came up with the concept in January and by August of 2011, Fix Ur Gadget, was a dream come to fruition.

We have been very fortunate to have such a loyal customer base in the Houston and surrounding areas. After four years we have grown our business to four stores and are currently working on opening a fifth store in the downtown tunnel.

Our mission statement is to provide the best customer service in town. We strive to make this our goal on a daily basis. Our customers are the reason we are in this business.

Needed a plce to fix my completely damaged screen on my iphone6. Walked in and walked out in less than $ 30 min. Big supporters of law-​enforcement and military too and gave me a discount. My phone came back like new. And they provide a discount of you come back if you break it again. I highly suggest coming here for a great quick fix.

Came to the new location in the downtown tunnels. Service was fast and friendly. The technician told me it would be 30 – 45 min and it just took about 30. 30 day warranty! If my phone continues to work past 30 days I will change this to 5 stars .

Update: I dropped my phone again and had noticed the proximity sensor was not working from the last repair. I went back to this location, asked them to fix my newly broken screen and also mentioned the sensor was not working. They fixed both. So far, so good! Will return again when I break my screen.

YOU HAVE TO COME HERE FOR ANY GADGET FIX! These lady’s are amazing — they were a pleasure to deal with, I was in and out of the store in under 20 minutes, and even got the 10 off Unilocal deal.
I had tried earlier in the day to use a groupon to get my screen fixed, but turns out most of the groupon gadget fixers are scams (bummer), and what they do fix is terrible quality. Luckily these ladies saved my day (and mood) and got my screen fixed in no time.
Trust me come here for a no hassle pleasant fix. The store is very clean and nice as well, so your wait time will be a breeze.

I broke my iPhone 4 screen and glass back last year… They fixed it and I got it back the next day, good as new! Weird not having a phone for an afternoon…
Well, not to be frugal, being that I saved a ton of money by not going through insurance, I dropped my phone AGAIN and it smashed the glass AGAIN!
I had it fixed again and it was done the same day!
10⁄10 would recommend for an iPhone!

AVOID! BEWARE! TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH JOINT! They should be ashamed.
I called and spoke to the woman at FixUrGadget about replacing the LCD on my MacBook Air before heading over. She asked very specific model number, processor, etc questions then quoted me a firm price of $ 266. She said I needed to come over, verify the model number and pay a 50% deposit. When I showed up she verified that the info I gave her AND THEN TOLD ME SOME BS REASON IT WOULD BE OVER $ 500!!! This is a classic bait and switch con. Avoid this place at all cost.

There are those businesses that deserve negative stars and then there those that deserve SUPER stars — this is a SUPER STAR kinda business.
After shattering my iPhone yesterday I needed to get it repaired, as not to look ghetto for the weekend. I almost went with a place that I saw on GroupOn that promised the world for $ 80 — after researching a bit — I couldn’t chance poor quality/​service for a cheap price. Literally on the way to that other place, I decided to use the Unilocal-​iverse and found Fix UR Gadget.
Phillip the person that handled my problem was perfect in every sense of the word. He is a great representative for this little hidden gem on South Shepherd. The quality of work is perfect and the service was perfect.
